Although he had been disspointed about his sister's lack of encouragement as well enthusiasm about the lute he had discovered in the storage room he wasn't about to let it get to him. It shouldn't surprise him that his sister was so cynical and snide about it, she was that way towards most things.

Still he was going to need to fix it, the lute was horridly out of tune, and on top of that he had broken one of the strings. Being that he had no idea how to fix either problems he was hoping he could find someone in the village who could. Of course this meant resisting the urge to strum the cords in curiosity . His parents didn't know he had found it and he hoped to surprise them by fixing it up and perhaps learning a tune or two.

But being stuck at home while a blizzard tore through made it even harder for him to remain patient. Once the skies were clear he couldn't stand being stuck inside any longer and eagerly helped his father clear the snow from the front door and the sides of the house. His father had been telling him that they needed to go help clear other people's homes but Borra was already gone. Lute hidden as best it could in his satchel he was making his way...slowly down into the village.

So eager it didn't even dawn on him that...most shops would be closed up until the snow was dealt with.

Shukri was pretty positive that the weather in Zena existed for no reason other than to make his life more difficult. The young man had no qualms about climbing mountains, navigating slippery slopes and tiptioeing around herds of mammu. No , what he took issue with was the regularity with which the wind would simply pick up, throwing freshly fallen snow into the air and making it impossible to see. The wind tribe man was not familiar with Zena like he was with Sauti and every time the visibility got too low he had to hunker down and wait the storm out lest he get lose..

"This stupid package better be worth it" the pale haired boy grumbled as he trekked his way toward the village he'd been tasked to deliver it to. Shukri still didn't know why he of all people had had to be sent to do this. Sure he was swift and agile and accustomed to traveling but so was most of his band, including those who had mounts. Ridwan was a sturdy capramel but she was not meant to carry someone his size.

Maybe this was because he'd helped that ice tribe girl that one time. If so it was true that no good deed went unpunished.

Disappointment flooded his expression after all how was it that he didn't think that no one would be open at this point? They had just had a large snow storm so of course everyone was out working themselves out of the snow drifts that had built up against their houses.

Ohhh...maybe that was what his father was annoyed with him about...oops. He had helped to dig themselves out but no one else. A gloved hand went to his forehead and he groaned, his father was going to lecture him something fierce when he got home. It wasn't something he looked forward to..

Turning he wondered if he should go face his punishment early, only to be distracted by a figure coming up the slope that he didn't recognize. His face broke into a grin, all worries about his father and his punishment forgotten as he wanted to go meet this new person!

Trudging through the snow best he was able he waved to the person approaching. "Hello!"

Shukri raised a hand in greeting and waved back. Well at least he was getting a pleasant welcome today. Many sections of the ice tribe were notorious for being rather well..cool towards outsiders and despite their regular relations with the wind tribe that didn't always help. The dark haired male approaching him seemed cheery enough at first glance.

"Good morning, I'm Shukri. who're you?" Perhaps this person could help him find the intended recipient of this package. Preferably before Bergchi decided that Zena needed just a little more snow.

Borra was more than happy to receive the name of this stranger it was an interesting name that was for sure and he only beamed more as he was in turned asked for his name.

"My name is Borra. You are not from around here, so welcome!" He was of course pointing out the obvious, as Shukri was not of the ice tribe so of course he was not from around here. Of course he was just assuming things, for all he knew Shukri could live in the area and he had just never met him before.

"Are you here to visit? Or business? Perhaps a vacation?"
