From the makers of Monster High, they bring you: "Ever After High"! The daughters and sons of Fairy Tales, mostly from the Brothers Grimm tales, go to school to fulfill their destinies...or, do they? Are you a Royal or Rebel? We'll find out more in July! For now, Youtube has provided us with these videos! Also, an old friend finds herself in this school as well, can you spot her?

My owner is a Mad Hatter in real life. She loves hats very much. So, Madeline Hatter is her favourite. To add onto that, Madeline has a seafoam teal going on in her hair and has blue in her colours as well. Blue, any shade, is her favourite.
Mine, as Merida, would have to be Raven Queen. Neither of us want to follow tradition and we're trying to break it.
If you can't tell, we're both Rebels. wink
Side note: My owner already has made up a Rebel OC. She just needs to flesh out her profile a bit more and get artwork of her done. 3nodding

Awesome to hear.
I have to go with Rebel. I love Madeline Hatter she's absolutely adorable.
Favorite Royal: Briar Beauty because we both love to live every minute.
Side Note: I have to say my owner is much like Ceder Wood at first then soon becomes a Madeline Hatter.

((If she becomes a Royal, C.A. Cupid will be mine. My OC is also from a Grecian Fairy Tale and I'd like a clear image of Cupid's new clothes so I can see the drapery of the top. 3nodding I have an idea in my head, but, again, it's mostly for Drapery Purposes.))

I'm sure it's lovely but, I can't stand that none of them look anything like their parents what so ever! Also I agree with Ariel, I was hoping for beautiful gowns, not short casual dresses. Also practically everyone is wearing the same basic thing, and why on earth would any princess wear that much makeup? I'll probably keep watching but I really wish they had stayed true to what my favorite princesses daughters should look like. (in my opinion)

Well, for starters, I think they are doing it to bring in the younger Generation girls. They are all wearing Lolita outfits. Most of these Fairy Tales they are using is from the Brothers Grimm versions and not Disney Versions. They are more modern than the Disney versions. Last I checked, a bunch of people still dislike the revamp of the Disney Princesses and let's not forget what happened to Merida. Their Monster High Franchise was to "bring out" those Doll Collector's or the "Unpopular" kids by bringing them something they can relate to. Gothic/Punk/Elegant Gothic Lolita was used for that franchise, including the not so Lolita designs as well. 3nodding Personally, I think they wanted to balance out the different "hang out groups" that people grow up in.

I actually find this new fandom to be quite interesting. The characters seem like they're going to be pretty interesting. And a hit for young girls every around the world. Thank you for introducing it to the group smile

I like them. I love that they were based off of the Brothers Grimm stories and I also love their designs. My niece was/is obsessed with Monster High and I don't doubt that she will now make it a point to collect all these as well.
Oh! Also, I know this is a Disney guild, but that doesn't mean Disney's versions are the only ones - saying that they should look like this or that really serves no purpose. Creativity should not be limited to singular representations, and I appreciate that they went a different route by basing them off of the darker stories. Not everyone likes the Disney types.

i like it my little cousin got me into monster high and I love Raven Queen I feel here when it comes to being treated as if she didn't follow the rules. Since I don't have wings I am a rebel lol but I love the Mad hatter daughter.
