Hmm, alright, well, if your character was interacting with someone, quote them if they haven't replied in awhile. Then after a few days, move on.

My characters Silver and Malak will be coming to Town Square looking for possible boarders for Silver's manor. Your character is welcomed to interact with them.

Yes, but, in the rules, quotes are used to remind someone who hasn't posted in awhile that you've posted. I can't fight the rules, only enforce or modify them.

We have at the guild, but the problem with modifying the quoting rule is that it requires approval by the Crew, constant quoting stretches out the pages, and it will set a precedent for constant quoting when rule is changed again. Guild members will want to know why we could do it in the past and not in the present. Some may accept it, but others won't.

Also, the quoting rule of only when then person hasn't replied in awhile places responsibility on the role players to keep themselves active in the guild. The Crew can't always monitor activities, so it's important guild members do it themselves.

Anyways, another reason why the rule exists is because we've had in this guild and other guilds where people who are replying to each other's posts immediately quoting each other. It wasn't like their posts were very long, just two or three lines that lacked much substance.
