Hopes: A mother and child she is helping/has helped come out okay in the end (childbirth, ect), [Please note she has very little hopes right since she lacks family/friends]
Fears: Unable to protect laboring mother, losing a child of her own, being unable to protect a child, cause harm to a mother or child
Hobbies & Activities: Nydia likes to spend most of her time playing with the children of the Greater Herd as well as the various other herds. She also likes lending her ears to first time mothers, soothing nerves and just generally supporting them in any way she can. When she isn't tending to mothers or children Nydia will walk the lands in silence, trying to keep herself busy in some way so she is distracted from her own cosmic payment for being what she is.

Anxious: Nydia's tornment has left her unable to feel at ease when she is unable to distract herself and thus she's left to feel like a caged deer. When she is distracted Nydia may suffer anxiety attacks or some discomfort.
Nurturing: Being compassionate and over all motherly to both foals and mothers pretty much comes with the territory of being a lesser deity of childbirth and children.
Submissive: When it comes to males Nydia is very submissive. Her own duties mainly do with children and mothers so Nydia has little interaction with adult males and often finds herself unsure on how to interact with them because of this. Thus when she is around them she acts as if she is almost afraid of them--which isn't entirely a stretch.
Sensitive: Nydia has a high level of empathy for others and can sometimes let their moods affect her own. She is very in tune with others, despite being able to convey her feelings at times, and will do what she can to help them if she can. While Nydia has a lot of issues she is very kind and will do whatever she can to assist another, even if it's to her detriment.
Restless: Due to nerves and general uneasiness Nydia is unable to keep herself still for long otherwise what little control she does have over her torment will be lost. When left alone with nothing to do Nydia will often enclose herself in her mind and as the saying goes, the mind is a dangerous place. This is especially true for Nydia
Withdrawn: Nydia is not incapable of interacting with others, however, when it comes to things she is unfamiliar with or when dealing with most stallions Nydia may come off as withdrawn. She may be interested in the conversation or activity but unsure of the situation or herself in that situation.
Pessimistic: Due to her torment Nydia is very internally pessimistic because she believes that she is unable to help no matter how hard she tries. She has pretty much no self confidence in herself though and may come off as timid or shy, this is where some of her submissive nature comes in as well.

Empathetic Manipulation: Nydia has the ability to project her own emotions and feelings onto mothers who are in an extreme amount of pain or are about to lose their life in childbirth--the same power is also used on children. She can't make them unconscious to what is happening or their own feelings but she can allow them to feel an overwhelming sense of peace and love which may make them more capable of dealing with what's happening to them, however, she can not force their own feelings out. Essentially it's a calming effect. This ability comes from her own emotions so all she is doing is projecting her love and compassion onto them despite most of the time being unable to feel at peace herself due to her torment.
Offspring Detection: Nydia is able to sense the presence of a child and detect when a mare is pregnant, even if she may not have shown any signs previously. This ability also extends further but is limited to her own blood meaning if she was ever to have children of her own Nydia would be able to sense where her children were and if they were alive.
Pain Sppression: Like most deity's, Nydia is able to suppress her own pain to some degree. This is directly linked to her torment and it only takes the edge off her torment pain so to speak so, so she can at least function some of the time.
Torment: Nydia oversees all children brought into this world and it is her duty to protect and watch over them as they grow. Her torment is to forever feel a mothers loss of a child. In her former life she had been a stillborn and thus she was forced to face the loss her mother felt when she came into her new life as a Deity. Nydia has a hard time controlling her torment and seems to always have a sense of dread and anxiety. This has no set trigger or limitation, but these feelings have been known intensify when she is around a pregnant mares or foals if she is not able to keep herself somewhat under control.
