Because of the short texts that come before and after the story's text, I would like for Jarid to be a man/teenager who is some form of ex-royalty and is on the run constantly. He's been running from his fate for 10 long years and is guarded off to what people say and most people solely judge him as to being just another pretty face and because of that try to get close but he pushes them away, not hearing what he needs, just what most people would want.
If that's good I'd like to do that; more will be given in the story.
