Hello citizen! This is Aegina, your self-sustaining underground city. Aegina receives energy and protection from the vibrant crystals atop the city, the crystal allows for the same environments on the surface to exist bellow, so natural earth cycles such as rain and storms do happen. Aegina is not just a city though, it is comprised of several different environments, including but not limited to rainforests and prairies. A Council of both founding men and women runs Aegina; they act as both a judiciary and executive body. A subcommittee of elected officials, called the Shadow Council, undertakes all legislative acts. Aegina’s army has a main post in the center of the city next to the Councils’ main hall of meetings. The main army post is referred to by the people as “The Epicentrum,’’ and the Councils’ halls is referred to as “The Hypocentrum.” The Aegina Army also has several posts outside the city boarders and one outside the city walls by the front of the bridge that led’s to the pathway to the outside world.

Many years before Aegina was completely established, there was a great calamity throughout the surface world. Ragging-monstrous storms completely annihilated all chance of living on the surface of the earth. Then luckily the members of the founding Council, they were called scientists in the time of dwelling on the surface, found the mysterious stone that provided everything needed to survive and found an enormous pocket of it bellow the earth and saved whomever they could.
*In present day Aegina, citizens are prohibited from going out into the surface world. There are constant messages of the perils of the surface world, beasts and disease and haunting mad spirits. There’s rumor that who ever sneaks into the surface world, is never heard or seen from again. The Council, who in recent years has secretly found signs of life reforming in the surface world, is circulating all these rumors. They believe that no one would ever want to leave their “perfect society” and that they are doing only what is best for all of Aegina’s citizens, no matter if it seems wrong to lie.
Now that you know the history and secrets of your city, why don’t you tell me a bit about yourself?
