✓ Mibu hopes, one day, to be able to remember why he ended up connected to a tree, and to also remember what was so important about him that he ended up receiving these visions of Time. And perhaps he also hopes to be set free from his imprisonment.
✓ Mibu also hopes that one day, others will find him and remember him, and begin telling others about him so he can receive more visitors as he used to, even if all they want is information. Only woodland creatures as friends and others to talk to gets very depressing after awhile.
✓ Last but not least, Mibu hopes that this world will become as peaceful as it used to, no matter which side wins this war, and that the world will flourish for azrein.
▻Fears:
✗ Mibu fears, above all, that the world will entirely forget about him. As he is part of a tree, he cannot move around and meet new people unless they first come to him and tell others about him when they leave. It has been many years since his last visitor and he fears that he may never have another visitor again.
✗ Another fear is that of the forest around him. It echoes through the trees and animals around him. Mibu fears that the forest will die, and take him with it. As a deity, it is strange to fear death, but it is not his death that he fears. As he is the God of Visions and Knowledge, if he dies, so will Knowledge decrease in the azrein that live upon the Isle until it becomes as nonexistent as him.
✗ Mibu fears that he will never be set free from this imprisonment. He cannot remember exactly how he got to be attached to the tree, but it has been the hope that he will be freed one day, that keeps him going.
▻Hobbies:
♥ Making up and telling stories to keep his mind active and his audience, the forest animals, entertained.
♥ Talking to himself and pretending to be other people that he may have once known... he can't remember them, but perhaps at one point they were real and not a figment of his imaginings.
♥ Counting anything and everything. From leaves on the trees, to the birds that make their home in his tree each year, to the bayrels that pass by with their pups..
▻Notes:
♥ Due to his power being drawn from the forest, he is also kept in exceptional state even though he has to stay in place.
♥Also, he can move a bit, but only enough to lay down and stand back up and turn, all of which causes a bit of strain on his antlers, as the branches are thick and not very good for moving except in natural ways.
♥As to how he become entangled with the tree, that is a portion of the Myth of him that is true, he was struck by lighting and blessed with visions of the entire past, present, and future of the Isle, but in doing so, it knocked him unconscious long enough for the forest to grow around him. The azrein gods kept his body is good condition for the time that he was konked out and made it so only the branches and his antlers merged and his body was harmed in no other way.
♥Instead of just letting him die as a result of his stupidity, the azrein gods saw a possibility in him and decided instead to use him as a vessel that would become important as the Isle grew older and more troublesome.
♥ As for what he did that was so bad to cause him to have the consequence of Torment: In his carelessness of the Isle and its growing life force, he believed and got into many arguments with others, telling them that they were wrong, trees were just trees and animals were just stupid animals. They could not think, they were only programmed to live and give life back to the Isle so that azrein could live. In his belief, he often made a game out of hunting the little animals, and killing them with his hooves by slowly, and painfully crushing them little by little until they finally passed out from the pain, and then he would place his hoof upon their heads and finish this job. He and his friends did this so often and to so many poor animals that the population of the small animals was declining and unable to rise, and they were on the verge of extinction.

Personality
⊲ Loony ⊳
Mibu has been alone for many years. In effect, his personality now reflects that. He has had to not only be his own friend, confidant, and enemy, he also has been lonely for so very long, that even just simply talking to the animals stopped helping him. He tends to be a little scatterbrained now and it is easy for him to get distracted and off track of whatever it was he was thinking or talking about at that moment, and often skips around from subject to subject, forgetting that anyone is there, if in fact he does have a visitor for once.
⊲ Power ⊳
He is connected to the forest in an intimate way. In becoming attached to the tree, not only did just the soft tissue of Mibu's antlers connect him to the tree, but it also connected to the nervous tissue, which is how he found out that in a forest, everything is connected, including the simple minded animals. This is where his power comes from; the life forces of the forest around him and it pools into the pit of his being giving him the ability to use those gifts that were given to him, even though he doesn't even realize it. Because he doesn't realize it, Mibu doesn't have the ability to flaunt it or even be humble about it. If someone were to tell him he has power, he would shake his head and argue that no, he does not. He is a simple azrein that has a runaway - what was I saying again?
⊲ Honesty ⊳
Mibu is anything if not honest. It is his forte... well nearly. He is one of those tha
t, if you were to ask if you look fat, he would answer yes if you do, and no if you don't. He is honest to a fault and entirely innocent or realizing that the truth can sometimes hurt. A fact is a fact, right? This is something that has always been a part of Mibu, and it was something he was born with. He never understood why others would lie, even if it was to protect someone from the truth. A lie is a lie and a lie is wrong.
⊲ Fearful ⊳
Being alone for a long time gives one the ability to make things up in your mind that could be a potential threat. Add having to be completely stationary to that, and you've got yourself a bad hand of cards. Mibu's imagination can run away with him sometimes, and take him for a ride that is sure to keep him jumpy for a few days. Mibu's first fear, is that of fire. If a fire were to take the forest, he would go down in it, so when he starts to feel the burning sensation of the forest in some far of corner that is burning for some reason, which is odd in his wet environment, fear grips his heart and causes him to imagine the worst, him being burnt to death, even though the fire is unlikely to come near him.
⊲ Hopeful ⊳
What does one have if they don't have hope? Mibu has many hopes and dreams and will find himself an extremely happy azrein if only he could reach that little ray of sunshine that likes to bath down on him. It may be hard to think about how one who is stationary and alone for a long time is hopeful, but it is the only thing Mibu can do. He fought for a long time on why he was this way, what cruel things he did before his awakening that cause him to become so cursed. In wondering these thoughts, it is only natural that, if he can't explain it, he can live with it and look for the good things to come, which in turn is the basis of hope.
⊲ Wise ⊳
As the God of Visions and Knowledge, Mibu is really smart and can prove this to you,.. if only you can keep him on topic and not let his brain scatter all over the place. If that happens while you are trying to get him to tell you something, you may as well just come back another day because you will not get his mind back once it leaves.
⊲ Optimist ⊳
Mibu can't help but to see the bright side of everything. Yes he is in a dark forest, but do you see that little hole there in his branches? Yes that. Everyday at noon and for four hours, he has bright sunlight streaming down upon him and bathing his body with its glorious light. See that brook that runs past his hooves, yes it seems to be in the way when it rains hard and decides to flood, but atleast he has a water source nearby and doesn't have to have someone bring him water.

Powers
⊲ Knowledge ⊳
As the God of Knowledge, Mibu can answer any question given within a short amount of time, whether he actively knows this information or not. The answer will just come out of his mouth while his eyes appear dull and void. He is a living, breathing, and standing encyclopedia of anything in the universe. The power in turn, takes a bit out of him, almost like the wind is knocked out from his chest, and he doesn't remember anything that he has said, only the question that was asked and then nothing. However, this can only be activated three times a day, so only three questions can be asked within a span of twenty-four hours. If there is anything else you must know, you will have to wait, or else Mibu will only shake his head and apologize.
⊲ Foresight ⊳
As the God of Visions, Mibu can see visions of the all possible future outcomes of anything. However, he cannot control when or what he sees. The visions can come at anytime, and usually last for a minute or two before it passes. In addition, he can only remember what was shown to him for a few hours time before it leaves his brain and he doesn't remember what was shown. Bear in mind, to those that ask about the future, it comes at a price to you as well. The knowledge of what has yet to pass will come as a shock and be unable to be comprehended for awhile.
⊲ Hindsight ⊳
Like his power of Foresight, Mibu can also see what happened in the past. Again he has no control over this power, and he cannot shut it off. Instead of flashes of visions from the past coming into his head like his Foresight, instead, he sees the entire past of whatever azrein or being comes to see him, and will know everything about them, from their conception to now. However, this is a lot of information for anyone, and as such, it causes him to become loopy and nearly pass out from the exertion it puts his brain through. If you wish to actually speak or get something out of him, it is a good idea to leave him be for a bit and let him rest before stressing him anymore by asking for information.
⊲ Torment ⊳
Because of his foolishness as a stallion, Mibu suffers from Torment. Because he was ignorant and often times hurt others just for his own greed (an act he doesn't remember except on occasion), and also ignored the hurt and suffering of the animals he hunted for pleasure, or the tree's he hurt by constantly sharpening his antlers on the trunks of trees, he is forced to suffer the pain of the forest as he lives and dies. From every tiny ant that is eaten, to the trees that moan and groan and break under high winds, he feels their pain for them and always will, until the Isle comes to reside under peace once again.

Lord Varian - The young god came to find him, by sensing that there was a new one. Mibu respects and even loves Varian as a friend and as a brother. He would do anything in his power to help his friend.
Acacia Winter - A little filly that wandered very far north and came to really love and trust the crazy stallion. He cares deeply for this female and tries to keep his 'eyes' on her even when she is gone. He always looks forward to seeing her again.

xxxxx⊲ A Visitor - Mibu's home is rediscovered in the depths of the forest, and he finally meets another sentient being for the first time in several years. Whether the visitor wants information, tales, or to hear one of Mibu's visions, he doesn't care. BUT ITS A VISITOR!
xxxxx⊲ I Want Information - An evil azrein hears the superstition of there being an azrein in the forest that can tell whatever anyone wants to know, and goes to find him. Finding Mibu he asks a for dark information that could put the Isle in peril.
xxxxx⊲ Like Minded-ness - Another being comes to seek out Mibu, whether they actually know it or not. However, when they find him, Mibu finds, through his power of Hindsight, realizes that he and this other azrein have a bit in common. This knowledge comes very dear to him as he envisions finally having a friend to spend time with and talk to about things in the outside world that they see, that he would think of in the same way. Eventually this being becomes a very dear friend to him, fulfilling his hope of finally having another friend.

The Story Goes Once upon a time, when the Isle itself was alive and growing, there lived a young Stallion who was as careless as a spring storm. He was free as a bird and gallivanted about with no worries that plagued him, nor responsibilities to bear. He would spend his days as he liked, running, climbing, exploring, and doing things that young stallions are apt to do. However, this stallion was foolish, for he made a terrible mistake one night. Disobeying what his mother taught him from a young age, he ventured out in the midst of a raging storm, gleeful and happy as could be. But it was all for naught, because in the middle of a wet and grassy field, he was struck by a blast of lightening which landed him on the forest floor where he fell into a deep, dark slumber. It was in this sleep that the God's cursed the foolish stallion for hurting the trees and forest animals in the midst of his gallivanting, and caused him to see everything from the creation of the world to the end. This knowledge pained him so, and caused him to remain asleep for many many years. When the foolish stallion finally awoke, he realized he was not alone and that something was different. When he stood, his antlers felt heavy and thick, and when he looked up...! He was attached to the tree! His antlers and the limbs of a tree that had grown while he was sleeping had merged, both in material, and in nerve systems. He could feel the heartbeat of the forest around him. He could feel what they felt, from their joy, to their sorrows, to their pain. His curse was completed. When he tried to remember what had happened he found he couldn't remember anything past when he woke up and found that he was part of the tree. Not the visions that the gods sent him, nor his own birth, if he was even born, that is. And that, my foals, is how the Foolish Stallion came to be, and also why you should respect all life, regardless of what kind it is.

/ / .xx For Foresight, the being he relates his Visions to NEEDS to be affected negatively in some way -- Knowing the Future is a heavy, heavy burden, and both Mibu AND the one who heard need to be negatively affected. Whether it's simply the fear of making the wrong decision, or falling into unconsciousness for a few hours, something has to happen.
/ / .xx For Torment, put a bit more back story into why he's affected that way -- exactly WHAT was it that he did to others, and why did that carry over to the present? While most Deities -- whether High or Lesser -- have Torment, they are specific to each one, and there needs to be more history there.
/ / .xx For Knowledge, that is a VERY good Power, HOWEVER, it is a LOT of information, and that much flowing into Mibu's mind all at once will be overwhelming, and thus there must be a consequence. Limit it to three times a day, and he will only Know things about the being in question from the present or the past; not what will happen to them in the Future. As that's a ridiculous amount of information, from conception to present, Mibu should realistically only be able to remember certain things -- bits and pieces -- about the being in question.
/ / .xx All Deities, whether High or Lesser, have a store of Inner Skill, but where that power comes from varies with each Deity and what their specific fields are. So, since Mibu is a very part of the forest, his Inner Skill would most likely come from his forest; the trees, the animals, the bugs, the rivers and streams, the sunlight, the decaying corpses -- anything and EVERYTHING that emits any amount of energy should fuel his Skill.
/ / .xx Flesh out his Personality and his History a bit -- HOW did he come to be attached to his tree, and WHY did that happen? Does he fear a fire in his forest, and what would he do if that were to happen? Does he have power OVER the things in the forest, or is he held apart from them, connected to them but unable to alter or aid them? Since he's held in stasis by the Tree, are his muscles atrophied, or does the energy from his forest keep him in good health?

/ / .xx I LOOOOVEEE how he's Stationary and how he's unable to move from his Tree. That is EXCEPTIONALLY unique, well thought-out, and absolutely freaking brilliant. Well done.
/ / .xx His Powers are good; not too strong, not too weak. I especially love his personal Torment, as well as Knowledge.
/ / .xx It's extremely realistic that since he cannot move and rarely gets visitors that he'd be a little off-kilter mentally. That's a good point in his Personality, and well thought out. Good work on that.
O V E R A L L :
/ / .xx Mibu is a VERY well-conceived character, and I believe he is a realistic Deity for the Isle. He has a place in the world and would be a good asset to all Azrein and Humans -- both Good, Neutral, and Evil -- and I'm excited to see just how he'll influence the Isle in the days to come. Mibu seems like a unique character, and both his Personality and the details of his Powers are unusual, but in a good way.
/ / .xx Mibu is singular and unparalleled because of the fact that he's forced to be stationary and bound to his tree. This is probably my FAVORITE thing about him so far, and because of that, there aren't any other Azrein like him, making him an asset to the world. Damned good work.
