As Tatsumaki grew older, he longed more and more for the outside world. Once he had stayed out to long in town and when it was morning, everyone had saw him. For his punishment he was beaten and whipped, so bad that scars remain on his back. This was the final straw before he decided to leave. In his escape, one of his older brothers tried to stop him. This fight ended with Tatsumaki killing his brother. He knew it was no longer safe to stay, so he traveled far. He nearly died until a resistance soldier found him not to far from their base. He was saved and to pay them back, he joined the resistance.
