After graduating she was assigned to her father's unit where she quickly rose to the rank of First Lieutenant.
During a combat operation two years ago Charlotte found herself trapped alone behind enemy lines. She panicked and retreated from the field, leaving the rest of the unit to be decimated, including her father. Disgraced, Charlotte was stripped of rank and dishonorably discharged, but not before she called in all the favors she could remember to discretely purchase a mobile suit and have it moved out of federation territory.
Now she serves as an independent mercenary, using her skills to do any jobs that she can find to keep her suit in working condition.
