 ⊰ Drakkar ⊱
Growling in rage, the Dragon whipped his large head back towards the girl. She was strong, very strong. And he didn't like that. Because not only was he opened, but he was also at a disadvantage. Drakkar's back wasn't easy. He'd been attacked in a similar manner. And many of times, he'd only had to resort to bucking off his opponent. But that didn't seem like quite the option at the moment. It seemed more like a childish trick. And he knew for a fact it wouldn't work. So, since his first idea was automatically crossed out, there was the fact that he could fly. But with his leg in such a shape, it'd be hard to do anything. Still, he had to try. All his life he was used and taken advantage of for his power. Humans were disgusting. Chanting that over and over, repeatedly in his skull, the Drake used his remaining legs to toss himself into the air. Using his powerful leather wings, the Drake took flight. But instead of cruising like normal, he took sharp turns, looped in the air, sped up, did anything in his power to loosen her grip. Knowing that it wouldn't be enough, the Drake dove for the sand only to flip onto his back and smother the girl. Because of his wing muscles on his back protruding, she girl would still have air, which wasn't anything he could complain about. The main thing was, the impact had to have cause some damage to her. And he knew this had to be the case, the sand was hard and hot. And with that said, damage to both him and her was dealt. Snarling, the large Drake arose to his remaining claws and began backing away. Which, if anyone hadn't noticed, was difficult with only three legs. snorting, Drakkar cursed and locked eyes with his opponent, desperate to burn her to a crisp. Once again, he let his flames out and attack her. Because of his pain, his aim was almost at random. But it was fine, it left traps of scorching sand all around. One step and it'd burn the girl extremely badly. 'Go home.' Instead of continuing any conversation, the Drake took this chance to examine her work. Scales and his leg were affected. Growling, he felt the rage increase.

As Ayano was drove to the ground by the dragon, she would groan at the pain softly. That had hurt her a bit, but she wasn't ready to give up just yet. She would stand up and look the dragon. Her armor had begin to crack, so she begin to take it off slowly as she talked I'm sorry, but I won't be going anywhere without you. I'm one of those people who don't know when to give up." When all of her armor was off, Ayano was only left wearing a regular t-shirt and shorts. It had been a while since a fight caused her to remove her armor, but it was most certainly needed in this situation. That armor was getting quite heaving anyway."Ayano needed to hurry and finish this fight. The longer she wasted time here, the less time she had to prepare for the games, and she needed a lot of time to prepare as it was. She would stare at the flames as they all missed, but did cause a problem.
Looking all over, she would look at the traps of hot sand all around her, but even so she wasn't going to let this stop her. Dragon nii-sama, I'm not sure what happened in the past that made you hate humans so much, but...." She would say gripping her sword and getting in a offensive stance. "I won't lose here and I will show you that we aren't all the same." She would leap into the air towards the dragon, her sword was towards her side in a piercing motion. She was ready to end this, she had to work fast.

The Drake's balance was hard to control, but he was getting better with time. Dragons were intelligent and often found ways to make their disadvantages to advantages. Backing up, the large Drake opened his mouth and again let his flames attack the girl. Being human, the heat in the desert plus the sand and fire had to have been getting to her. Living in a volcano, the Drake was used to such extreme temperatures and actually hadn't noticed the heat. Scanning the area, the Drake had lost the mage temporarily before catching sight of a glimmering sword. Growling, he managed to stop the mage with a claw, holding her within his grasp. With one swift move, he could swallow her and end the whole battle. However, just as he had opened his mouth to fufill such actions, he was interrupted by the sand under him slowly caving in. Snarling, he struggled to gain his balance with two legs. Thanks to his tail, he barely managed.
However, his grip on the girl had loosened and he had even dropped her. Disgusted in his own mistake, the Drake roared in anger. She was below him. That meant he was in the open. All it took was one scratch. In an attempt to protect himself, the Dragon spewed fire all around, hoping the heat would get to her before she got to him. Backing up yet again, he continued to struggle. She was really annoying. Especially after having removing one of his legs. 'Just go!' The distress in him was clear. He wasn't prepared to be captured at all.

As Ayano would be dropped by the dragon, she would fall to the ground landing on her back. This was getting bad, she was tiring herself out more then usual. She would stick her sword in the ground as she used it for weight to help her stand up. " I already told you that I'm not going anywhere. So you can give up on that." She was becoming dehydrated as this heat was becoming a little too much for, but she wouldn't that stop her. A great mage has to be able to overcome anything that stands in their path. She wasn't ready to give up.
Ayano would dash towards the dragon as he spewed fire everywhere. She managed to dodge it, but a bit of the flames hit her right leg which caused her to tumble over, but she wasn't going to let that stop her. While she was in mid air she slammed her sword into the ground, using it to keep her in the air longer so that she could regain her balance. When she landed on her feet, she quickly pulled the sword from the sand, her right leg was in so much pain, but she had dealt with worse. She continued to dash towards him. As she made it to his under belly, she would go more towards the side with the injured leg, so it would be harder for the dragon to react. "I won't lose." She would say these words as she sliced upwards towards the under belly of the dragon. The way it looked now it was a sure hit, but she knew nothing in life was ever certain.

 ⊰ Drakkar ⊱
The girl was beyond Drakkar's comprehension. Even while injured, and extremely desperate for any water, she continued to fight. Her determination and skill at this point did impress the Drake. But that wasn't enough. She couldn't win. She just couldn't. If she won, that would mean he was weak. He was a Dragon, not some toy that she could use to her every whim. Giving up would mean Drakkar was nothing, or at least, in his eyes. Snarling, fear began to pierce his heart. Not only was he having a hard time keeping up with her, but she was doing marvelous on her own. IF this continued, he would be nothing more than a joke. The only thing that gave him hope was the burns placed on her leg. Perhaps the wound she'd received would match his. But, judging by the movement she continued to display, even after being badly hurt, doubt began to cloud him.
No matter how hard the Drake tried, the girl seemed to overcome anything and everything that he through at her. She couldn't be some mere human. Even if her scent branded her as one. Desperate to win, he roared and stumbled around, trying to throw her off. But she aimed for his new weakness. And soon, he felt something tickle his belly. As he realized what had happened,he froze, letting himself tumble onto his side painfully. She had won. One. Little. Scratch. His cocky attitude got the best of him and now he was nothing more than a pet. 'Detta är slutet...' Exhaling heavily, the Drake closed his eyes and took in everything, trying to wake up from his nightmare. He was a Dragon. Losing to a human was humiliating. Not wanting anything to be real, he laid in the sand, begging for everything to be a nightmare, a very bad nightmare.

As Ayano's blade made contact with the dragon, she would smile as saw her blade make a small scratch, but she had managed to make one. She would follow over, dropping her blade as she looked up towards the sky with a huge smile on her face. This wasn't a easy battle, but she managed to win somehow. She would raise up, as she sat on her bottom and stared at the dragon in the eyes, it would seem as though he wasn't taking this too well. She didn't know that he hated humans this much.
"Excuse me Dragon- Nii Sama, Do you have a name by any chance?" I mean it was only natural that she called the dragon by his name instead of referring to him as Dragon. She would reach for her blade as she pulled the ruby out of it as she looked at the empty slot. It was s good thing that she had an extra ruby that could fit into the slot at her home, so she didn't mind giving this one to the Dragon. Grasping the ruby in her hand, she would open her palm and extend her hand as she offered the ruby to the dragon " I did say you could have this as a sign of our friendship, so please take it."

 ⊰ Drakkar ⊱
Lifting his head off the sand, the Drake stared at the human girl, carefully analyzing. The aura surrounding her hadn't seemed like she was one to lie about some thing such as her offering of 'friendship'. However, his pride seemed to be damaged greatly and he had no interest in even being alive at the moment. Perhaps he was overreacting. But unless one was in his position, they'd never understand. The first thing people think of when they hear Dragon is power, strength, dangerous. Not tamable, weak and not exactly friendly. So being beaten and made to make a contract wasn't exactly good for him, or the appearance of dragons. Still, he did make a bet. And even though he despised humans more than anything, he wasn't one to lie. It wasn't until the girl had held out the Ruby that he remembered she carried such a gorgeous jewel. Shock overcame the Drake as she offered it to him. Earlier when she had promised to hand it over to him had she won, he had no faith that she'd actually do such a thing. But seeing her hold it out, using it as a friendship offering, blew his mind. It was so outrageous and odd, that the Drake broke into a fit of laughter. After he had calmed down, he'd move his head close enough to be within arms length of the girl. She sure was an odd one. She could call him pet or whatever, but she chose friend. Perhaps his view on humans was a little unfair. Still, could anyone blame him? Shaking any negative thoughts away, he let his reptilian tongue slide out and wrap around the girls hand, shaking her hand while taking the gem back into his mouth once he pulled away. Again, he stored the gem alone with the many others he had collected in a pouch. Staring at the girl, he hesitated before replying to her. 'They call me Drakkar.' With a more pleasant tone, he let his gaze soften, even just a little. She had proven her worth. And no matter how disgusting humans were, he lost and he couldn't deny that. But since she offered friendship over ownership, his view on humans upgraded. They were merely loathsome in his now. 'You won. I'll acknowledge your strength. My power is now your power.' the words spoke were some of the few he never thought'd he ever use. At least, no within the next millennium.

Ayano could only smile as the Drakkar took the ruby from her hand. It was nice to see him not being hostile towards her and made her feel welcomed. She would listen as he told her his name, they were off to good a good start "Drakkar...I see" She would stand up on injured leg as she smiled and begin to talk '"My name is Ayano and I'm part of the Jinjuriki guild. That is the place I call home. We are quite weird though..well compared to other guilds we are quite the odd bunch, but we are strong. That's why we will win the Magic Games." She wasn't sure if Drakkar had ever heard of that, but since he was around for quite some time there was a chance that he could have. She would fall back on her butt as she would talk some more "At my current level, I can compete at an average level at the games, but I want to be better then average. I want to be the best. I'm going to train really hard so that people acknowledge me. That's all that I wish for." Ayano somehow felt comfortable around Drakkar and didn't mind sharing her thoughts with him.

Listening quietly, the Drake understood everything of which the human had said. Even up to the Magic Games. It was surprising to hear about them. They'd been around for awhile, though went by different rules. He remembered a time when killing was allowed. Snorting at the memory, he sat up, crossed his claws and laid next to the human, much like a feline. As soon as she talk about her power being low, he growled, glaring at her. 'Average? Has humanity really begun to surpass the ancients? Preposterous! I'll admit that you have remarkable skill, but hearing that others have the same power stings. Humans cannot surpass Dragons. That's the way it's always been, that's how it'll remain. I shall lend you my power to train. However, never doubt your power. You managed to befriend a Drake. Don't take that lightly, Dumskalle.'
Glancing at the injury he had caused the girl, his eyes light up, at least he had caused some damage during the battle. Then again, looking back at his leg, he mentally sighed, shaking his large head in disappointment. If the girl wanted to train, it would be best to start soon. And with that in mind, he turned back to her and tilted his head to the sky, suggesting they leave to begin.

Ayano would nod as she listened to the words of the Dragon, there was no doubt that he was very wise and very powerful. "You are right. I lost my train of thought there. I should never doubt myself, that could easily lead to defeat. I would also appreciate your power to help me train, it will be a great preparation for the magic games." Ayano would stand up as she would smile towards the dragon, putting her sword back on her back. "I'm ready to start whenever you are. We can train in whatever place you like." It would be able for Drakkar to pick the place since he was basically training Ayano.

As he continued to lay in the sand, the Drake reached out a claw and gently picked up the human before allowing her the climb onto his large, horned head. She'd be able to sit tightly on his head as he flew to their destination. For a minute, he hesitated. If she wanted to train, a good place would be within the storming skies, specifically in the mountains. Not only was the gravity level changed, but the temperature, and density of the air would be different. Thus, making training not only hard, but very rewarding when done properly. Although he disliked the cold mountains, he could manage to thrive in them for quiet awhile. Especially if he were to be training the young mage. Using his flames, he could easily heat up anything as long as he wished. And besides, in the mountains, it'd be perfect for the mage. It'd be high up, and even if he were to catch her had she fallen, the adrenaline would definitely fill the human's veins, bringing out even more power within her.
Rising to his claws, Drakkar stretched out his wings, their leathery web catching air right away. As he jumped into the air, he began to beat his wings, disturbing the sand below. 'I suggest holding on.' As he lifted himself higher and higher into the air, he batted his wings harder, increasing speed. With his large wingspan, he'd be able to get them into the mountains within an hour or so, saving them lots of time had they traveled by foot. As he flew, the Drake let out another loud cry, picking up speed.

Ayano would sit on top of the head of dragon as she would grab on tight as the two of them headed off. She wasn't quite sure where they were going, but she knew it would be a great place to train. It would be a little while before she could see her friends again, but it would be worth it when she returned home with her power in a entire different class. Not a lot of people can say they were trained by Dragons, but this was one thing that Ayano was now proud to be able to say in the near future as she looked up towards sky, waiting for them to reach their destination.
