The crowd was silent, the arena was pretty full, yet the ring was alone. They were waiting for something to happen, something exciting, entertaining, anything. They couldn't wait to see what TNWF had in store for them...
All of a sudden, the lights dimmed, the crowd started to cheer, they didn't know who or what was going to come out. The majority thought it was another promo from the Undertaker. 10 seconds later, a giant [R] came on the titantron, and the words "You think you know me" after the R. Then came Metalingus by Alter Bridge, Edge's theme song. The lights started to blink rapidly as the music was heard throughout the whole arena. Smoke rose from the mouth of the ramp, people expected Edge to walk through the smoke like always. The crowd was already cheering "Edge! Edge! Edge" at the top of their lungs. They missed him, they hadn't seen him in a long time. 30 seconds later, Edge's music was still playing and smoke was still rising, but.. no Edge. Was it a legitimate promo or just a hoax?............

......... He decided to stop making them wait. Near the stage, a black Ford Mustang with red stripes drove out. It was brand new, as if it just left the factory. The crowd cheered when they saw that car. The car had Edge's signture [R] on the middle of the hood, between the bright red stripes. Edge drove the car onto the ramp. He parked it, turned it off and eagerly opened the door. He stepped out with a grin on his face. Edge had a Rated-R shirt, leather pants, Converse shoes, and black shades on his face. He closed the car's door and headed for the ring. He looked around the arena as he was being cheered by his fans. He walked fast and slid in the ring. He sprung up and looked around. He smiled and caught a microphone an official gave to him. He waited for the crowd to quiet down. He was eager to tell the crowd his future plans, and this was the night to tell them. After the noise died down, Edge slid his hair back as he rose the microphone to his mouth. What could the announcement be?...

"Now, for the last few months.." Words came out from Edge's mouth, as he talked in a quite serious tone. "For the last few months I had promised you, the TNWF Universe, a match. A single match. Now, the reason I haven't competed... The reason I haven't given you fans a match... Is because I was saving this match for a certain event. An event so big, it almost beats TNWF's most important event, Wrestlemania. Maybe some of you know which event I'm speaking of. If you don't, then I should let you know: Summer Slam!" The crowd was getting hyped. "I guaran-damn-tee you, TNWF Universe, you'll see me there. So bookers, General Managers, Vince, go ahead and book THE RATED-R SUPERSTAR in the Summer's biggest party, I'm ready to take on anything, I'm ready to give all you people the best damn show of your life!" Edge dropped the microphone and rolled out. The crowd cheered as he got in his car and his music played. Edge reversed his way out of the arena and left, driving at 100 mph once he left the building.
