Reguardless of what may be being said publicly by Rice herself in interviews, she has taken on an aid (her name escapes me at the moment), whom is known for grooming cadidates.
I also assume that this may be a "just in case" move. There are other Republican possibilities, and she just may be another horse in the stable.
As for the Democrats... They must take and hold the middle ground. Liberal Demos will vote for her, even if they don't like her... that voter group is a lock. But the elections are decided by the "squishy" middle, and their votes are whom the polititians fight for. Hence, Hilary's move toward the middle. She's gambling that most middle ground voters are too stupid or lazy to check out her liberal voting record.

i think that hillary could make it through the primaries. I dont think that she will get enough votes to win though. her liberal extremity is a major turn-off on the part of the independent voters. Condi has specifically said that she will not run. I think that newt gingrich or rudy guliani will run. i would vote for either. Rudy is more of a people person and newt seems to be much more of a poitician. if in the unlikely state that condi does run i think that she would make a great pres.

Well, if Hilary does get to the primaries, my best guess of why, would be because Clinton wants a home again! blaugh

I wish Condoleeza Rice would run, but I doubt it. I heard that John McCain and Rudy Guliani will try to run. It will be nice if Guliani wins. If he can pull together New York City after 9/11, he can pull together a country.
If Clinton runs and wins(I pray not!), I'm gonna move to London.

I doubt many democrats themselves will vote for Hillary Rob 'Em. My vote would definately go to Condee (if she runs which she should). biggrin

OneTinSoldier Will Hitlery... er, Hilary make a run in '08? She's pulling her lefty self toward the middle... this can only mean one thing. She's gonna run for it! At the same time, Condolezza is being groomed as well. She is being moved around to the various major positions. Makes for an impressive resume. So wadda ya think? Will we get our first "Presidente le femme?" And what about the the idea of a... a "First Man?" -ots Bill being a first man would be hillarious.
I would love it if Condolezza ran, it would be awesome if she won! The first black, and women president.
