Jedi/sith guardian academy student:
1 point in shii-cho
knowledge of force push, pull and jump, but no points in the skills.
jedi: a training lightsaber: can only deal stamina damage
sith: a vibrosword that deals either 1/2 health damage or stamina damage
You can request special weapons as a sith (guard shoto, bladed staff, etc). As a Jedi youngling, this is not an option, however there is much less chance of dying in training.
Jedi/sith consular academy student:
1 point in shii-cho
knowledge of force sense, shield and telekinesis, but no points in the skills.
