There was a flash of green sparks as Herald turned back to his human form. "Nothing," he told Emma. "Yeah, yeah. I know," Texas was busy telling Mirai. "Well, we'll train and become stronger. After all, losing is just a way of teaching you your own weaknesses right?" He gave her a grin. "So we learn from it." Eric nodded at Dara. "Yeah, I suppose so..." he told her before walking towards Herald. "Well, I hope you're happy now," he told him, hands on his hips. "Though of course, without me your plan ended up collapsing your little building, getting Atticus taken away and several of us almost dying. How about you just leave the planning of things to me next time?" Herald gave Eric a dark look. "You were the one who was oblivious enough to get shot in the back by a kishin," he replied. "Yeah, I was busy trying to clean up the mess you made with Atticus and the team. Was that really your best idea to exchange bodies? Hide until you'd completed it and then just walk out past the rest of us? Doofus." Herald turned and walked towards Eric, sticking his face in his. "I didn't see YOU do any planning! Oh yeah, that's right, you were too busy laying face-down on the ground because you couldn't handle our separation!" "That's because YOU didn't know how to do it properly! Pulling our souls apart like we're laffy-taffy or something! You could have thought that one out better too!" "What makes you think I minded pulling you apart!?" "Oh, so you expect me to believe you made it extremely painful because you found it funny!? Oh yeah, I suppose that does make sense! You are pretty easily amused aren't you!?" "The only thing that amused me was how big a wuss you were! I didn't realize I had to be so gentle with poor little Eric!" "There's a difference between doing something roughly and tearing something apart like a dumb animal! I could have done it better if I was blind and half-retarded!" As it continued, her lips began twitching as she tried not to smile or snicker. Eventually that failed and she began laughing.
Mirai nodded towards Texas before hearing Eric and Harold argue "Does this make Harold and Eric brothers technically now? They sure are acting like it..." she asked as she observed them.
Shira only nodded in response as she had her attention towards the two now.

Dara glowered at Eric and Herold before grabbing one of each's ear and pulling them down to her level. "You two are not fighting right now! Herold, all of us know that you are the brawn of the duo, so stop acting like you know everything! And Eric, did you really expect him to know how to correctly separate your souls?! Now both of you are going to apologize to each other before I get to three! One....two......" Yes, she sounded like their mother, but she had to or else this would happen.

Both Herald and Eric winced as Dara pulled their ears and then simultaneously pulled themselves out of her grip as if they were both working with one mind again. "I don't think so," Herald growled as he walked back to Emma. Eric looked towards Dara as he rubbed his ear. "Geez, no need to be so violent Dara," he told her. Texas looked back at Mirai. "Well, if we're done here, I'm ready to go home," he told her. Eric looked at the rest of them, his expression suddenly turning serious. "Yeah. And we need to come up with a plan to rescue Atticus," he told them, lowering his hand from his ear. "As soon as possible." He looked back towards Dara and took her hand, nodding at her. "Let's go home," he told her confidently. "We have work to do." He looked back at the others as he walked away. "I'll let you guys know if I come up with something. You guys do the same." Texas gave a quick nod and looked back at Mirai. "Are you strong enough to make a portal back to your place?" He asked her hopefully. "I really don't want to walk all the way back." Herald looked at Emma. "Emma, would you come with me? There's...something else I'd like to discuss with you..." Will I be bound in chains...

Alright..." she said with a nod.
Shira looked at Eric and Dara "I will also be trying to come up with a plan. If you guys hear anything call me. I may be a bit difficult to locate for a little while... I have some things that need to be done." she said.
Mirai grinned towards Texas "I am on a roll. I can do multiple portals." she said. "Give me a moment though..." she said as she pulled out a small piece of calk and began working on multiple portals. "One for my home, one for Dara's, Michi's, and one for Shira's." she muttered.

Dara glared, but said nothing as Herald walked away. She allowed Eric to grab her hand and they started walking. She smiled at how cute Herald and Emma looked, but alas she had to ruin their moment. "Herald and Emma, I expect you two to be at the house for dinner." Dara looked at Eric as he rubbed his ear. Wanting to make fun of him a little she asked, "Do you want me to kiss your boo boo ear?"

I have something else in mind. All five people in that house is a bit too crowded anyway." With that he walked off, heading in the opposite direction from Death City. Texas waited patiently for Mirai to open the portal, stepping through it as soon as it was ready. Eric looked over at Dara with a grin as they walked into the portal. "Not my ear," he told her as he put an arm around her. Texas Exit to Charlotte's DimensionEric Exit to Black Star and Tsubaki's HouseHerald Exit to Tri Mountains Will I be bound in chains... MISSION COMPLETE! Post-Mission Report:Summary: With Herald having regained his own body and the Team having swayed him to rejoin their side, the group remains intact. Atticus was taken and his situation is unknown, but everyone has gotten through the mission alive; Texas and Eric have been reunited with their partners while Herald has achieved the status of a full Kishin. Rewards:Eric hunter: EarnedRequirements: Atticus makes the decision to save Eric's life. Texas: Earned Requirements: Emma convinces Herald to spare Texas's life. Herald: Earned Requirements: The group convinces Herald to rejoin them.

Dara smiled at Emma and waved, nodding at her response. She waved goodbye to everyone else and snuggled into Eric's embrace as they went through the portal. "Oh really now? Then what do you want me to kiss?"

"Okay, I have nooo idea what just happened here but I'm pretty sure I want to take an incredibly long, long break from doing any mission. At all. My system is fried." Aislin said. She was relieved that the whole ordeal was done and dealt with. She didn't think she could stand another moment of it. With only one thing on her mind, she began to head back home.
