Personality:
- Mature and confident, Kushina acts with excellent leadership skills. Sometimes she acts with a stiff decorum, but she knows that there is a time to be serious, and a time to mess around. Though calm and collected, she has a short temper that usually leads to physical violence. Never one for being subtle, she speaks her mind when she agrees or disagrees with something. She can be passionate to a fault, and this often leads to her wondering whether she made a right decision or not. Nevertheless, she always takes the responsibility for herself, and chooses to live with the consequences of her actions. Sometimes Kushina will show herself to be cold and detached, due to compartmentalizing with reality and her job.
Around other people, Kushina is witty and sly, going out of her way to tease others. Charming and charismatic, she shares close bonds with her friends and comrades. Being the former Captain of the Second Division, she was updated on the happenings around Soul Society before anyone else. Her sources are far and wide, and there are few things about social happenings she doesn't know about. Due to this, she is prone to blackmailing people and gossiping. Of course, after defecting, she has used this knowledge to her advantage. Even though she is curious, she knows when to give people their privacy, and will never step over boundaries out of respect. When having time off, she is known to notoriously gamble in the World of the Living, or have a few drinks too many. Her work personality and her every day personality are starkly different, even going as far as being bi-polar, as a part of her compartmentalization.

Background:
- Kushina was born into the Tsukuda noble family. The family was strictly militaristic and Shiki was taught the ways of the Shinigami and how to fight at an extremely young age. She was a natural Shinigami prodigy, having several useful talents. A natural born leader, she outclassed many of the older and more experienced Shinigami in Zanjutsu, Hakuda and Hohō. Not only was she an expert in all the aspects of the Shinigami, but was also disciplined, tactical, strong, loyal and a quick learner. Her parents would only let the best raise their daughter. And Kushina did, indeed, deliver everything and more of their expectations. But her parents had plans that differed from her's. They wanted her to become the idealistic soldier that lead the Kiyomizu family. A person that stirred souls, lead legions, impassioned people, instilled fighting spirit. A soldier she was, that would follow any order from her superiors, but her life wasn't some kind of footsoldier enslaved in the army. Her life was her own, and not even her parents could give orders about her future. As any teenager would, she rebelled and joined Shinō Academy without her parent's permission. It was only a rebellious symbol, saying that she would become the next Head of the Tsukuda family, but she would only do it on her terms. If her parents fought her terms, she would graduate from Shinō Academy and join the Gotei 13, in which her parents would have to find another head for the Tsukuda family. However, if they agreed to her terms, she would drop out of the academy and nobly lead the family while still attaining her freedom. Her parents finally consented to her terms and life went on.
Years later, no longer was she the young prodigy, but a grown soldier. Now the Head of the Tsukuda family, her parents no longer bothered with her. They were much too busy running the affairs of the family, and with Kushina fully grown, she no longer needed their attention anymore, now that she was independent. With her newly found freedom, Kushina began going beyond her boundaries. All her life, she had known nothing but the militaristic atmosphere. There were so many things in life that she had never known or seen before. Eventually, she took up an interest in the mercenary business. Keeping it a secret from her parents, she traveled the world doing odd jobs for people who needed a hired sword. Whilst traveling abroad, she learned new skills that were foreign to what she had learned in the Soul Society. She would later use these skills to create a sword style that was unique to her.
After both her parents passed away, Kushina took it upon herself to join the Gotei 13. The life of a noble wasn't for her, and she felt that her skills would be put to better use helping the Shinigami of the Seireitei. She was granted a position in the Second Division as the Lieutenant. During this time, she earned her famed reputation during a hollow invasion of the Soul Society. When a large group of hollows attacked the Rukongai during a patrol, Kushina took the initiative and drove their forces back into the World of the Living, where they were eradicated by her Division. The feat proved her innate prowess as a Shinigami, and she was soon given high honors as an Second Division member. Years later, she would finally achieve Bankai and earn the title of Captain of the Second Division. With her current position, she has restructured the Second Division into a more efficient squad for the Gotei. Kushina has concentrated more on teamwork within Division, as well as other Divisions. Her success lead her to become a well respected Captain of the Gotei.
After a decade of service as the Captain of the Second Division, Kushina was invited to join the Royal Guard, but she initially refused. To her, she loved the Second Division and wouldn't dream of abandoning her comrades and friends. Naturally, the Soul King took no offense and allowed her to make her decision. However, after the Onmitsukido was integrated into the Second Division, she would later change her mind and be initiated into the Royal Guard. With her new duties, Kushina took it upon herself to eliminate the rising number of Menos in the World of the Living. She did a wonderful job, living up to the expectations of the Soul King. During a particular mission, Kushina furthered her reputation by leading a blitzkrieg attack that wiped out an entire battalion of Menos. This would earn her the title of being "The Desert Fox", for her tactical skills of desert warfare with her Zanpakutō.
Years later, she launched a second campaign in the Soul Society. The mission involved exterminating Menos Grande from the eastern Rukon Districts, where souls were dying one after the other. The Second Division was performing admirably, when a large Garganta ripped through the Rukon District and overrode her forces. On that day, Kushina lost eighty percent of her Division. In anger, she unleashed her Bankai, inadverently destroying a portion of the sekkiseki stone that surrounded the Seireitei. The Menos were able to get into the Seireitei without much difficulty. However, before the circumstances could escalate, the Gotei finished taking care of the remaining Menos, rendering the Seireitei safe. When all was said and done, Kushina was branded a traitor for destroying the sekkiseki wall and allowing Menos to breach it. When she was judged by the Soul King himself, she attacked him in anger, inadvertently stealing some of his essence. Before she knew what was happening, her untapped powers created a space rift, in which she fell into and landed in Euthoria. Thus, she escaped punishment, and accidentally found her new goal in life.
While in Euthoria, Kushina realized that she had accidentally transcended space and time to land in this new world. Here, she found the mysterious force that was the Hourglass. Tapping into its powers, she became the first Time Rogue, deciding to use its power to create a new world where no one died. A fleeting dream, at best, but the deaths of her subordinates had struck her hard. By gathering an army and creating more Time Rogues by sharing her powers with other people that had defected from the Soul Society. After gathering the necessary sacrifices Kushina activated the transdimensional vortex, waging war on the Soul Society. The result would be the Great Ash War, where the rogues were sealed with the last actions of the Captains. In reality, the past 300 years, Kushina was merely regenerating her strength before breaking free of the seal with her time dimensional powers. Now operating in secrecy, Kushina plans to recreate her dream again, whether it means another war or not.

Description:
- Nogitsune is a melee type Jikan that controls sand and shockwaves. By combining these two forces, it allows the user a whole slew of hand-to-hand combat, as well as battlefield manipulation. Throughout the duration of Jikan, the end of the user's scarf trickles out sand like an hourglass.
Abilities:
- ➟ Sand Manipulation - This ability allows the user to create and manipulate sand. Over large areas, the sand is virtually useless, serving only to blind foes. In condensed forms, the sand can be shaped to form cutting blades, tornadoes, sandwaves, sandstorms, etc. The only sand that can be manipulated is the sand that comes from the user's scarf. Foreign sand is virtually useless, though it does give her a slight advantage. Her manipulative sand can use the battlefield sand to add volume to the larger mass, letting her utilize it in the midst of battle.
➟ Shockwave Manipulation - This ability allows the user to manipulate shockwaves. These waves have several different abilities and uses, broken down and explained in the sub sections below.
Offensive Ability - The user's shockwaves have a high offensive capability. They can cause a large amount of destruction over a wide area by using pure physical force, though its maximum range cannot exceed a fifty feet radius. However, as with all dispersing waves, the shockwave decreases in power as it expands out from its focal point. Its properties are most destructive at its focal point, and gets weaker as it expands out. Smaller shockwaves tend to have more power while sacrificing range, while larger shockwaves have more range while sacrificing power. These shockwaves have a high propulsion rate, are capable of having a cutting edge, and greatly increases the power capabilities of the user's attacks. Depending on the user, the shockwave's strength can either range from a simple propulsive force, or a highly destructive explosion. Combining this ability with her sand manipulation, Kushina is able to send powerful bullets of sand towards her opponent, or even turn the battlefield into quicksand.
Defensive Ability - By condensing the user's shockwaves, the user is able to create a shield of sorts. On contact with the condensed shockwave, the user can push away attacks by using its propulsive attribute. This is also effective in ricocheting attacks, or directing them in a different direction. However, a stronger force, greater than the propulsion rate, is able to break the condensed wave with ease. However, combined with her sand manipulation, she can create large shields of reinforced sand to block or mitigate damage.
Phasing Ability - As described in the previous abilities, the user's shockwaves have the ability of propulsion. By using a variant of this ability, the user can use these shockwaves to "phase" objects, or the user themselves. By centering a shockwave around the object's focal point through touch, the user may shift the object to a selected location within the shockwave, faster than the eye can follow. This is in similarity to teleportation, though the user leaves behind an afterimage of the phased object. This is highly effective for sneak attacks and skewing the opponent's vision. Creatively manipulating sand with this technique, she can quickly phase spears of sand at her opponent(s), resulting in omnidirectional attacks at lightning fast speeds.

- Once the Hourglass is activated, the user gains the ability of their Pure State, or the Bankai of the Time Rogues. The user's Bankai embodies Rage, signifying a tenfold increase in physical power and form. The user itself, turns into a humanoid fox, covered with black armor. In this form, large amounts of reiatsu are expelled from the user, granting a large boost in attack. While in this form, the user gains an ultimate control of the sand around them, as well as being able to use all Jikan abilities. This form cannot be held for longer than twenty user posts.

- ➟ Sand Manipulation v2.0 - An enhanced version of the user's previous sand manipulation, the user can now create sand at a much quicker rate, literally pulling it out of thin air. Due to a lack of weaponry in the user's form, weapon creation via condensed sand is possible, as well as having a broad range of crafting ability. Unlike Jikan, the user can now also control external sand around the battlefield, excluding any opponent sand-based attacks.
