So I need a bit more practice with human art and I wanted to make a thread where I'll be taking suggestions for species. At the very least I'll sketch a few, but if I have the time ( I do have RLC's to do ) I will line them for the shop. So post suggestions here and I'll review them and see what I can do! Or if you want something re-drawn you can post that too I guess? I'm not picky.Concepts I'll be toying with:1.) Dragons - Seke WIP Eastern Dragon Concept2.) Insects - Wasp Concept3.) Sharks / Octopi - Alternate Merman4.) Crows/birds 5.) Bats 6.) Centaur 7.) Griffins 8.) Manticore

Brainstorming...
Dogs (we have foxes and wolves but no dogs)
Moth/butterfly/insects Segmented bodies might be difficult but fun.
Any reptiles. We have raptors but what about geckos, iguanas, anoles. Or t-rexes for that matter? Turtles.
Something aquatic besides mermen. Something more streamlined, like tuna or shark. Whales/dolphins (their tails are completely different than fish)
Creatures from myth (we have angels, demons, unicorns, and phoenixes already) Dragons and centaurs have been mentioned Most hybrids could easily pass for something chimeric so this might be tricky.
Hope this helps a bit. :3

We have rats, which don't really seem to be very popular. I reckon they'd have been a more popular species if they'd have been called mice instead.
We have squirrels too, but they were only brought in right before the shop died =(
But! We should have badgers and dinosaurs. Definitely something water based, frogs/toads maybe? Dolphin and sharks would be fun too.
I'd love a centaur too. Deer? Scorpions.. bison/bulls, boars?

A lot of the reasons some breeds aren't popular is because there isn't much in the way of lineart for them. With Squirrels and Rats, there's only like two or three different lines.
I'm currently, between jobs and s**t that just has got to be finished, working on expanding those lines

What if we did Griffins? Like a base from the top of the back up to kind of show they have the body of it?
Or spiders? Spiders would be cool. Kind of hard but cool xD Snakes would be cool too

I like the idea of Griffins, and Spiders would be under the insects idea that's already on the board. heart

Dementia Requiem Asumi I'm going to pass on the wasp idea. *shudders* Maybe it's just me, but damn those buggers are creepy bugs I don't like them either, to be honest. They creep me too and I often times run screaming from them, but there was this one in the camper that week that was just chilling there so I took the chance and doodled something based off of him. I was thinking of doodling up a Sand Wasp concept, far less Wasp like, more like a cross between a wasp and a moth. At least the ones up there were, they were lovely and this amazing blue and green color. It was cool. I'm sure I can toss out a few more less intimidating and alien concepts if it's a big turn off. I honestly want to do a cute chubby moth boy, but I've been looking around and all the boys here are super thin and muscular, would there be interest in anything with a bit of pudge or should I go another way with it?

Chubby moth would be nice.
I'm still not a huge fan of anything wasp. But that's just me. Some people may very well like the concept of having wasps around. Maybe we could make a chubby variation on wasps and make bumble bees. Those aren't quite as scary o.o;;
