Physical Appearance: Aiden's hair is a very pale platinum blond and falls down under her breasts in elegant waves. Her skin is very pale and yet she doesn't burn or tan under the sun. Her right eye is a rich brown colour while her left eye is like a faded brown, which a lot of people find very strange and haunting when they see it. She also normally leaves her hair to fall down over the left side of her face, hiding the cracked peeling red-ish skin underneath. The skin condition is not only present on the left side of her face but also on her right hand and forearm and on the outer side of her left thigh. Because of this she always wears a glove on her left hand and something that covers the deformed skin, long sleeves even in the middle of summer. It's not so much she is bothered if other people see it, but the fact that the skin is highly sensitive especially to water and the sun. Though she loves pretty dresses her mom wears, Aiden prefers to wear clothing that are easier to move around in. She will often wearing pants and shirts that are embroidered with lace and designed in a pretty, feminine way, if not she'll wear short dresses with pants underneath.
Personality: Aiden appears to be kind, confident and headstrong, and very firm in her beliefs of justice and equality- despite saying so, she too has prejudices and biases against Engineers, even though most are unintentional on her part. It's a bit hard just to magically get rid of a life-time's worth of social conditioning, and it's not like she's ever actually met an Engineer before, being all cooped up in the mansion.
However whenever working as an Alchemist, her expressions become dull and emotionless and her movements are mechanical. Her confident, outgoing and seemingly optimistic personality is just facade to a rather chaotic and disturbed interior filled with hatred, frustration as well as self-loathing and despair. Though Aiden is mostly doing pretty well at hiding this, especially recently, her 'old demons' might still come around the corner to haunt her here and there.
Flaws: Aside from seeming rather ignorant and naive, Aiden is very self-righteous. She has a lot of issues with people who openly disagree with her ideals and will try to change their mind some sort of convoluted roundabout argument, simply ignore them, or even lash out at them violently.
A lot of her justice and optimism bravado is simply to hide her inner insecurities, making her quite a hypocrite in that sense. Mentioning this could basically make her blind with rage, and even cause her to have emotional breakdowns afterwards (although this she'll usually deal with by herself, somewhere private as she doesn't want anyone to see her weakness).
Deep in her heart, even Aiden feels that half the things she says is basically bullshit. But Aiden feels that if she can't keep this over idealized and optimistic outlook then she will lose her will to live, which drives her into a sort of forced denial on her own part.
Back Story: Her life should have been fairy tale perfect. Both her parents were extremely talented Alchemists from influential families. She was lovely kind and beautiful as a child, and had a promising potential for Alchemy starting at a young age.
Things started spiraling down to hell when Aiden's father simply vanished one day when Aiden was 7, leaving both Rivien and Aiden to fend for themselves. Rivien drowned herself in her work, neglecting Aiden even more than she did before. Constantly bugging her mother for attention, Rivien eventually deemed Aiden a nuisance and sent her away to live with other family.
Though she hated the idea at first, moving in with her Aunt and Uncle was probably the best thing that happened in Aiden's life. Loving and kind, they gave her back the family that Aiden felt she had lost. Though she still missed her own Papa and Mama, she was happy for the love she received from her aunty and uncle.
The blissful years of happiness came to an end at the of 14, where suddenly, Rivien came to reclaim her daughter. At first Aiden was overjoyed to finally receive the love and affection of her mother. But when she returned home, the only time Rivien ever paid attention to her and was kind to her was when she gave these strange potions to drink. At first she took them without question, hoping not to disappoint her mother. But as the side effects got more and more intense, Aiden became fearful at them. She also became generally confused at why her mother would do such a thing. She became angry, at Alchemy itself instead of her dear mother, and even at herself as if she had some sort of defect. The paleness of her skin and hair, her cracking skin condition and pale eye are all results from drinking those odd potions.
During that time of her life, Aiden was forced to remain in the house. Learning from a kind home tutor, she became fascinated with all the things in the City she had never seen or heard about before. This was also the time her mother became the newly appointed Head of the Academy, though this was of little concern to Aiden. Her distaste towards alchemy along with her newly forming over idealized ideology grew, Aiden's new goal was to become a policewoman. Though she had managed to orchestrate complicated and risky plans to submit an application several times, they had been rejected because she wasn't yet of age. Finally at the dawn of her 18th birthday, she managed to sneak out of the house and she was admitted to do the Police entrance exam. Unfortunately, she failed, both the written exam and the physical exam. Of course her dreams of becoming a strong policewoman hasn't been dashed yet! She will do her best to train her body and mind and next year she'll definitely try again.
Talents and Skills: If being tone-deaf could be considered a talent... Though Aiden is colour blind in her pale eye, that eye is also able to reflect light, allowing her an animal's night vision in that single eye. She's quite skilled and knowledgeable in alchemy, and is familiar with various fields of alchemy outside of just botanical and medical. Despite her mother's neglect, the woman at least bothered to make sure Aiden received the highest education, nothing less.
Research: Like her mother, Aiden excels at botanical and medical alchemy. She received her licence pretty early and is currently she is serving an apprenticeship to become an alchemist doctor, specializing in curing potions. She feels that she can sort of tolerate this job as it's to help people, despite her general distaste for alchemy.
Hobbies: Singing (Don't let her do it near you though, she sucks.), reading adventure books, going on adventures, exploring places she hasn't been to before, daydreaming

Dislikes: Alchemy, people who thinks she's younger than she is, being treated like a child in general, being ignored, doing chores
