I'm going to go ahead and save time by not addressing the more obvious entries.
User-name: Posting: How often do you hope to post, and at what time of day? Time zone:
~Character Data~
Name: Race: Age: Gender: Home planet:
Alignment: all points will be kept here. It is entirely possible to have 1000 light side points and 10000 dark side points At the same time. Everyone starts with 50 points in one and 100 in the other, or 75 in each. The only exceptions are master level characters created, but those are special circumstances. Light: Dark:
Class: Rank:
~Appearance~
Height: Weight: Hair: Eyes: Physical Description: Clothing: Background: Personality: Other:
Missions/achievements: A list of the level and type of notable events in your character's life. Missions, mistakes and their outcomes are to be listed. Even a small slip into the darkside or a single botched smuggling run should be kept track of.
S:
A:
B:
C:
D:
Techniques:
Martial Techniques-
Force Techniques-
Tech Techniques- Special abilities of cybernetics or equipment with special uses. A blaster rifle would not go here, but a character who possessed a cybernetic hand that could should blaster fire would.
~Stats~ Health: Stamina: Attunement: This is the measure of the Force that is flowing through you at any given moment. The number that goes here in your character sheet is your base level of attunement, or the amount you can conjure at any point that you are simply walking down the street.
Strength: A measure of your physical (melee) skill. Not merely the bulk of your muscles, but their utility. Dexterity: A measure of your movement and ranged combat ability Constitution: Your health and endurance. Intelligence: Not merely booksmarts, but your skills interacting with technology and your streetsmarts. Willpower: Your strength of will and your knowledge of your own limits as well as when to push them. Charisma: Used for (non-force) persuasion and bargaining. Your people skills. Midi-Chlorian: Your midi-chlorian count. By no means a measure of your maximum potential with the Force, but rather your random starting amount of power with the Force. Two younglings on their first day of training with midi-chlorian counts of 5,000 per cell and 15,000 per cell will be drastically different in power, but upon achieving knighthood, their powers may well be equal or reversed as they shaped their own training.
~Possessions~
Equipment:
Items useful in combat or for a utility. Slicing tools or a blaster would fall here.
Valuables
items that are not normally useful, but are neither in themselves money. A locket with a picture of your family or a crate of spice would fall into this category.

~Stats~ Health: equals [0 + constitution] Stamina: equals [0+ str/dex (whichever is higher)] Attunement: equals ([midi-chlorian count] / 1000) + willpower
All stats start at zero. You are allotted seven points to assign, and beyond that, you can subtract points from stats to get more points. For instance, if your character wouldn't particularly value strength, you might subtract two points to add two to intelligence. No stat may exceed 4 in either direction at creation, and ± 3 is considered the limit of normal human variance. -4 intelligence is effectively a coma patient (that won't ever wake up), while +4 strength is more physically fit than the best non-steroid-using athlete on Earth, beyond all the normal physical limits of a human being.
one stat point can influence your midi-chlorian count by 1000, to a minimum of 1000 midi-chlorians per cell, or up to 3000 in either direction from the base number you started with. (Just because you are not a force-user does not mean that a high midi-chlorian count is not desirable. It makes you more resistant to jedi tricks, and can drastically affect your luck and instinct.
To determine your base midi-chlorian count, you roll 2d20 in the midi-chlorian announcement topic, along with the name of the character. You only get to keep one of the rolls, and keep in mind that deleted posts are kept in an archived list. Cheating will be punished, even if it's a moderator. Take the roll and multiply it by one thousand for your midi-chlorian count.
A midi-chlorian count below 3,000 points to someone who is probably not force sensitive. 2000 and below means that you cannot access the force at all. There are few creatures in the galaxy that have no midi-chlorians at all.

~Affinity~
Please note that every character can have one specialty technique that gains one point in it, and gains double the rate of the normal posts to train --Basically, every post you make counts as two posts--. This must be a technique that they would normally be able to learn, and cannot be a restricted ability. (Jedi or Sith cannot choose vaapaad or something like that). This represents your character's natural ability; just like in life, there is usually one thing that you are inexplicably good at. This does not mean that your character knows that they have this ability, but it generally coincides with their personality.
Anakin Skywalker had an affinity for piloting, and it reflected in his natural propensity for making quick decisions, whether for better or for worse.
Obi-wan Kenobi had an affinity for soresu, and it reflected in his ability to calmly react to any situation without losing his head. He did not discover this affinity until he was so nearly defeated by Darth Maul.
Palpatine had an affinity for Sith Alchemy, Mace Windu for shatterpoints, Plo Koon for Electric Judgment (which self-manifested without much warning; Plo merely felt the Force asking to be used, and allowed it to flow through him.)
The point I'm making here is that it can be any one technique (not a branch of techniques, like lightsaber, control, force or technological) and that it can manifest at any time. YOU CAN ONLY HAVE ONE. This can be activated at character creation, or it can be activated at any time in any situation (even in the midst of battle). But once it is done, it is DONE. You can not change it, revoke it, or beg for it to be changed. This means that if you are a force user, and your force powers get taken away, you lose your affinity. This means that if your affinity is a physical ability, and you suddenly lose the ability to perform the required action, you LOSE IT. However, if your ability is, say, slicing, and you get a neural interface that allows you to plug your cybernetic hand into a computer, you have just taken advantage of your affinity. Kudos. This upgrade is permanent, and its benefits are permanent.
It is not, however, retroactive. If you have 60 posts in a technique, you will then only have 30 (rounded up), but all of your checkpoints will be halved (rounded up), so your technique will not change ranks, beyond gaining a single point, to the minimum for the next rank. This is to prevent people who have two hundred posts in a technique skyrocketing their rank in the middle of combat. Those things do not happen, though the force is known to play favorites to nudge the tide of battle.
Folks, this is your oh s**t button. This is your get out of jail free card. If you find yourself in the middle of outer space in nothing but your skivvies, it might be a good time to spontaneously learn breath control, to hold out the several days you'll need to be picked up by daddy and rebuilt using only the latest in 90's toaster technology so that you can seek misguided revenge.
A very important thing about this affinity; it ignores alignment restrictions (in fact, dark side powers can draw on light side alignments and vice versa, as the power draws on a different emotion. Plo Koon used force lightning by channeling his righteous sense of justice.
This affinity can allow involuntary powers to become active abilities; for example, Mace Windu could sense shatterpoints almost subconsciously, where most jedi required incredible focus and concentration to do so. Force scream, while normally an uncontrollable wave of rage (often triggered by a catastrophic failure or success in an alignment check or even just an incredible sense of loss) can become a channeled emotion of any kind. Someone with a natural affinity for such a thing can power it with another powerful emotion such as joy or the like.
Once you gain five ranks in these abilities, these alignment augmented powers can be taught to others albeit at half speed. Once the student gains four ranks in the ability, their post count gets cut in half, and they return to normal training ranks. This training teaches the student to use this new emotion, but they must be taught by a master who knows it, with the master posting no less than one teaching post for every five the student posts. Don't worry; teaching still counts as practice. Masters grow with their students.
Additionally: all affinity abilities will have one special quality. This could be something as simple as the dark side/light side affinity being changed, or as complex as double effectiveness to one particular type of enemy (biological/non-biological) or half attunement cost. Basically, when choosing your affinity, send Emily Marneth a Private Message or post your suggestion in the experience thread, and it will be reviewed and approved. Don't get too greedy, and there's no reason it won't be approved. Be sure to list your special quality on your character profile
