016: Money
I looked over at the creature before us. It appeared to be silver and green. It had rows upon rows of sharp, wolf-like teeth; it's head was shaped as if someone morphed a wolf, a bear, and a goat. It had a giant, bear-like body, it was monstrous to say the least. "What is that thing?" I called out to the rest of our small team. "It's the Ghoul of Money," Cass answered. "We need to aim for his throat," Audrey explained. "It's his biggest weakness." "Alright," I put on my black gloves. I grabbed one of my dad's guns from its holster. "I'll distract him." I put on my noise-canceling headphones. "Good idea," Corrie agreed, motioning me to go. I walked behind him, and I readied my fingers on the trigger. "Hey you!" I shouted out. "Yeah you! The one with the messed up head!" It turned its head toward me and roared as loud as possible. Metal and various objects pelted around me. I did my best to keep steady. Once I found an opening, I opened fire. I kept shooting and shooting until I hand to reload. I saw I didn't even put a dent on him. "It's not working!" I called out. "Metal doesn't work!" Alex made a sword made out of ice for himself and Cass. They raced and hit the monster multiple times. It worked, not very well, but it was an improvement. "Why isn't anything working?!" Cass screamed as she struck the monster's throat again. "Why! Won't! You! Just! DIE?!" The monster seemed to have been affected more that time. Cass smirked widely and swung and swung. Each time she swung, she called him a name. Each time Alex swung, he said a terrible joke. After less than a minute, the monster exploded and turned into a pile of coins and paper. Cass and Alex collapsed on the ground. "I hate those things," she said, forcing herself to sit on her knees. "That makes two of us," I added. "Three," Alex added. "We are not doing each of us," Corrie announced. We all agreed that Ghouls are an abomination to us all.

017: Traveling Alone
In the hot desert or near the Arctic Circle, was a lone woman. Nobody knew her real name or her story. They only knew her mask and the fact she only wore black. Her white mask was shaped like a rabbit, with little marks of red and black. Soon, she adopted the name of The Rabbit. Her hair in mess of a black bob, and her guns loaded, she started her trek to the nearest city. Most did not know she was a trained assassin. She no longer had the career, choosing to simply travel the war-torn world alone. She often helped people in need, using her skills to save the defenseless. Many considered her a hero. However, she knew she never was one. She wasn't a villain, either. She was simply someone who took it to herself to trek the world.

018: Irony
We were battered and bruised from the multiple fights we endured. We've had to refight every Ghoul we've already defeated. It was grueling to say the least. We just got done with the halfway point. "That's...fifteen..." Audrey breathed heavily before letting go of her hammer and falling into Zach's arms. "Only fifteen more to go." She raised a fist in the air, but she did it so slowly, it seemed even our most optimistic member was exhausted. He did his best to heal her, but he didn't have as much control over his power as Anna or I. "Time to recover guys, because hear comes the next one!" Anna called. We six looked out from all sides. I heard laughter, maniacal, deranged laughter. "It's Sylvia," I whispered loud enough for them to hear. They all had worried expressions. She was one of the toughest ones to beat. "Oh Cassandra!" she laughed cheerfully. Well, she laughed as cheerfully as a monster like her could. I readied an ice blade for Cass, who gladly took it. She gave me the expression that said "I got this one!". The Ghoul showed in front of us. Her mismatched eyes, makeup and hair disturbed me the most. Her appearance was mainly a giant ball-gown with stripes and various patterns. "I won't go down easily," she said happily. She moved her arms and my arms were bound tightly. I looked to everyone else, who were currently trying to get their own arms free. "There's no point in struggling!" she laughed. "I'll take that, by the way." She moved her arms and the ice blade moved to her quickly. She motioned for someone to come to her. Even though Cass struggled, she was bound between the knees. When she still struggled, she was bound between her ankles. "How fitting that I defeat you," she said with a giant smile plastered on her face. "With the very weapon you defeated me with, Cassandra." "Ca-" I started to shout, but then I felt something on my mouth. When I tried moving, I was bound. I couldn't concentrate on anything other than getting free. Fire didn't do anything. Neither did dirt, water, or a big burst of air. While I struggled, Cass reluctantly moved to the Ghoul. Said Ghoul took the ice blade in her hand and put her other hand on top of it. Behind her, hundreds upon hundreds of blades appeared. She motioned for Cass to stay put, floating a foot off the ground. She tried to scream, but no words came out. I looked and saw that nobody could get free. Sylvia motioned her hand down. At once, all the blades moved to Cass. Time slowed. I saw every single one go right through her. She silently screamed as blood poured. I wanted to strangle that evil puppet personally. But, I couldn't get free. As blades continued to fly into her, Cass said something, somehow. "Cass? You're still alive?!" I was shocked myself I could talk. "Snap out of it!" she screamed at me. "Snap out of what?!" I said, perplexed at the statement. "And how are you talking?!" "What?" she asked without a drop of an accent. "You have like, a hundred blades through you!" I explained. "You should not be ALIVE let alone speaking!" She got up, removed the blades like they were threads stuck to her shirt, wiped the blood off and walked to me. "I don't have blades through me," she said calmly. "Now, Alex please calm down." "How did you do that?" I asked. She simply slapped me across the face. I went out for a second. When I came to, Anna and Audrey were currently fighting Sylvia. "What just happened?" I asked to no one in particular. I was surprisingly still standing. "You were tricked," Cass answered. "Just like when it happened to me." "Oh," I replied. "What happened anyway?" she asked. "She literally struck a hundred blades through you." "As if I would let that happen."
