I decided to start using these for the environment, I heard it reduces cramps? Its going to be my first time using these. Is there anyone in the guild that uses them? If you do, can you post about your experiences?

I did look it up yesterday after I had ordered some, but I want more answers from more people. I'm just doing my research so that I can tell friends and family about it more.

It's pretty much like a disposable pad only reusable and its like how you'd insert any disposable pad, only you have snaps and you have to wash it. When I get mine in the mail I'll be sure to have a follow up on how I feel about them, but its going to be my first time doing this because I'm sick of disposable ones, and I don't think i'll purchase from Kotex again. http://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/health/texas-blogger-finds-mold-tampon-kotex-carries-health-risk-article-1.1053167

: Yeah, and apparently the chemicals in the disposable pads(any brand) make you cramp more, thats why I wanna know from other people if they noticed a change or anything.

I have a friend who uses them, she says she notices no difference in cramps, but had hoped to help the environment...
That being said, she says she uses so much detergent to clean it, that it may not be all that environmentally friendly....
To each his own I suppose ^^; Its been 6 years since my last period so I am no expert...

Reusable pads......

The first thing I can think of is the hygiene aspect of this... Isn't it incredibly unhygienic to be using the same pads over and over?

Yeah, I think I will stick to the normal, one time ones. >.> <.<
