This is where the profiles of those sorted into the Nocturne Server are kept, but don't post your profile here unless you've been told to do so in the "accepted" thread. If you end up with multiple characters in Nocturne, please edit them into your original post for the sake of organization.

Also, if you have been given or awarded rare items, they'll be listed under your character's information.

Player name: Tairitsu and Tao Dazai (Shared character, oh lord.)
Player description: Tai and Tao
Game character name: Zephyr
Age: 24 (Life); 27 (Game)
Class: Reaper
Weapon: Kamikaze (Large scythe; Wind-aligned and pictured below)
Description: Zephyr (Except he has dark hair and lacks the jacket.)
Personality: While his personality outside of the game is much closer to Requiem's, as Zephyr, Tai can be rather obnoxious. His default setting is sarcastic and he doesn't pull any verbal punches. Ventus_Presul is a favorite target, as he tends to find her reactions far more amusing than he should, and the two have an odd sort of love-hate relationship.
There are very few who get any sort of loyalty from Zephyr--even the rare player that manages to gain his favor doesn't have it for long. He's a PK, though usually only targets the players he's gotten tired of.

Tao, on the other hand, is much easier to deal with. He’s more open and friendly to the players that interest him, and unlike his twin, he actually has a sense of loyalty (and an especially soft spot for Ven). The only reason Tai doesn't complain about this "ruining" the reputation he set out to build is because it frustrates and confuses the hell out of the players that have had the misfortune to run into both of them.
When it comes to those that are disliked, Tao is content to just pointedly ignore them and move on--figuring they’re not even worth the effort to kill off, especially when they’ll just log in again a few minutes afterwards or the next day.
Bio: Zephyr’s history is more or less a mystery--as most have not managed to get close enough to him in order to pry any of it out of him. All that’s known for sure is that he generally has quite the attitude on him and doesn’t mind preying on those that provoke it.

As far as the twins are concerned, their life never had much stability until they moved out together at the age of nineteen. They got along quite well with both parents and their younger sister (who they're fiercely protective of), but because the travel their father’s job required, the family was uprooted many times throughout their childhood.
Finally gaining their freedom from their (now divorced) parents however, and now on their own more or less, they needed a new source of entertainment. This came in the form of The Game and they’ve been playing for two years now.

Rare item list:
1) Flute of Beckoning - Summons the Quest Server of choice (Multiple use)

2) Death's Scytheblade - Having this item in possession greatly increases the chance of Critical Hits--especially when one is low on HP

Player name: Tairitsu Dazai
Player description: Tairitsu
Game character name: Requiem
Age: 25
Class: Dark Knight
Weapon: Celestial Revenge (Broadsword made of pure silver. It is particularly useful against demons and wolves, and reflects the Curse status effect at whomever tries to affect its holder with the spell.
As long as the light of the sun or moon fall on this blade, physical attacks are granted a 15% boost.)
Description: Despite the "Dark" within his class name, Requiem actually looks the part of a literal knight in shining armor, often acts like it, and has nothing 'dark' on him. In fact, with medium-length white hair that brushes his shoulders and a pale skin tone--not to mention the silver armor--the only thing that holds color in his character are his eyes, which are a brilliant sort of blue. The heavy armor he wears is nearly a full suit--a helmet is the only thing missing.
Requiem is also rather tall--standing at an even six feet.
Personality: Requiem is Tai's other character and no one would suspect it, given the huge difference from his Zephyr personality. He tends to be cordial to other players (admittedly just barely in some cases), despite how he may actually feel about them.
As he is, in his own way, indifferent to most players himself, Loki's lack of regard to others doesn't bother him in the slightest. The Dark Knight has been known, despite being labeled the archetypal "knight in shining armor" by his fans, to ignore players that need bailing out of Serynn or battle in general if they aren't someone he knows personally.

Whether or not he has a short temper depends greatly on who happens to be getting on his nerves at the time--some types of people he tolerates better or worse than others. Even when he is upset, however, it's not blatantly obvious. The polite smile sharpens a bit, perhaps, and one might spot annoyance in his gaze as he finds an excuse to be elsewhere before walking off despite protests--but he very rarely ends up exploding at others.
Bio: Requiem of the Nocturne Server appeared within Larmadia about a year after The Game's release. He went on quests of all sorts in order to gain a Flute of Beckoning, though these days he's almost always found on either his home server or Kitsune's.

The Dark Knight was quickly developing into a solo player until, after a short two weeks of playing, he happened to meet Loki. The two became good friends rather easily and quickly--after that, where one was, you were guaranteed to find the other. Fans of the duo have nicknamed them the "Celestial Dawn of Twilight," and they became quite popular without trying. When the Thief's gaming time got drastically cut, Requiem seemed to get a sudden flood of requests to wander about Larmadia from various members of the fanclub (his own fans and Loki's alike), who did well at preventing him from getting lonely (perhaps a bit too well, as he hardly had time to himself while logged in).
While he's happy to answer the fan's requests, he still manages to get himself labeled as 'elusive' due to the difficult-to-traverse place he favors when his partner in crime is absent. If Loki's not online, Requiem can be found leveling up on his own in the Serynn Jungle.

Since he has joined The Game, Requiem has always managed to keep on top of all the happenings within it (thanks in part to trading information with his twin and sister) and has often been referred to as an "Information Booth" by those that know him. He's the best one to go to when one is in need of any information--even that concerning other players. While he may not know a player personally, he generally knows at least who they are if they've been in Larmadia more than a week.

Rare item list:
1) Celestial Revenge (Rare weapon; Particularly useful against demons and wolves, and reflects the Curse status effect at whomever tries to affect its holder with the spell.
As long as the light of the sun or moon fall on this blade, physical attacks are given a 15% strength boost.)

2) Wing of the Phoenix - A player holding this item will be automatically revived to full health (but will have no MP) when killed. Ideal for solo players--but it is a one-time use item.

3) Flute of Beckoning - Summons the Quest Server of choice (Multiple use)

Player name: Takuhi Dazai
Player description: Takuhi
Takuhi is significantly shorter then the twins; standing at 5’ 6’’. She always wears her hair down, and is usually wearing darker colored clothing--she isn’t a fan of light or pastel colors as far as wearing them herself.
Player personality: Takuhi finds great amusement in Zephyr, having a mischievous streak herself. She also has the "powers" of being cute and appearing innocent to aid her in talking herself out of more serious consequences. Takuhi is very close to both of her brothers, but she tends to favor Tao when Tai isn’t looking and takes his side when the males get into the inevitable argument over one thing or another.
While normally polite enough, because of her short temper, Takuhi is not the best with people--she can be downright mean to those that annoy her. However, those that manage to win her over find that she makes a very dedicated and protective friend.
Game character name: Miyuki
Age: 20 (in both the game and life)
Class: Paladin
Weapon: Medusa (Broadsword; Chance of Paralysis)
Description: Miyuki
Miyuki wears silver armor on her upper chest and midsection, as well as a pair of light gauntlets--and no more metal than that. Under her armor, she wears a long white dress that’s unbuttoned past her thighs, allowing for a little more freedom of movement. Miyuki is also outfitted with a pair of long, white leather boots that stretch to about mid-thigh.
Game personality: Miyuki is nearly the polar opposite of her creator--a rather timid girl who goes completely out of her way to avoid causing any sort of trouble for other Players. However, in battle she becomes much more sure of herself and even goes as far as to bark out orders to her party members.
She's kind, open, and willing to be helpful to others in any way she can--unless they decide to be less than polite. Miyuki will never be known as a PK but should someone cross her, a rare streak of vengeance will show itself. She’ll bide her time, leaving the player she planned on aiding stranded in battle when they need healing most direly.
Bio: She was fifteen when her brothers moved out, and seriously considered begging them to take her along. Takuhi absolutely hated it when he parents argued and moved out no sooner than two days after she graduated high school, staying with the twins a month or so until she got herself a steady job and her own apartment.
Once Takuhi left, her parents went through with a long-delayed divorce, having only been staying together for the sake of the children (or what they thought was the sake of the children--Takuhi had always thought it ridiculous they never realized they were doing more harm than good with that move). She was unfazed by this announcement, having seen it coming a ways off.

With the financial help of her father, Takuhi entered college and began studying Japanese as a major in order to become a translator for whatever large business that may need her. To keep in practice, she often exchanges emails with the girl behind Tsunami or has conversations with other Japanese players within The Game. Sometimes, she’ll slip into the language unconsciously (usually only small things like attaching honorable titles to people‘s names), much to the confusion of those who don’t know her or anything about the Japanese language. Though she has been fully dedicated to her major in the six months since she began pursuing it, she doesn’t consider herself anywhere near closer to her goal than when she started.
Shortly after she got settled within her college of choice, she ran (quite literally) into Skylar, and the two became friends rather quickly.

Miyuki has been in The Game the same amount of time as Zephyr--two years. Since then, she’s become a rather- high-leveled Paladin. When she’s not off running around or questing with Tsunami and Summer’s_Song, she can often be found either wandering the monster-infested areas on her own or in the company of Sonoma.

Rare item list:
1) Medusa (Rare Weapon; Broadsword with a small chance of causing Paralysis)

2) Death's Scytheblade - Having this item in possession greatly increases the chance of Critical Hits--especially when one is low on HP.

Player name: Jason "Jay" Lake
Player description: Jay
Player personality: Most people that know Jay would be hard-pressed to find something they dislike about him. He's very lighthearted, has a cheerfulness about him that is almost infectious, and treats nearly everyone he meets as if they were a long-lost friend. However convincing it may be though, his bright nature is partly a front. When he's in the company of close friends and family, his worries and insecurities show through.
Game character name: Orion
Age: 17 / 19
Guild: Skyfall
Class: Paladin
Weapon: Dusk (One-handed sword made of a dull gray metal)
Description: Orion
Game personality: Orion isn't too different from Jay. He's lighthearted in his own ways, but he doesn't put as much effort into making it constant. He also has a stronger sense of justice, which when paired with Jay's fondness of people and desire to help out where he can, is what lead him to take up the business of saving others from the player killers lurking within Larmadia.
Bio: He lived a rather plain life until the age of ten, at which point his mother died in an accident (along with the drunk driver that had smashed into her car) and his family's life was dumped upside down. Jay's father began working long hours in order to support him and from then on two never saw much of each except on the weekends and other miscellaneous days off, though they stayed close regardless. During the week, he stayed at his maternal aunt's house so that he had someone to look after him and get him to and from school. Now that he's nearing eighteen, he's finally won her trust that he can look after himself for the most part while his father's away at work.

Jay started The Game six months ago with a couple of his high school friends, and though said friends lost interest after the "Server Crisis," he's just as captivated with Larmadia as he ever was. In fact, the odd happenings within the game world have managed to hook him even more into it, and he sets most of whatever time that isn't consumed by homework aside for it.

Orion, appropriately enough for his class, is a PKK. Once he learned there was an actual guild dedicated to taking player killers out and making the whole of Larmadia a little safer to traverse, he didn't hesitate to contact the player filling in for the absent guild master. Ever since he obtained a Flute of Beckoning from one of Nocturne's quests, If he isn't on PK patrol or with a party, he's usually exploring another Server.

Rare item list:
1) Flute of Beckoning - Summons the Quest Server of choice (Multiple use)

User name: Skimblekitten

Player name: Terence Laresten

Player Desc: Male teen with short, black hair, blue eyes, tall, light frame, emo/punk clothing.

Player Personality: Out going, patient, smart, sometimes quick to point out when he finds someone is wrong about something, nice, polite

Game Character Name: Sinna Rosenwood

Age: 19 || 19

Class: White Mage

Weapon: White staff with blue gems

Description: Male teen with short blue hair, black eyes, tall, light frame, white cloak over black pants.

Game Personality: Quiet, shy, polite, willing to help, willing to learn, rather passive

Bio: Terry wasn't really into video games until he got into high school and many of his friends 'disappeared' into their own little game worlds. He has tried to keep up with them, but he's not very good at pleasing them all. Last year he decided to stop trying to please them and tried to find new friends and his own favorite kind of video games. After some experimenting, he found he liked roleplay games and some of his new friends he's found suggested this game.

Online, Terry likes to get 'into character' rather than talk about himself. Sinna is very quiet and shy because he was bullied a lot before he found he had an aptitude for magic. He's prone to falling over or bumping into things, but he's very reliable and kind to others. While he may seem weak and useless, he's trying very hard to become a strong white mage so he can be more useful and protect those whom he becomes friends with.

Chris on the other hand was often praised for his intelligence. He was the smartest person in his village, and very capable of magic. Seeing as how he had done everything there's is to be done in his village Chris left.

User name: Amber Skyes

Player name: Antony T. Volkmar

Player Desc:
Antony is a reasonably attractive young man of average height. He has dark brown hair and lightly tanned skin. His build is strong with broad shoulders, but is beginning to speak of neglect because he rarely goes to the gym these days, or even leaves the house. Where he used to wear contacts, he has now given up and just wears an old pair of glasses. Usually he can be found in a plain colored t-shirt and jeans, though sometimes he doesn't even have the energy to put on pants and just wears boxers instead.

Player Personality:
Overall, Antony could be described as a very, very good guy. He is generous, outgoing, and generally known as a great friend to have. He is not particularly patient, and will sometimes take over for a friend when they aren't doing well because he knows that otherwise, he will become very frustrated.

Even though he has been deeply affected by tragedy, Antony still tries to help people as much as he can. He can often be found helping newbies by giving them gold, items, or advice, and he chose his character's class specifically to always be needed by one group or another.

Game Character Name: Avery Tajahn

Age: 18 in both

Class:
White Mage - Uses White Magic to replenish party members's health, revive the wounded, cure status conditions, and deal holy damage to the enemy. They also use Denfesive Magic to protect both themselves and their comrads in the heat of battle.

Weapon:
Gloves of Sorellan, found after Antony decided to solo a dungeon for the hell of it. It ended up taking hours longer than it should have, but in the end he emerged victorious with gloves that channel magic the same way that a staff would. It really just means that he can carry more things and has to physically touch a person with his hands to heal them, but it looks really cool (and that's what's important).

Description: [Avery]

Game Personality:
Antony does not act very differently in-game than out; he retains his overall friendliness and generosity, and enjoys joining groups just to help heal them. Because she has been active for more than a year, Avery has traveled extensively since originally leaving her town, but still has a while to go before reaching the top.

Bio:
Before his sister died a year ago, Antony spent a lot of time outside playing soccer or basketball with his friends, or working at his uncle's nursery. Now, he doesn't like to leave the house much, because to leave is to pass the spot on the street where she died. Even though the blood spots on the asphalt are long gone, Antony swears that he can still see them. Although he has 'gotten over' the tragedy, it is still not a good idea to bring her up. He began to play The Game after his sister sent him an invitation, figuring that it might be something to pass his time with. After her untimely death and a long break from the game, he felt as though it would be an insult to her memory to stop playing...and he really enjoyed it.

Avery was born in a small town; her parents were physicians who were overjoyed to have a daughter with magical aptitude. They had the white mage in the next town over teach her as much as possible in order for their daughter to help them heal patients faster. She loved the work, but couldn't help but feel as though she wasn't helping very much - although her parents may not have seen it, she could tell that they, too, were using white magic to help treat people. So, once her training was complete, she moved to the big city to meet more people than were in her tiny town and find her calling. Now, she has traveled widely and met many people, but is still seeking more.

CORINNE TATIENNE GÉROUX
HEY
IBUKI MAYAʚ Player Desc:
AGRIAS
Corinne is pretty without quite reaching beautiful--at least, not on her own efforts. She's thin,
AGRIAS
though not merely skinny; her years of track and field experience in high school have left her
AGRIAS
with a healthy body, though the definition of her limbs has faded somewhat in the year since she
AGRIAS
graduated. In general, her sense of style is eminently practical—she doesn't have the attention
AGRIAS
span to fuss about with her appearance. For that reason, she keeps her thick brown hair short
AGRIAS
and simple—so long as it's neat and out of her only slightly lighter brown eyes, she doesn't
AGRIAS
worry too much about it. While on her own time, comfort trumps presentability, and t-shirts and
AGRIAS
jeans tend to dominate her wardrobe; while out academically or professionally, however, she
AGRIAS
cleans up very nicely. Perhaps speaking to the sparsity of her love life, her closet is rather sparse
AGRIAS
outside of her professional and casual wear.
FO'C'SLE
IBUKI MAYAʚ Player Personality:
AGRIAS
Cori is generally an upbeat and dedicated young woman, though in the short term she's quite
AGRIAS
distractible and quick to panic. She's almost incapable of sitting still; if she isn't working towards
AGRIAS
a goal, she feels trapped. While hers is not necessarily the quickest mind in her circle of friends,
AGRIAS
she's quick to act, sure to see things through, and loyal to a fault. Her zeal is almost matched by
AGRIAS
her carelessness--she has a reckless abandon with which she pursues her goals that lends itself
AGRIAS
to an air of clumsiness; even though during her less frantic moments she's the picture of
AGRIAS
coordination.

IBUKI MAYAʚ Description:
AGRIAS
While Corinne hates managing long hair in real life, she's always liked the way it looks, and so
AGRIAS
she gave Bushi loosely tied blonde hair reaching almost to the small of her back. As might be
AGRIAS
expected of a fencer, Bushi is lean, but athletically built. Combined with her modest height, she
AGRIAS
doesn't cut a particularly imposing figure.

AGRIASBushi has used the in-game character creation tools to cobble together an outfit surprisingly
AGRIAS
close to traditional costume for a samurai. Her sleeveless black dress closely resembles a
AGRIAS
hakama below the waist; and her striped blue and white short jacket's almost comically wide
AGRIAS
sleeves emulate a haori. Add the steel-reinforced headband, han-kote-like gauntlets, and tabi
AGRIAS
emphasized by flexible thonged leather boots, and Bushi's outfit is a surprisingly close fit.

IBUKI MAYAʚ Game Personality:
AGRIAS
While Bushi appears as calm and collected as the archetypal samurai from which she takes her
AGRIAS
name, she behaves no differently online than she does in real life, and her uniquely hectic pace
AGRIAS
of being will doubtless disturb more than a few Game players as she makes her way through
AGRIAS
Larmadia.

IBUKI MAYAʚ Bio:
AGRIASCorinne was born in Nice, France—the daughter of Raphaël and Lucille Géroux, a baker and a
AGRIAS
lawyer, respectively. It was at the tender age of 6 that her parents moved to Wilmette, Illinois, not
AGRIAS
far from Chicago, to pursue new opportunities. The move affected the young girl deeply—while
AGRIAS
she spoke some English already (her maternal grandfather's side of the family was British), the
AGRIAS
loss of her friends, the culture shock, and differences between herself and her new peers drove
AGRIAS
her inward. It took another four years till a new friend began to draw her out—a girl one year
AGRIAS
younger named Patience Monday, peculiar for her constant even-temperedness.

AGRIASPatience was mild, shy, and, like her name implied, patient to a fault; and while these qualities
AGRIAS
made her easy to talk to for the withdrawn young Cori, they also began to drive her wild as time
AGRIAS
went on, and her natural buoyancy began to finally resurface. She seemed to gain the energy to
AGRIAS
speak for both of them—and not infrequently, to Patience's dismay, did. Even as the years
AGRIAS
continued to pass and she blossomed socially, Cori stuck to Patience like glue—a friendship
AGRIAS
between opposite natures—until her purported death three years ago.

AGRIASCori was devastated. While her outward recovery seemed fairly normal, considering, it took her
AGRIAS
months before she was able to coherently focus on anything. Her grades, which had never been
AGRIAS
much better than average at best, dropped off significantly; she lost focus on her college hunt;
AGRIAS
and outside of what was socially demanded of her in order to maintain a normal day to day life,
AGRIAS
she largely abandoned the pursuit of her favorite activities.

AGRIASIt wasn't until she stumbled across a conspiracy theory concerning the crash on the internet that
AGRIAS
she snapped back. The theory itself was silly—the poster claimed that the crash had been a
AGRIAS
purposeful demonstration of LabTech's power to the governments of the world and had allowed
AGRIAS
them to largely take control of Germany behind the scenes. That said, the description was
AGRIAS
thorough enough, with listed sources (some legitimate, most as crazy as the theory itself) that
AGRIAS
went into sufficient detail, that Cori noticed some curious discrepancies—enough to make her
AGRIAS
think that LabTech may have at least been guilty of more negligence than their PR had managed
AGRIAS
to convince the official investigation of.

AGRIASPartially out of genuine interest in the field and partially out of her kindled curiosity, she began
AGRIAS
to buckle down, working towards a college with a good law program. Her natural zeal in
AGRIAS
accomplishing her goals helped push her back in to the running, and she actually managed to
AGRIAS
make good at the University of Chicago, where she took on a paid (if rather menial) internship at
AGRIAS
a local law firm to help with bills.

AGRIASUnfortunately, between the scarcity of untainted and reliable information and the rigors of her
AGRIAS
academic, professional, and social lives, she's had very little luck tracking down any leads on the
AGRIAS
crash. By chance recently, she happened to hear an obscure internet legend about a hacked
AGRIAS
player character in The Game that supposedly knows about LabTech's dirtiest secrets. As she'd
AGRIAS
also been looking for a way to unwind during especially late nights and in between classes, she
AGRIAS
figured looking into the MMO that had, however indirectly, claimed the life of her best friend
AGRIAS
couldn't hurt… could it?

AGRIASBushi's face is entirely unknown in The Game, as she's about to log in for the first time…

Player name: Lexa Flynn
Player Desc: Lexa is your average 5' 4" girl, weighing in at about 110. She has read hair and green eyes, and pale skin to boot. Her normal wear is whatever she finds in her closet, usually a t-shirt, and sweat pants.
Player Personality: Lexa has people problems. She hates talking to other people, and so whenever she goes out into public she will fidget, babble on like an idiot, or enter into a panic attack. And so she rarely leaves her house. The main cause of this problem is her low self esteem and shyness.
Game Character Name: Ryker
Age: /21 // 21/
Class: Theif
Weapon: Several daggers hidden along his person, and a set of lock picks.
Description: Ryker
Game Personality: Ryker is the complete opposite of his creator. He is a more confident, and outgoing person, and though he doesn't like human interaction, and will avoid it at all costs, he doesn't break down. He simply prefers to be on his own, increasing his wealth by picking the pockets of newbies, and occasionally the better off players. He is a conman, and will try his best to milk a person for all they are worth.
Bio:

Lexa had been going to a psychiatrist for some time to deal with her ant-social behavior. It was his suggestion to play an interactive game where she would have to come into contact with others and develop her people skills without actually having to go anywhere, or dealing with the people face to face. She was a little hesitant at first, but once she started playing, a new found confidence enveloped her. She could be anyone she wanted. She didn't have to be her plain old boring self. In fact, she didn't even have to be female. She started the game and created a male character because it gave her a higher sense of security. Once the actual game started, she found she couldn't put it down, sometimes going fro days without food or sleep. It had developed into a sort of obsession.

Ryker had gown up in a small town, and his quick reflexes, and silver tongue had gotten him out of many situations. His family fell on hard times, so he began to use his talents to support his family. He told them he had gotten a job, when really, all he was doing was stealing from everyone else. He got tired of being at home, and so he left all his earnings with his family and headed out to adventure.

Player name: Lorelei (Lori) Ramone
Player Desc: [Lori]
Player Personality: For someone who's spent half of her life not being able to hear, Lori is rather bright and bubbly, taking life in stride and accepting everything that's thrown her way. She's always managing to find the brighter side to things in life and never stops to ponder the bad, or how life could possibly get worse in any situation. She's care-free, high spirited, and lives her life to the fullest- despite her disability.

Lori is extremely friendly, loves to make people laugh and smile, and is usually always found with an expression of delight on her face. She also reads lips very well, and talks when she signs, yet never gets discouraged or upset/angry when people don't understand her or worse - mean to her/make fun of her. She just doesn't care what people think about her. Her life is hers, it is what it is, and no one will ever change that.
Game Character Name: Fantica
Age: Real Life - 25 || In Game - 25
Class: Sage
Weapon: Solar Radiance (pictured below)
Description: [Fantica]
Game Personality: Fantica, on the other hand, people have often wonder if the character is bi-polar or not. At time, she can share her creator's bubbly personality, accepting people and the like with open arms and a warm smile. Though there are times that the girl is hateful, moody, and down right mean (even going as far to PK a person or two if her mood sees fit.) Usually, however, Fantica is just simply there. She tends to keep to herself more often then not, but can be found with a small group of regulars every now and then.
Bio: Lorelei, from birth, had an odd attraction to sound. She showed early signs of alertness to the sounds of her parents voices, and her bond with sound only got stronger as she got older. Music, voices, anything that made noise, the girl wanted to have surrounding her- though this was all changed when she turned thirteen. She and her mother had been making a run to the local super market for dinner supplies. One trip back, a drunk driver, and a ran red light later landed the girl in the hospital- motherless, and completely deaf.

At first, the lack of sound seemed to have devistated the girl. The fact that she could no longer hear anyone or anything made her mute- completely so, and this worried her doctors as well as her father. She spent the next several years being home schooled by a woman who had spent years learning to deal with and teach deaf children. Within three years of this, the woman who had only been her teacher, became her mother, and though a sense of normalty had washed over the family, Lori was still not the same.

Then the day came when Lab Tech had created a new device for their Game and needed a test subject for it. Her father, being one of the minorities working for the company, informed his CEO about his daughter and the test run of The Games new device for the system was underway. Once things were proven to be 110% effective, Lori was able to hear once again while within the realm of Larmadia- thus Fantica was born. Now the deafened girl spends nearly all of her time playing The Game and usually quite literally has to be pried away from it to do anything a normal human being needs to do. Still, she usually spends her nights logged in, eats while she's logged in, and does nearly everything she can while logged in- thus making her father wish he'd never suggested his daughter for the program.

She still lives at home so that her father can take care of her (much to Lori's protests) and keep an eye on her at all times, being utterly convinced that the system his daughter is constantly connected to is going to end up harming her one day.
