Just yesterday I had the experience of going to see one of the first movies of this summer called "Now You See Me". This movie came out on May 31st, and for it's opening weekend did relatively well in the box offices with a grand total of $28 million. It has been revered for it's start studded cast (Jessie Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Melanie Laurent, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Michael Caine, and Morgan Freeman), but thus far, that is all the movie has been regarded for by critics around the globe.
In a nut shell, "Now You See Me" is a 'modern day robin hood' in which a small band of street illusionists each regarded for a different skill are pulled together in order to execute the largest bank heist known. Their aim is to give back to their audiences who go and see their three act show, while dodging and tricking the FBI who are bent on capturing them, and the ex magician who is able to debunk their tricks.

On a personal opinion, I thoroughly enjoyed having the tremendous pleasure of seeing this movie. Magic and illusions has always been a pure interest of mine, and while I believed that the movie itself was engaging, enthralling, captivating, thought provoking, and immersing, it was mixed with a great cast who were so in touch with their characters that they were far from being labeled as their acting persona, and actually became these illusionists and agents. It has been a long time since I have been so immersed in a movie that was so utterly gripping that it was hard to pay attention to anything else, that I didn't even try to bother to think ahead to figure out the ending. It didn't matter to me how it was all going to end because I was purely interested and intrigued in the movie that I just wanted to enjoy it. That being said though, I'm a little upset at reviews and comments that this movie is getting from critics, and even some movie goers who had gone to see the movie themselves.

Mixed reviews have been given for this movie, but on a holistic scale, the reviews on this movie are less than appealing and encouraging.
'The film's most common criticism is that various plot points were insufficiently resolved at the movie's conclusion, leaving some questions unanswered or answered unclearly (although it has been suggested that this was intentional, potentially leaving room for a sequel)
Based on 79 reviews from film critics, Rotten Tomatoes rated the film 43% Fresh, saying "Now You See Me 's thinly sketched characters and scattered plot rely on directorial sleight of hand to distract audiences -- and director Louis Leterrier lacks sufficient cinematic prestidigitation to pull it off in the final act." Peter Hammond from Movieline writes, "Pure summer movie magic - literally. More fun than Ocean's 11, 12, and 13 combined. You won't believe your eyes - and that's the point."'

I usually enjoy and agree with Rotten Tomatoes and their criticism and enlightenment on movies, but here I have to disagree. I have a hard time believing that a movie that got applause in the theatre that I had viewed it in can do so poorly in a critic's eye. I know I'm not the only one that enjoyed the movie as much, and I'm hoping that I am correct.
I want to hear other opinions on this movie for those who have seen it, so please, share what you think, what you expect if you haven't already seen the movie, why you might not want to go see it, or what keeps you from going to see it.

Please be courteous of those who have not seen the movie and label any spoilers you might give in your posts. The code for that is
