Left in the mail box is a flier.
"To the guardian(s) of Amie Dahl, Grade 9, and Alec Dahl, Grade 11.
The schoolhouse has come under new management and, with it, a new name. To celebrate this, we will be holding a festival on Fall 1st. I hope you can come and join us, please, it would be nice if you could do it. You can meet your child(ren)'s teacher, Mr. Pearson, and even some of the other staff! If you want to, that is, please don't force yourself if you can't make it. We understand, even if I think your child would benefit a lot more if you decided to come with them and spend this quality time. Children need a lot of quality time to be happy.
Please come and volunteer if you want to.
Yoakim Jr. Waldroup Principal of Little Red Hen Schoolhouse"

Lily liked this house! There were flowers in the front and the architecture looked so elegant and cozy~ After the stress of the past two houses, the Wind fairy was relieved to find herself at such a nice house next. The Dahl family had a number of people of it, with different fairies, and she was actually surprised to find that she was the first one there. She thought she had started late! Slipping into the house, she found herself in Alec's room. The boy had had some trouble this year, so she wanted to make sure he found his present before anyone did (the idea of someone eating his fruit without his permission was enough to make her cry!). Flying hesitantly to the foot of his bed, she lightly set down a basket full of fruit, bananas and apples and even a whole watermelon! After balancing an envelope addressed to Alec Dahl on top of the watermelon, she flew straight out of that nice house, onto the next~

The next stop was the Dahl House! Orchid could not stop saying that to herself. Dahl House! Oh it was just so cute! It was almost impossible for any house to ever live up to the standards that she had created while giggling along the way, but somehow, they had done it. The outside of the house was just sooo beautiful! Even in the dim light, she could see how beautiful all of these flowers were. She was very excited to see the inside of the house and quickly worked her way in. Orchid was pleased to see that it was roomy. It was awful to think of four people piled into one tiny little house! She didn’t want precious little Amie to have to put up with that! Speaking of Amie, where in the world was she? Orchid had peaked into practically all of the rooms when she finally found little Amie sleeping in her bed. Ah, she was proud of this one! She was still so young and yet so fashionable! Orchid had taken notes on Amie’s various appearances around the town. It seemed this girl was as eager as ever to find a lovely prince, and that warmed Orchid’s heart. It was great to know that there was one such young that knew the only way to prosper was to find a prince! She fluttered over to the little end table and dropped a small box containing several different colors of ribbons for Amie to put through her hair. Next to this, was a small envelope containing a letter addressed to Amie Dahl. With a smile, Orchid disappeared off into the night.

Two of her newer followers were next on Hyacinth's list as she went to the Dahl home, where Anneliese and Alfred Dahl lived. The tall (Well, for a fairy.) creature fluttered through the home, arriving first to Anneliese's bedroom so she could leave her a jar of fireflies on her nightstand. The woman seemed to be promising and, considering she was under the care of one of her better followers, Hyacinth had faith that Anneliese would become an exemplary mortal in due time. However, that time was certainly not now – especially considering she hardly knew the girl! She had only moved to the island that year, hadn't she? ...But then again, so had Evander.. Ah, well, Hyacinth could have favorites just as much as any fairy. She left the girl's bedroom to go to the next one – Alfred's!
The man was also new to the island, so she happily left him a jar of fireflies, some of her good acquaintances were in there too! What an honor this baker had, to host such great guests as Blinkers or McFlashy! She hummed happily as she turned to start heading out. Alfred, like his sister, was also left in the good hands of Xeiro. Hopefully, he would stop talking to that horrible girl with the cat – Angelina, was it? – and instead focus on opening a successful bakery to rival Xeiro's instead!
