I figured we should have a thread where crew members can list any and all assets (gold, items) that they would be willing to donate as prizes for any upcoming contests. You can either post here or PM me, and I'll do my best to keep this first post updated with all the gold and items we have at our disposal.
With regard to items, I'm setting a minimum marketplace value of 10,000 gold and above. We can adjust that up or down as we see fit in the future, but I think we're all in agreement that we want to be able to offer good, reasonably valuable prizes, and most of the items I've listed here are worth considerably more than 10,000 gold, but I had to have some sort of cut-off, so 10,000 is just the number I pulled out of my bum for now. As I said, that's open for discussion.
Also, please be aware that once you've submitted items or gold to be considered part of our guild assets, you're agreeing not to sell, trade, or give away any of the items or gold you've submitted without letting us know ahead of time. Just to avoid setting up a contest and listing the prizes, only to realise that the gold/items we've offered up as prizes no longer exists. Sound fair?

Right now I don't have anything worth much but I'm willing to part with gold.
I can probably reserve 50k for the guild.

That's completely fine, whatever anyone is willing to donate is great.
I've just been on this site way too long and only use a very small percentage of my inventory, and a lot of the items I don't use are great items, they just don't fit with my usual themes/colour schemes, so I figure someone else should enjoy them. I also have doubles and triples of some items that I DO use, just not in duplicate or triplicate.
I'll add your 50k to the guild "account." smile
