Arcene Ryckanis ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You have fallen, fallen into the void... Sometimes it was almost like Hera had no idea about Arcene and his habits. Not long at all after Arcene is out of Eris' hall, the flickering of his form had intensified as his present and past dueled for dominance of the current form. It didn't take long for his present to win through, causing the flickering to suddenly go away, leaving Arcene back in his pale, silver-haired normality, and with all of his memories once again. He looked around at the two Hera clones surprisedly. "Hera? What in the world are you... she... whatever, I don't know how this clone business works. What are you doing..." Arcene was asking before he stopped as he started to take in his surroundings. He honestly had no idea where he was, but he recognized the slight cloying press of the atmosphere, barely noticeable though it was. That hadn't been some strange thing to happen after someone had somehow captured him. He was back in the Dream Realm, which suddenly explained why Hera had been there. And apparently that girl who had been trying to talk his younger self into something was another of the Lamia. And then it clicked that Hera wasn't there, just these two clones. She hadn't come out of the hall after them. "Oh hell no." Arcene said, turning around back towards the hall he had just been in as his clothed body was suddenly clad in armor. There was no way he was going to just walk out and leave Hera to deal with that alone. If he left her alone after all, it was entirely possible that Eris would manage to turn this around somehow. After all, she had managed to ensnare Arcene, although he doubted from what had been happening that he would have stayed snared for too long. But he couldn't be sure after all with these Lamia. "If you clones know that Hera is out of there for a fact, we can leave. If not, I'm going in." He says, as an icy vapor starts coalescing around his right hand. That was about all the break he was giving, and they didn't have long to respond. If it took them more then a few seconds to answer, a reasonable amount of time to a fighters combat perspective, then he would assume they couldn't be sure and head in anywa. He didn't plan to leave the person who had just saved him from whatever might have happened alone with enemies. He didn't really want to need to do the same for her in five minutes. And if he did have to go in, then that icy mist was going to coalesce into a sheet of ice in the approximate shape of a razor-thin blade, with him holding the hilt. But do not be afraid... In the darkness, you are never alone

maru-shadow Damn, yer frisky... Dream Vampire Hera; Grade 2 The clones looked at each other before facing Arcene once more. "Why of course, Arcene!" they agree simultaneously. "I could use the help, really! And welcome back!" With that, the two bow, disappearring. The true Hera had at least broken free from the first batch of the Erises, but she was having trouble separating herself from the rest of the mob. Her swipes and other attacks were at low power; the hall's conditions were limiting her strength. She could only push so much before she was overwhelmed. But I'm not losin' this one!

Arcene Ryckanis ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You have fallen, fallen into the void... Arcene glances back at where the clones had been, before looking back towards the entrance to the hall Hera was in as his Ice Blade materialized in his hand. In his left hand a small cylindrical object appeared with a small pin sticking out of the top, which Arcene pulled out as he walked. It only took him a moment to assess the situation in the hall. There were lots of Eris's, and he couldn't see where Hera was in the press from here. A quick and easy assessment. So Arcene pitched the flashbang grenade into the air well above the crowd, so it would detonate above them in roughly the middle. Unfortunately he couldn't warn Hera without warning the Eris copies as well, so he was hoping her earlier exhibition of sonic attacks meant she would be able to at least partly resist the bang, and hopefully she could use the distraction to break out of the mob, or at least make herself visible. As soon as the granade detonated, Arcene, sheilded from the effects as a helmet appeared on his head which blocked the bang and blacked out right at the flash to nullify its effects, charged in, Ice Sword sweeping in and cutting into the mob of Eris's. He couldn't risk conventional explosives right now, not with Hera still stuck in this mess of people, even though it was how he would have preferred to take them out. But for now his sword and immense augmented strength would have to do. But do not be afraid... In the darkness, you are never alone

Damn, yer frisky... Dream Vampire Hera; Grade 2 Hera was able to skate further away from the blast, at least. A group of divas weren't as lucky, though. She had a few solutions to her power problem, but one was dangerous for Arcene and the other was tedious for herself, but the latter was chosen. She'd decided to pin one of the clones down while about seven others dog piled her and the rest went to crowd Arcene, ready to claw and bite.. Unfortunately for the pilers, the game would soon end. The pile was slowly edged off, as Hera rose from it, holding a clone close to her chest. Her teeth were sunk into its neck, thick silver-ish fluid dripping and leaking before it faded into nothingness. Hera, her mouth covered in silver blood, began to lick her lips. "...pfft... Yer still just a little girl, Eris... Don't you remember the downside to having this many clones? Hehe..." The pilers began to sit up, teeth bared. "I can take a clone's lifeforce for myself!!" (Clones: 39) But I'm not losin' this one!

Arcene Ryckanis ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You have fallen, fallen into the void... Arcene began to chuckle as the various clones started trying to swarm him, and actually laughed as Hera came floating from her pile, devouring one of the clones. Since he was still in the dream realm, even still here in the castle, fragments of his dreams still had some hold, and that sight brought one to the fore. The bunch of dreamers trying to just claw at his armor were also hopelessly incapable of penetrating it with just that, as Arcene shrugged off grapples and his icy sword swept around, slicing air, flesh and bone with equal ease. Any clone that didn't get out of the way would get chopped up with the sword, while Arcene's massive strength let him keep the rest from stopping him, thanks to the augmented strength given by his armor. Too bad for Eris, she had committed these clones without quite realizing how much help Arcene could actually be to Hera at his full modern ability, when not trapped in his past. But do not be afraid... In the darkness, you are never alone
