Personality: Keita is described as an upbeat, carefree, and optimistic person who lives life the way that makes him happy the most. Most of the time he can be described as a clown as he will commonly make jokes. Despite his mostly positive outlook and open minded behavior he has been left a little bit short changed in a few departments. Keita can also be shown to be a bit naive and gullible. He will believe almost anything that he is told by his superiors. This has left him open to be tricked on numerous occasions in his past. This is something that Keita himself is ashamed and often wishes to put behind him. Keita's misfortunes are backed up by his high self-confidence and determination. Due to his optimism he does not let the opinions of others get under his skin (too much). As long as he feels good about himself then Keita is okay. He is very determined as he has never been known to give up. Loyalty and friendship are held dear to Keita. Although he hasn't made many friends in his life he cherishes the ones that he has. Whenever Keita allies himself with someone they have his full trust till proven otherwise. Keita is quick to lend his trust out to others but is also quick to take it away also. If one loses Keita's trust it is very hard to gain it back as he is a very stern individual. Also whenever Keita has his mind made up about something it is almost impossible to for someone else to change his mind.

- Longbow of Hakushin: The last of the "weapons" used by Saint Hakushin. The Longbow of Hakushin contains plenty of Saint Hakushin's spiritual energy within it giving it abilities similar to the Sacred Bow of Mount Azusa. This means that should Keita shoot an arrow towards a barrier, it possesses the ability to disappear, and then reappear on the opposite side of the barrier. The arrow may also simply crash into the barrier in order to dispel it depending on what Keita will his arrow to do. When Keita infuses her spiritual powers into one of his arrows, he can purify even the strongest and most powerful demon-based attacks such as Kagura's air-based blasts as well as the Wind Scar itself.
Sacred Arrow: Sacred arrows (破魔の矢) are used by someone with high-level spiritual power. They are very powerful and can even make the Tessaiga return to its original state by purifying the demonic energy around the sword. Sacred arrows are hinted to be made from the spiritual object, the Sacred Tree (or the Tree of Ages) from fallen branches, or souls. Sacred arrows are limited to it shooters level of spirituality. The Sacred Arrow is at many times seen to be molded with dirt or part of a corpse to slay a hanyou, daiyoukai, youkai, etc.
Abilities:
- Spiritual Powers/Abilities: Keita is able to erect unusually strong and powerful barriers and perform several mystic spells or enchantments that can be used for both offensive and defensive purposes. Likewise, Keita has the power and ability to break seals, barriers, spells, and detect fragments of the Shikon Jewel wherever they may be.
Purification Abilities: These powers and abilities come in a variety of different forms when used by Keita. They can be used in a variant form of an electrical attack shocking demons or the dead through physical contact. His purification abilities can also be sent outwards as a wall of energy to destroy small demons. Keita can also purify shards of the Shikon Jewel due to the immense amount of Spiritual Power he possesses.
Healing Powers/Abilities: Keita is an extremely skilled and experienced healer and is able to treat and save even those on the brink of death. He is able to see the beings from the Netherworld and can dispose of them with a single touch. A power that has helped him to perform various exorcisms.
Reflection Powers/Abilities: Keita can infuse his spiritual power into his longbow, which will reflect any oncoming demonic energy back at the demon or person. It is very similar to Inuyasha's Backlash Wave.
Archery: Keita has mastered the power of archery. He can easily shoot enemies from long or short distances and has an uncanny power and ability to strike demons from much longer and greater distances.
Bio: Hakushin (白心, はくしん, "White Heart") was a high level Buddhist priest who agreed to sacrifice himself to save his people from a pestilence in the area. He did so, but as he was waiting to die he began to hate his followers who prayed for his death in order that they may be saved. It was at this point that pieces of his soul began to leave his body in large quantities to enter the other world. However, as he rested within the box he began to resent the villagers knowing now that they wished his death so they could be saved. By this point, most of Hakushin's soul had transmigrated into the other world, leaving only a small portion behind with the saint. Naraku would later confront Hakushin within the box to offer him salvation. Following most of his soul leaving, the Saint's soul emerged 500 years later in the form of a small boy. At age four, Keita went missing when he fell into a local river while traveling with his parents. It was this river that brought him into the Feudal Era. Unconscious on the side of the road with water leaking off of his body, he was brought to the Shrine of Saint Hakushin. There he was cared for and trained by the monks that resided there. When picking out a weapon that would help in his task of purification they showed him a red longbow within the back of the shrine. It was said that only those with a relation to the Holy Saint could wield its power. Many could see a resemblance between the young Keita and the holy saint, but as he touched the longbow, both he and the bow disappeared completely. When he awoke again, he was being carried by his father questioning whether or not it had been a dream. Yet, in his arms was the Longbow of Saint Hakushin. From then on, Keita began archery lessons at the nearby dojo until he went to the river at the age of fourteen. He questioned why he had been sent wherever he had been sent, but to no avail. It was not until the Shikon Jewel was shattered that Keita was sent back. The scattering shards showed themselves in the reflection of the river, and has he put his hand out to grab one of them. His hand made contact, and he was sent once more to the Feudal Era. Arriving at the shrine once more he saw that it was under attack. Taking one of the full quivers that was inside of the shrine, he quickly strung the arrow back before letting it loose. The arrow was coated with his spiritual energy and obliterated the large demon. It was then that he was given his mission by the priests/monks. Collect the shards of the jewel and restore it to its fullness. Now he travels with one shard hoping to find the others.
