Paramount has sent over artwork for Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events which stars Jim Carrey, Meryl Streep and Jude Law. The film will be available to own in both single-disc and double-disc editions from the 26th April this year. Seperate full screen releases will also be availale. Extras on the single-disc will include an audio commentary by Director Brad Silberling, a Brad Silberling and the Real Lemony Snicket commentary, deleted scenes, outtakes and three featurettes entitled Building a Bad Actor, Making the Baudelaire Children Miserable and Interactive Olaf. The two-disc set will include all of that, along with featurettes on the world of the film, costumes and disguises, Violet's Functional Designs, incredibly deadly vipers and the sad score. Completing the package will be two features on the sound design, special effects analysis for several scenes and two gruesome galleries entitled Shadowy Stills and A Woeful World.
