Abilities:
Darkness Manipulation - Absorb, create/generate and manipulate darkness/shadow for various effects, sizes, shapes and intensity levels. Depending of the level of strength, one can blanket an entire city in eternal darkness. Mephiles can materialize, shape and manipulate darkness: Animating shadows, whether users own or cast by anything else in order to create tentacles/tendrils, chains and/or threads to attack or bind. Mephiles can also create umbrakinetic Constructs, including weapons, missiles, walls, armor or allies/servants. Mephiles can also make portals/umbrageous teleportation using shadows/darkness by understanding the fundamental connection all shadows/darkness share. He even has his own dimensional Storage to store stuff into shadows, he is able to enter his own pocket dimension. He can draw his power, and can enter there and summon beings/tools from there.
Spirit Physiology - Since Mephiles is a spirt he can fully interpret and replicate the emotions, moods, and temperaments of others without reading apparent symptoms, allowing him to understand introverts or discover one emotion is actually hiding another. Simply put, he can read people's emotions. Mephiles can also do the same with animals and spirits. Diving a bit deeper into Mephiles' empathic abilities, he can cause his targets to experience great fear. So long as his enemies look into his eyes, he can inflict a great fear into their hearts, making him seek all the more fearsome. It doesn't work that well on other Guardians however. Being a spirit grants him the ability of flight, Mephiles has so much practice with this that he can fly at astounding speeds. The spirit can also create illusions which work great in tandem with his empathic abilities, allowing him to create his enemy's worst fears. He can make himself intangible and pass through physical matter making him invulnerable to damage, but this can only be held for a limited amount of time. Mephiles can make himself invisible, and unlike intangibility, he can remain unseen as long as he wants. Things like possession are a bit tricky, not all spirits are capable of pulling it off without getting themselves hurt in the process. Mephiles, being the head spirit, can possess people, but only for a limited time and with that character(user's) consent. While doing so he can't kill the person he is possessing. So long as the person he tries to possess has a strong will, he can't fully control them. They can also gain will while he is possessing the person, causing him to phase out of that person. Being the head spirit, he has a unique power that none other possesses. Whenever a creation of his acts up he can restrain, trap or seal them into a specific place, item or being or prevent them from entering certain areas or possessing beings/items. Mephiles can prevent a ghost from manifesting, prevent an astral projector from entering others bodies, or force ghosts on or off their plane of existence. Mephiles can influence/manipulate/move matter with his mind. Years of practice enable him a wide array of uses such as telekinetic blasts. Although Mephiles can use shadows to move from one place to the next, he can also teleport to places just as easily. He can do this from a short range to a long one. Finally, Mephiles can enter the dreams of others with deep concentration.
Dark Spirit Form - Mephiles proves that spirits are also capable of gaining humanoid forms with practice, but when he isn't in his human form he takes on the image of a dark dragon. Mephiles does have a true form altogether, but for the fear that the other realms would target his home and attack his creations, he underwent a negative emotion induced transformation. As a result he gained a corrupted form of his last. Now that the realms are united he tends to remain in his human-like state so he doesn't scare the other spirits. When he is in his dark spirit form his strength, speed, and defense are increased. He is also able to breathe purple flames and shoot raw beams of purple energy at his opponents.
True Form - Mephiles' true form is a lot less intimidating. In this form he takes on the form a purple dragon with odd looking wings. In this form Mephiles can sing songs which seem to be very good at calming down spirits. His voice can also cause drowsiness. Mephiles can also heal others in this form, but he can only do these things in this form really. Since he looks very less intimidating, he refuses to use this form so that he can be taken seriously by the other realms.

Personality and Bio: Mephiles' past is shrouded in mystery, but it is believed that he took every measure to ensure the safety of the spirit world. He is a music lover and fairly friendly, but he does have this very strange childish side that enjoys pranks. Whether he is in his true form or humanoid form, he is crazy over pranks.
