Centauri moves through the water slowly, enjoying the feel of water sliding over fins and scales, of kelp tickling his belly. The small circles of rainbow colors spotting his scales glowing in the darkness. Much like his parents, he prefers the dark of night to the light of day, allowing him a modicum of stealth. Keeping an eye out for his mate, his witchy woman, the only light in his life.. Piper.

 Piper glides through the water, using her magic to light the way with glittering sparkles, looks for her feathered rainbow of love and her mate, Centauri!
She knows that her mate likes to keep to the shadows, so she searches in the caves to the bottom of the water.

Centauri can see the approaching glow and sparkles, a smile curving his mouth upward. Only one beta he knows of emits a glow like that... He moves forward, exiting the cave to go meet his love. "Piper, love. I'd recognize your light anywhere. You grow more beautiful every time I see you."

"You flatter me, my love! I haven't seen you all day, what have you been up to?"
Piper shoots the sparkles used to light her way up through the water to light up the whole area around them.

Centauri grins and moves towards her, not even flinching as the area lights up, just moving up to wrap his fins around her shoulder to nuzzle her cheek and kiss it. "Nothing especially big. Mostly just working on getting our home set up and trying to force an evolution so I can hold you like I want to."

"I love your kisses! I can't wait for you to hold me in your arms, but none the less no matter if it is fin or arm I could not love you anymore than I already do! You are the love of my life and I can't imagine it without you."
Piper uses her magic to conjure up a bed for them, a beautiful large clam shell.
"See I can help with getting our home together too!"

Centauri grins at the conjured bed, reaching up to wrap his fins around her into another hug, "Yes, you most definitely can! You really are the light of my life, Piper. Whatever would I do without you?"
Moving to the bed, he tests it out with a fin and chuckles, "You are truly full of surprises, love. Wonderful surprises."

Piper blushes, also moving to the bed then goes to lean in for another kiss, "You will never have to find out my dear, I am never going anywhere!"
She bounces up and down on the bed,"This is really comfortable! What else do we need?"

Centauri returns the kiss and chuckles as she bounces onto the bed, stroking a fin over her cheek, "You are truly a delight in every way, love. Lets see... we'll need cooking utensils, curtains for the windows, and you may decorate however you wish." He swims up to rest near her shoulder, smiling up at his Piper, "I want you to be happy with our home."

Piper giggles, "I could be happy with no home at all, as long as I have you in my life that is all that I need!" She moves over to the window over the kitchen sink," Well I think rainbow curtains would be just the right touch. Then when you are away, they can remind me of you and your wonderful feathers."
Piper twirls her hand and poof gorgeous curtains appear on the windows in the house. "Why don't you go find us some dinner, love? By the time you get back this house will be all ready for you."
Piper conjures up a whole kitchen full of utensils and even a kitchen table with a bouquet of sea flowers in the middle. She also makes a couch and a chair out of coral and a rug that sparkles like golden diamonds.

Centauri grins up at her, "I feel the same way, my dear. We can live anywhere or nowhere, so long as we're together." He glances over towards the small window and gives a nod, "See, you are much better at this than I. I would probably have picked some dreary color that would have been horrible."
He smiles and swims over to kiss her cheek, "I trust in your judgment love, I'll be back in a trice with dinner." Heading off to play the big provider, he's not gone too long, back within half an hour and tugging a rather large bundle behind him. Letting it fall on the sink, he grins up at her, "I found a whole host of scallops and greens for us! Easy pickings, and plenty of them for the both of us!" All plumped up proud of himself, he moves towards the rest of the house, stopping to stare at the changes, "Oh my... you do have good taste. Much better than my own."
