Two sets if eyes would look back at Burnout along with Jasmine's lone one, the Lampent really was making no disillusion of his impatience with the girl and their various side quests, but no one would call him out on it yet.
As Jasmine would simply pocket the mushroom, eyes turned forward again... Was it just her or was the path thinning out?

Jasmine would find that the path wasn't merely thinning out, but ending. Rather then a sea of lush trees she'd abruptly find herself faced with a solid wall of rock, rugged and certainly not moving out of her way any time soon. Down the way however she'd feel a chill, and the next stretch of her journey would be made clear. Just a ways down from her left was the mouth of a cavern, the opening filled with jagged icicles resemblant of the teeth of some great beast. Good thing she was well covered, cause it was about to get cold!

Jasmine drew in her breath, and felt it bite at her lungs and throat, then exhaled and watched as vapours misted and her breath curled and slid through the air... well... this was quite an extreme from the last area...
But nonetheless, they would move forward and keep going, as she turned to Burnout... "Think you could light the way?"
Regardless of his disapproval of their acts, the Lampent certainly was the one who wanted to be over and done with this fastest, it was no surprise to see him leap forward, his flame opening bit by bit, ready to keep them lit and ready for any surprises that could possibly appear before them...

On through the cold and harsh rock they went, but the ground was no challenge for Ironclaw, living up to her name as her feet would move, claws would latch and bite into the stone, moving with a firm clacking motion as she would keep behind the lamp, but although the metal protected her from the cold against her body...
[Make sure you're not touching my body bare.] She would warn as she glanced back at Jasmine past her goggles. [I don't want you to end up freezing against me in this cold with my metal feathers!]
"Just as well there's not much of me TO be bare, huh?" Jasmine laughed haphazardly, waving a bandage covered hand to the Skarmory, who would simply nod as they proceeded further.
(Have you looked at Shuckle's stats recently? With the way the guild combat system works it's basically broken, and so I make a point to never let anyone get a Shuckle. Ever.)
What Jasmine would first encounter within the cave was a bit of an odd sight. For Snorunt, all in a row, twisting this way and that, an in front of them a Nosepass. One of the four would sit on what appeared to be an Ice Gem, the jewel disappearing beneath their body before the Pokemon began to move...in fact all of them began to move! Swapping themselves about like a bunch of cups, the location of the gem swiftly became uncertain, and when they were done it was surely a mystery!
Yet still when the Pokemon were done the Nosepass would point...and ultimately fail, as one Snorunt stood up to reveal the gem was not beneath them, and then all four proceeded to freeze the Rock-Type solid!

It was quite the sight to behold for a first encounter, as Jasmine watched on at the spectacle, that was quite a mean trick to pull on the Nosepass...
[I suppose you'll want a go of course?] Burnout harrumphed with a. Puff of smoke.
"Not quite..." Jasmjne watched on carefully from where they had entered, "Let's gjve them a second to see if they leave or not... It's that Nosepass who's the one in need of help here. As soon as they make a move either way, we'll see whether or not we need to step in..."
It was of course at this point that the Nosepass would shatter, chunks of it's icy remains bouncing across the floor. Once this was done the Snorunt would swarm about, grabbing the frozen chunks of Rock-Type and begin gnawing away hungrily. Well one supposed even in the Dream World a Pokemon needed to eat...or was this the twisted results of the Nightmare?
The answer to that question wouldn't come however, as upon noticing the girl's presence...it was sort of hard given she had the only light in the place...the Snorunt would resume their earlier positions. It seemed they were offering her the same game; though from the brazen way they presented it, all likely said the Nosepass had known what losing meant.

A collective flinch went all through the party as the Nosepass would shatter and be consumed all at once, but quickly the Sortunt shuffled and presented themselves once again...
Did they really need to play this game to advance?
"Excuse me?" Jasmine raised a brow and looked to all four Snorunt there, "Exactly what do I win if I play your game? Considering you're asking pretty big stakes?"
In response to the girl's question the Pokemon would dart behind a rock, returning a few short moments with a large, bulky cardboard box marked with a very large ? on the front. Apparently the prize was 'The Mystery Box'. Now how could anyone resist that? The Mystery Box could be anything! It could even be a boat! Probably not a big one, but still!
