I've really wanted to start a superhero RP but I haven't seen one before, which is strange. Is it a genre that is usually avoided?

avoided...huh. I am quite fond of the superhero idea myself but it is somewhat hard to limit that kind of rp. It is not an avoided topic, just a hard one to do.
