~Lets Go On An Adventure~Melissa Weyland was the name. Quite OCD and very particular about how she liked her coffee. Wiping off a few crumbs on the front counter before looking up at the cashier, she had a smile on her face as he rolled his eyes at her. She'd want her usual, Vanilla non-decaf, with cream no taller then half an inch and cinnamon sprinkled on the top. She was the reason this man had to bring a ruler to work. Turning her head to no one, she asked, "Are you sure you don't want anything?" The girl was mad! The whole town knew this, but she was the daughter of a rising author and lived with a respectable family high up in the social status. She didn't like it much though. She was much more of a hipster that enjoyed the good things in life that didn't involve a television or a limo at that..."Alright then, suit yourself," the girl said to nothing. The cashier handed Melissa --or Liss-- her coffee and she went to sit in her usual spot by the window. This was all part of her daily routine, being out of highschool and all. The young eighteen year old was a genius, just finished her sophmore year at college this morning. This was her mini victory party, her favorite drink and the empty chair in front of her that she talked to."You know. You don't say much out in public." She said rather bluntly. A few moments later, she burst out laughing. "Thank you for that captain obvious, my name is lieutenant sarcasm. Welcome aboard "The S.S well duh."

"To me you’re clear, transparent. You’ve got a thing for me girl. It’s apparent."With a shake of his head he showed Liss he didn't want anything, not like he was drink it anyway, walking himself over to the table the tall dark haired Vampire sat himself down. Demetrius had no worries of anyone freaking out or starring, no one but Liss could see him. Lifting his head from looking down at his pale hands a toothy grin appeared on his face baring his bright white fangs after hearing her comment about him not talking much. "Wouldn't want anyone eavesdropping out conversation." He joked sarcastically, smiling at her last comment Demetrius looked around the shop before leaning back in his seat and placing his hands on the back of his neck. "Besides, coffee isn't really my cup of tea if you know what I'm getting at." Before Liss could reply a little boy came running over to the table, it was Benjamin, Liss' younger brother. The little blonde boy hopped into the seat right next to Demetrius, of course thinking the Vampire wasn't their do to the lack of sight on him the boy scooted closer, and closer. Demetrius shifted over, at this point he had no space to sit with out the boy feeling him and freaking out, the Vampire stood up and shifted onto the table, looking down at the boy with a look of anger Demetrius hissed loudly at him sitting himself on the table as he pressed his back against the window. "Hey Liss? Give me twenty bucks, I need it." Benjamin asked rudely.

"To me you’re clear, transparent. You’ve got a thing for me girl. It’s apparent."Benjamin didn't seem to be to happy with the answer he got, rolling his eyes at his sister he leaned over the table a little more. "If you don't help me out with this one, I'll tell dad your still talking to your imaginary Vampire boyfriend." The little blonde boy threatened with a cheeky grin on his lips. The threat quickly caught Demetrius' attention, he looked over at the boy and leaned over him pulling his nose like a pig. "And your a little brat rat!" He hissed at the boy before standing on the table and walking over behind Liss, sitting on the top of her seat he leaned over her a little watching Benjamin beg. "Common Liss, I'll never bother you again! He pleaded. "Hopefully." Demetrius shot back with a devious smirk.

Liss would never have kids and that was a fact. She was hoping for a stress free day and that didn't involve little brothers black mailing her to get what he wants. ”Fine.” Reaching into her purse, she had a small smirk on her face when she listened to Demetrius's comments. Pulling out a twenty dollar bill, she handed it to Benjamin. She'd love to know what he would do if he saw the vampire making faces at him. "Now get lost before my vampire boyfriend sucks you so dry you'll look like a deflated whoopie cushion." She snapped at him before taking another sip of her coffee. Why couldn't she have been an only child? Clicking her heels together, she waited for the pest to go away before continuing her conversation with Demetius. After he didn't leave for a bit, she threw her hands up in the air and looked at the ceiling...not really. She was looking at Demetrius.

"To me you’re clear, transparent. You’ve got a thing for me girl. It’s apparent."Watching as the twenty was given to the bratty boy Demetrius smirked and leaned back a little as Liss raised her arms. Letting out a devious laugh he places his hands on hers before his attentioned was brought back to the young blonde boy as he spoke. "Sweet, thanks Liss. See ya later." Ben cheered before getting out of the booth and running out of the cafe. Watching the boy leave the white blue eyed vampire smirked, he slowly took his hands off of Liss and placed them on her shoulders leaning on her slightly. "Dont fall in a hole on your way home!" He shouted after Ben. Looking down at Liss Demetrius smiled showing off his bright white fangs as he softly squeezed her shoulders. "What are us crazy aliens gonna do today?" He asked.

Outfit
Liss snickered at Demetrius's last comment towards her little brother, but was completely caught off guard about what to do with her day. She hadn't really thought ahead about that. "I don't know, what do you want to do?" She asked, placing her hands on top of his. Although, from everyone else's point of view, her arms were crossed like she was about to be laid in a coffin and buried in the ground. Of course, she had every intention of being dead. She just had to convince Demetrius to change her. "Weirdo." A girl with a high blonde updo said as she passed Liss. That didn't phase her though. She always was a little strange...but mama always said she was special and she believed her. "We could go for a walk in central park?" She suggested. A little fresh air would do them both some good, even though Demetrius didn't breathe.

"To me you’re clear, transparent. You’ve got a thing for me girl. It’s apparent."Shrugging slightly at her reply Demetrius looked down at her hands as she placed them over his, the tall cold vampire laced their fingers together and glanced over at the blonde female who commented on Liss. Arching his eyebrows he leaned forward a little and hissed at the female as she walked off. Hearing Liss after her next comment the dark haired male looked down at her as a smile came to his pale lips, he nodded at her suggestion and slowly stood on the back of her chair. Jumping to the ground the six foot three male turned towards Liss and held out his hand. "Shall we go for a walk in the mist of humans." He jokingly asked.

Mєℓℓιѕѕa Wєyℓand Liss smiled at Demetrius before standing up and taking his hand. "We shall. But no mooning the passerbys!" Liss laughed to herself before grabbing her purse and linking arms with Demetrius, half skipping towards the exit of the Berkli Parc Cafe and heading out into the warm sunny day. Downtown Manhattan was their playground and Wall Street was their yellow brick road. It was an enjoyable city with all the noises, street performers and smells all around. Yellow taxi's adorned the streets like bright festive decorations, which seemed appropriate for the time being. Liss was feeling like a superstar and wanted to celebrate her success. Even if it was just with Demetrius whom she loved. Passing a few lights and making a short distance towards 72nd street, they continued down the crowded sidewalk until the got up to Central Park. The trees were in full bloom, the brook was babbling away, though no one knew not what it said. Except for Liss. She always had a wild imagination. Clinging a little tighter to Demetrius as they walked down the path. A troop of girl scouts pointed and stared at Liss but she didn't mind as they walked on by. She usually got odd looks, but no genius is ever taken seriously anyway. "So what's on your mind?"
ooc: Sorry it took so long. I have been dealing with my boyfriend and I breaking up and trying to find a job and registering for school. Moving sucks....But I'm back. Here's Liss's Outfit.
