You've all seen me with donation items. However, dispite all of the donation items I have, I have not donated not even once to Gaia. Do I deserve these items? I did buy them all fair and square from the Market and Exchange.

Yeah it's fair. It wouldn't be fair if you couldn't buy and sell donation items. I've only donated once but I have several donation items. I just got my Baby Seal Slippers finally.

o_O You can sell fishing trophies if you wanted to. Do the people that just want the trophy for looks deserve such item given to the most active fisher of Gaia, just because that person has money?
.. Of course. >_< They get their work's worth in gold. Suitable amount of gold that they'd want for it anyway. Besides, that's what a lot of people have in mind when they donate for multiple letters. It's because people who don't, or simply can't donate to Gaia would buy it off of them. Without people like us buying donation items from them, those people wouldn't be donating extras to Gaia. So no matter what way you get these donation items, aslong as you get them, you're helping out Gaia donation wise as well.

They have to put new life into the gaia economy somehow. What would we do if it was all regular items?

I don't see any problem with buying donation items off of others. Like Locke said, these donation letter 'salesmen' are making up for a lot of that anyhow. I don't know about the fishing trophies though...are you talking about trophies, like the medals for art, or the stuff like the fish hats?
