Mei couldn't raise three children in the little one bedroom apartment she had occupied before, so upon returning to Nirvani, she purchased this little three-bedroom house with her savings, and a little help from her mother. It's a quaint little house, neat and femininely decorated. At one point, Mei tried to turn it into her dream home, complete with flowers on every table and pretty furniture, but having three toddlers quickly destroyed those plans. Now, she's content as long as its clean.

Mei's bedroom, is exactly as it was back at her apartment, before she went crazy and rearranged the furniture every week or so. The children's bedrooms are virtually unchanged from how Mei decorated them when they were children. Yue's bedroom was originally intended for Jian, but she couldn't stand sharing a room with Chun Fei, so they switched and she's redecorated in the years since. Mei worries that it's too boyish for her, but she's quite content. The twins' bedroom is surprisingly organized, with plenty of extra space. Mei had tried to separate the twins when they hit puberty, but they were much too stubborn. In addition, there's also a kitchen and a living room.

Left in the mail box is a flier.

"To the guardian(s) of Jian Li, Grade 10, and Chun Fei Li, Grade 11.

The schoolhouse has come under new management and, with it, a new name. To celebrate this, we will be holding a festival on Fall 1st. I hope you can come and join us, please, it would be nice if you could do it. You can meet your child(ren)'s teacher, Mr. Pearson, and even some of the other staff! If you want to, that is, please don't force yourself if you can't make it. We understand, even if I think your child would benefit a lot more if you decided to come with them and spend this quality time. Children need a lot of quality time to be happy.

Please come and volunteer if you want to.

Yoakim Jr. Waldroup
Principal of Little Red Hen Schoolhouse

One of the last stops of the night was a familiar house. Mei was one of Lily's oldest followers, and one of her favorites. She was so ladylike and gentle, and she had raised those three children on her own -- though none of them had turned out much like their mother. Furthermore, she had worked with those scary doctors in that terrible clinic for more than twenty-five years, and she still managed to be lovely, if not a little... strained. But that was impressive. As Lily entered the house, she noticed that she was the first one there -- again? She didn't let it bother her, and instead went to the living room. She set down a box on the coffee table, a long, flat box with a floral pattern on the blue wrapping paper. The box contained a wind chime made of bamboo, a wooden cherry blossom hanging from the center. Lily set a blue letter addressed to Mei Hwa Li and then went off to the next house~

Lavender had saved the best house of all for last! No, it wasn't the best because of the little boy that she had to visit. Even though he was her youngest and still had the most potential ahead of him, he wasn't the reason behind her happiness. Her overwhelming joy came from who she knew would be in this house at some point over the course of the night. She carefully weaved her way into the room of Chun Fei to make sure that the wonderful Orchid had not yet arrived, and to her glee, she had not. Now that she didn't have to worry about that, she turned her focus back to her own little Jian. She crept into his room and smiled down upon him. Just because she hadn't seen that much of him didn't mean that he wasn't a wonderful little follower. He still had plenty of time to keep her happy! He seemed to be making efforts to go out and make some friends, and that was pleasing. Although she did wish that he would spend some more time with those lovely little girls that frolicked around his school. There were so many options! He just needed to pick one already and get on with it. She patted his hair gently, sending a small prayer to the goddess for many women on his behalf. She then turned to the small table and placed a tiny fish bowl containing a threadfin rainbow. Next to it was an envelope addressed to Jian Li. Now with all of her gifts presented to everyone, she dashed off to wait in Chun Fei's closet to catch a peek at Orchid.

The next stop of the evening was to the Li household! Chun Fei was growing up so fast and it was oh so very exciting to watch! This girl was beautiful and perfect and, even if her siblings weren’t as intelligent. She had attended a birthday party with that cute little Brain boy (even if he was under Carnation). Oh, Orchid sure hoped that that didn’t blossom into anything. That wouldn’t be a relationship worth supporting. That side of the Waldroups was just so… so… mangy! Flirty little friendships were fun. That way she could have some sort of idea on how to carry herself when it actually mattered! When the handsome men with the thick wallets came around, Chun Fei would be ready! For now, she would just need to keep that attendance up, because who really cared about beautiful girls grades anyway? For her lovely work this year, Orchid left a box containing several shades of eye shadow. Next to this, was a letter addressed to Chun Fei Li. Now that another house was done, she hurried off to the next.

Hyacinth popped into the Li household shortly after the other fairies had come and gone, wasting no time in going up the stairs to find the room of the oldest Li daughter – Yue Li. Now, the girl hardly counted as a real resident of Nirvani Island, considering she had been gone for the majority of the year since starting her education, but.. Hyacinth wouldn't dream of holding something like that against her! After all, she would soon return to the island with enough education to put the majority of the islanders to shame! Soon after, surely, she would build herself up to monopolize the market and become the most successful follower Hyacinth had ever been blessed with, Judith included! The fairy paused as she reached the empty bedroom of Yue. Perhaps.. She had misconstrued what the girl was actually like with all this time away from her. ….Nonsense! Yue would become close to a queen upon her return! And the cup of ever-hot apple tea that she left on her desk would help her in her ascent! Confident in that, Hyacinth left the room and her gift to carry on with her work.
