Well, Sethrian's team had been knocked out pretty early on and there was nothing to do but watch a bunch of women...pelt each other with tomatoes.
He could think of worse things to do with an afternoon. The field was a complete mess and even after being out, Sethrian had to dodge a few tomatoes because all the ones that missed their targets had to go somewhere. Fortunately he only got hit a couple more times--usually from lack of paying attention for incoming projectiles.
His shirt was soaked in tomato juice and he kind of wanted to strip the wet t-shirt off but he felt like it would be showing off to strip after the fact. But, really...he was sticky. And it was disgusting. He should have just taken the stupid shirt off before hand so he could avoid getting it messed up. With a sigh, Seth hesitated before pulling the shirt over his head. He was late to the party, as ever. But it was better than walking home with tomato juice running down his back.

Javor really had no clue what was happening. Someone said he'd won something and handed him a trophy that he had no idea what he was going to do with it (maybe use it for a weather vane on the cat house he wanted to build for his missing cat?). So after he had been told he won a thing--though it seemed like the short woman had really done most of the winning), he had taken to wandering around the field looking for interesting people. And there were a lot of them. In fact, there was one woman without a shirt (
Quinn) and Javor became quite fixated on her spine.
It was very becoming and he could just pick out the individual vertebrae toward the top of her back. Javor wandered closer, gaze slowly trailing up and down her spine, transfixed at the sight. And when he got close enough, he grabbed her by the shoulders and leaned over to give the top of her spine a good, slow lick, his tongue lightly tracing the shapes of the bones beneath her skin. Yes. She definitely had a very lovely spine.
He wandered away from her, but there were several other victims to his hydrostatic molestation. There was a mostly naked man (
Rose) with a very interesting little tie (it was one of the only things he was wearing, in fact). Javor was very curious about that and even though he was speaking with another man, he simple wandered up, leaned in and took a lick before retreating thoughtfully.
By the time he saw
Vi, he was starting to feel much better about not licking Xeiro's tattoo. The compulsion had actually nearly stopped entirely until he spotted her toes. Her toes were complete covered in tomato bits and juice. It was sticky and messy. And with her toenails already painted a bright, shiny red, it made them look like they had exploded. It was disturbing and sad because she had very shapely toes. And mostly Javor just...really...couldn't stop himself. He dropped his trophy on the grass and went down one knee in front of Vi and, without really thinking, leaned down and ran his tongue over the top of her toes.
At least they'd used nicely ripe tomatoes for the competition...

Murren had made her way through an entire bottle of whiskey alone. No one had seemed to want to drink with her so she was just going to drink alone! There were lots of people around anyway so it wasn't like she was really drinking alone. And one bottle of whiskey wasn't enough to make her even a little tipsy, much less actually drunk.
Sort of.
Okay, she might be a little drunk. A little.
But not so drunk she couldn't see a short white haired girl win the day. "Och! Good on yer, yer wee little thin'!" she called. "Yer show 'em a thin' or two!" She tipped the bottle up and drained the last of it a bit sadly.
Hmm....should she start on the next one here or wait until she got home. Oh! She should go home and ride a llama! Omigosh that sounded like it would just be the funnest thing EVER right about now. Llama rides for everyone!
She could charge for it. Yup. Murren dropped the empty bottle in her bag (mustn't litter of course), ignoring the sound of breaking glass as she threw the bag over her shoulder and started off the field very carefully walking around a large pile of squished tomatoes that were about three feet to the right of where she seemed to think they were.

"Oh you are?" Eoin said, straightening. He pocketed the voodoo doll and looked down at the young man, adopting a more serious tone. Oh wait. He was the one who was mostly naked and wearing a strange little tie...did someone just walk up and lick that tie, then wander off again? What?
Eoin temporarily forgot was he was going to say as he wondered if the tomatoes were fermented. Actually, did fermented tomatoes affect one's behavior? Could you even ferment tomatoes? What would fermented tomatoes taste like? Should he experiment to find out--oh.
"Oh, it was merely curiosity," he told Rose, realizing that anyone who walked around in a tie and speedo probably wouldn't do much to calm Angela down. Goodness, he might make her worse. Eoin could only imagine the horrors in store if she started walking around in nothing but a tie and speedo.
Though she already did that at home anyway, no matter how often he asked her to stop. "You simply appeared to be here alone and I thought it a shame that such a good looking young man didn't have a girlfriend. I'm sure it makes you father sad as well." He patted Rose's back awkwardly and sighed. Well, at least Angela won? That should put her in a good mood. Oh! He ought to go congratulate her...if he could just find her.

Angela was ecstatic. Not only did she knock out that one guy (okay, so it had taken three throws...but she had finally done it!) but she'd also been the last one standing. Her dodging skills had been remarkably better than her throwing skills today, which was a little weird but she was okay with it.
And since she won, her other two team mates had won as well. The short, odd man had sort of wandered off straight away and Angela lost him amongst all the people. But the other one...
"You know, I rather believe one or both of you owe me dinner," she told
Garland. "And since the creepy one left, that leaves you."
Hey. It might be a little shameless to ask be treated, but she had managed to stay in and get their team to win. She felt that was deserving of some kind of reward that was better than the weird little trophy. And it was a good chance to get to know someone else on the island.
Two birds, one stone and all that.

Whoa! That had been totally crazy. Tomatoes were flying left and right and people were stripping off their clothes--one woman even took her shirt off completely! It was amazing (she had a great rack too! Not that Tshila liked women but, you know, one couldn't help but notice when she was bouncing all over the field like that). Anyway, it had been totally fun.
Tshila was standing on the sidelines, basically cheering for everyone the whole time because that was the best part of these kinds of things. She was kind of sad when Vi got out--she even booed the girl that got her out. Good-naturedly, of course. And she was also sad when Xeiro got out (she booed that person too) because those were really the only two people she knew outside the circus and all her team mates were out before she was even.
At any rate, the festival was winding down and people were being awarded tomatoes and she really didn't know what she was going to do with them all other than make spaghetti or something. But she really didn't have anyone to invite, really.
"Anyone....want to come over for spaghetti?" she called jokingly.

Umi was a little sad that her team lost since they were doing so well for a while but it looked like Jacob was the one taking it the hardest. She walked him slink off the field, immediately feeling bad for teasing him earlier. "
Todd," she said, finding their other team mate. "I think Jacob is taking it hard that he did not win. We should talk to him, you know, inspire a little. Make him feel better? What do you think? Come on?"
She started away from him and toward where she'd last seen Jacob.
Poor guy. It was probably worse for him that he'd been beaten by a bunch of girls. She had sort of gotten the feeling that he didn't think that was possible.
