Function : The Khanda has a straight, double-edged blade that broadens near the tip. The blade itself is quite broad and heavy, and transforms into the tip rather abruptly. The hilt has a metal spike coming out of the bottom that is typical of the Khanda.
Unlike other straight-bladed swords, the Khanda is poorly designed for thrusting, instead being used for hacking and slicing. Function : The Gambol Shroud is classified as a Variant Ballistic Chain Scythe. It has a gray colored sheath with a sharp edge, similar to an oversized cleaver. Although serving as a sheath, it does possess a cutting edge and can be used effectively as a weapon. The Gambol Shroud, when unsheathed, appears to be a dark gray katana and is equally as effective, if not more, than its sheath. The essence of both is that they fit together as one but come out to be two, so that they are compact for easier carrying. When in sheathed form, the Gambol Shroud is held by the hilt, but when the two components separate, the sheath is held by a small rectangular hole near the bottom. The katana also has a semi-automatic senbon pistol built into its guard, which can be used to fire at point blank range. The Katana can also transform into a pistol form with the gun barrel pointed in the opposite direction of the sharp end with thin black chain that wraps around the allowing the weapon to be freely swung around like a Kusarigama. The weapon features a small but compact chamber that can store up to as many as 1000 senbon at a time and it can fire at a rate 10 senbon per second
