The fox continued to stalk his prey... He could almost smell the fear and apprehension pouring off of him. The longer they walked, the stronger it got, and the louder the red head's own heartbeat became in his ears... No, that wasn't his heart beat, his heart was steady, unfailing, unfaultering... it was the one he was following... the light beads of sweat that began to form on the back of his neck, behind his ears, along his hairline. The slight way that his breathing picked up... The Fox felt the corners of his mouth turn up, could almost feel the way his pupils began to slit and elongate... This was something he hadn't done in years, stalking someone with the intent to... No. Nogi actually paused briefly in his steps as he blinked out of turn. No. He wasn't stalking prey, this male before him wasn't something he was hunting, it wasn't something he was going to end and destroy. This was a man, a Mage, possibly a person he could recruit into his guild... His pupils quickly returned to normal, his near sneer falling away as quickly as it tried to form. He wasn't the Fox, he was the Guild Master of Blue Pegasus, a Mage looking for others to join him, a Human. Or at least, as Human as he could be anymore.
Black nails ran along his palms hidden beneath the long sleeves of his top as his body relaxed. His muscles were taunt, he hadn't even noticed that he had been preparing to quite literally pounce on the poor boy. The price he paid for his Magic... The price he would pay until the day he died. Then it would end with him, he had no desire to put another through what he had went through, no matter how much they might wish to learn. He had been a fool... and his Master senile for even allowing him to learn, to taste the forbidden Magic that had consumed every bit of him. When the young man stopped suddenly, Nogi very nearly did run into him, teetering a bit as he stopped to keep himself from bumping into the black haired male before taking a few steps back to give them a comfortable distance.
Apparently he had more gall than when he had first stepped off the train... Or was that a waver in his voice that the red head noticed... The Fox within him wanted to toy with him, to taunt and tease him... However, he was not the Fox... Not now. There was no reason to bring that beast to the surface. Now, he was Nogi, the Leader of Blue Pegasus, and he had to act as such. He smiled at the man, his eyes turning up at the corners as he held up his hands, though the long sleeves draped over and didn't allow his hands to actually show, giving him an almost comical look. "Oh no. I moved so you didn't actually fall onto me. Even if you had, that is not why I am following you. And I find I must apologize for simply following you, but I was curious about you." he replied softly, letting his hands slowly fall back to his sides as he opened his eyes fully to look at the other, "However, I did notice that you seem a bit lost... And I happened to hear you asking the Mage from before about his Guild. Are you by any chance, in the market to join one?" he let his head fall slightly to the side as he spoke, his long hair falling over his shoulder as he looked at the other, awaiting to see his reaction.

Azrael's eyes narrowed. His mind began to ponder as to what this man was getting at. Perhaps he intended to recruit him? But he didn't know anything about him. What if he was from a dark guild? That could explain the stalking. But what reason would a dark guild recruiter be looking at Azrael for? Perhaps he looked a little gothic, a little 'shady,' but the shyness he clearly showed should have counter acted that. Perhaps its because he just duked out a battle of words with a regular mage? it wasn't something to brag about, that's for sure. Azrael's time with Draegon taught him that much.
Still Azrael couldn't help but take a step back his hands clenching to fists once more. As his eyebrow brow raised, the room around them began to die down in activity. It was rather late in the day now. It almost left them alone. Although Nogi came off so peaceful, Azrael couldn't help but feel some sort of suppressed hostility. He also could see the faint edges of black nails under those robes. Long robes, long nails. Was that the grinding noise Azrael couldn't help but hear earlier? It almost made Azrael shudder. But he decided he shouldn't show any sort of hesitation around this man. The step back was his first strike. He wasn't aiming to get another. So he let his hands rest and smiled a bit at his current situation."That'd be correct. What value is this information to you though?" Azrael immediately wanted to figure out why Nogi was acting so suspiciously earlier. Be it out of sheer curiosity, or for his own safety Azrael was going to ask.
So with blood on my hands, I shall forge a story to be told to gods.XxXxX
The young man was rather cheeky wasn't he? It almost made Nogi laugh as the boy squared up to him, at first as if he was wanting to fight him, but the slight step back that he took showed that he was still hesitant. About his own skills perhaps? About how he would fare against Nogi? Either way, it didn't matter. Nogi wasn't here looking for a fight. "Well, as a matter of fact, I am looking for people that aren't affiliated with a Guild yet. You see, I belong to Blue Pegasus, and am out looking for members. Recruiting, if you would." he replied with a smile, holding out a sleeve covered hand to the other man, "I am Nogi by the way."

Azrael paused, he racked his brain for info on the famous guild Blue Pegasus. Azrael couldn't help but smile, he got lucky. It was a good guild to make a name for himself. He glanced downward to shake Nogi's hand but couldn't help but pause, what an awkward way to shake hands. His hand was covered up by his long robe sleeve, and while the robe was quite fancy, this was weird. Which is why Azrael hesitated to try and shake this guys hand. Simply put, after a slight pause Azrael took his hand and smiled to him."Azrael Saneam. Its a pleasure, and I am very much interested. Perhaps we should continue this discussion at the guild? It is rather late." His voice trailed off for a moment, but was replaced with a smile. Azrael was quite eager to see the guild, and be initiated in. He was also interested in what Nogi thought of the Saneam bloodline. They were quite a famous family. A major financial backer to the Council.

Nogi noticed the slight hesitation, be it because he was thinking on whether to take his offer or not, the male wasn't sure. The only reason he could think that he wouldn't want to take up his offer would be if he had had his heart set on a different guild. Not Mermaid Heel, otherwise he would have ran after that first boy, hopefully not Raventail... They were nothing but trouble with their half stable Guild Master. Fairytail was an obvious choice for a beginner, they were rather popular and well known. But after a moment, the boy, who introduced himself as Azreal, took hold of his hand and shook it, then suggested that they continue their discussion at the Guild Hall. Nogi chuckled, letting his hand fall back to his side after they had shook, "Not afraid of the dark are you now?" he teased with a soft laugh before waving for the boy to follow him, "But that is a good idea. Come then, follow me. Perhaps you can tell me a bit more about yourself as we walk." he half asked and half suggested, if for no other reason than to fill the empty air between them that would form if they were to walk in silence as he started toward the Blue Pegasus Guild.

Azrael smirked a bit. He had heard the discriminating stories about his family. They were all believed to be some mythical creature that would feast on blood, and drink it. Vampires. Creatures of the night. If that were the case perhaps Azrael shouldn't be so afraid of it. He wasn't he just didn't like shady situations, especially near a stranger like this one. As far as Azrael was concerned, Nogi was just a recruiter, not a Guild Leader. Yet the way he carried himself was a bit different, Azrael wasn't sure if all recruiter's acted on beast-like instincts, but Nogi was giving something off that reminded him of a fox. It had to be the hair. Although Azrael found that style a bit odd, he found it intriguing as well. Azrael had taken a shine to other cultures. The Victorian style that he grew up in was rather different than the people around him. Speaking of himself though, it was Nogi leaving cause for him to discuss his past with him. Azrael couldn't help but scavenge his thoughts for stories that might be, decent to be told. He had to speak soon too, or else the air would be filled with the constantly dreaded awkwardness.
"I grew up with the esteemed Saneam Bloodline. We specialize in forbidden magic, uh...Blood magic. Which isn't as grotesque as it seems. Anyways, my family was, well wealthy. As a child I didn't quite know what I was doing, but today I've blocked most ties to my family. They didn't quite like me, I was just a pest anyways. Soon I was living with my Uncle Draegon. Whom taught me my magic. He is, well. He is alright for himself. I heard he is travelling to a more homelike place. Azrael paused a moment to explore his mind for another topic. "My goal is to work on reaching my full potential with my magic. Though I do wonder, what is yours?
So with blood on my hands, I shall forge a story to be told to gods.XxXxX
As they walked along, the young man spoke about himself. From the way he started off, his family was supposedly rather important, calling it an 'esteemed bloodline'. His next sentence explained why, most people that used forbidden Magic always thought themselves to be a bit better class than most... That or they viewed themselves as homicidal murderers that did the Gods work by eradicating others... Or were just plain insane. His explanation of his family's magic, Blood Magic, was rather vague at best, saying that it wasn't as grotesque as it sounded before he went on to explain his home life and the way he grew up, speaking fondly of an uncle that raised him while saying that he had cut ties with the remainder of his family. Odd, for one that supposedly came from such a high end family. Most of the time, especially one that used Forbidden Magics, weren't they trying to keep their family members close, so as to not let the secrets of their magic out to the rest of the world? It didn't really matter either way, so long as Azrael's family didn't try to do an assault on his Guild in an attempt to reclaim their family member, then he was fine with it.
He then said that his goal was to work on reaching his full potential. A rather bland goal that was as generic as the word Mage itself, but still, for someone just starting out in the world of Magic it was a good one. He then turned the question to him, what was his goal the young man wondered. This brought a small smile to Nogi's face. His goal... at one time it had been to cause as much destruction and mayhem as possible. To bathe the world red in its own blood... Now though, his goal was much simpler, and more accepted, "Simple, my goal is to assist the Blue Pegasus to become the greatest Mage Guild that it can possibly be." he replied, looking over to the young Mage next to him with a light smile, his rust brown eyes almost sparkling. That was in truth his goal, though, it was probably the goal of every Guild Master. To strive to make their Guild the best out there, more world renowned than the one next to them. Still though, he had yet to tell the young man that he was the Guild Master... That could always wait until later. "So, you mentioned that yours is a Forbidden Magic known as Blood Magic? What does that entail, if you don't mind me asking." he wanted to know as much about his new found charge as he could by the time they arrived at Blue Pegasus.

Azrael bit his tongue a moment deciding his next words. He did not know a lot about his magic. But he did see the things his uncle could do. Stringing the blood, and wearing it as if armor. Diffusing his blood from his body and falling to the ground limp, but then freely moving and manipulating a new form, entirely made up of blood. Azrael strove to be him, to surpass him. He knew little things about his magic, which is why he suddenly grabbed Nogi by the hand, took his nail and cut his own arm across the top. Gently letting go he manipulated the blood dripping down from the new gash and made it float and dance in the air. His arm falling limp to his side. Twirling his fingers he watched as the blood took the shape of a ballerina and danced and twirled just as a dancer would. Azrael let the magic speak for itself, and when Nogi saw his own share of it, roughly 10 minutes, the blood slowely sank back into Azrael's arm. Because of his bloodlines quick healing abilities. It was working rather faster than he had anticipated today, but he hoped Nogi wouldn't take notice so as to not receive false information, but Azrael didn't bet on it. Azrael couldn't help but notice a small hint of a change in Nogi's eyes before he spoke his dream. Perhaps he was reflecting on past dreams, perhaps.

You can post response in the guild hall if you wanted, just so that we're actually there. Or after you give Nogi's reaction to the blood. For all I know you might have him attack me.
The young man went quiet, making the red head wonder if perhaps he had said something to upset him. All he had done was ask about his magic. It was natural for another Mage to be curious about another's Magic, wasn't it? Perhaps since it was a family bred magic the boy was reserved about sharing it with an outsider that he just met. However, the young man suddenly grabbing his hand caused him to stop walking and look at him. While the arm that the young man had a hold of was limp and letting him do with what he wanted, the rest of his body was tense and ready for anything. He didn't flinch or even blink as the boy cut his arm with his fingernail, watching as the boy's blood pooled up under his black nail, the red head simply looked on.
It was astounding, what he could do with his blood. The red head arched a brow in interest as the blood moved to the whim of the other before retracting back into his arm. He did indeed notice how quickly the wound healed, but said nothing of it, simply noting it in the back of his mind. "Very interesting indeed. Is it your blood only that you can control? Or are you able to do that to another's blood as well?" if he could control other people's blood, it could make him a very lethal person... A very bad enemy, but a good ally. Even if he couldn't, then at least he could keep an eye on him, maybe keep him from doing something rash with his powers that could end up costing him.

Azrael waited a moment before continuing to walk. He pondered Nogi's question for a moment before proposing an answer. It was true Azrael was sure he could manipulate all blood, yet most of his magic consisted of his. He hadn't considered taking the liquid that he didn't own, he wondered if his family had done something like that. It truly was wrong, people couldn't really stop the magic. Most magic considered manipulating elements, Blood wasn't even an element. Perhaps classified as water? Never the less Azrael couldn't help but find himself shaking his head no. It may have been a lie, but Azrael wasn't entirely sure himself if he could. Draegon hadn't taught him to, and he hadn't seen another blood mage take blood. Even if they could, what if it was only humans? Would an animal's blood work? What about a cross species? Human/Animal hybrid blood. The questions this magic brought up gave Azrael headaches, he tried not to think about them, but he knew Nogi was mulling them over just as he did. Most strangers to new magic asked a lot of questions. Azrael was just happy Nogi wasn't a scientist. That wouldn't end well.
