Somewhere opposing the public garden is the expensive, marble fountain with the faces of the Sonata family - Reinbech, Shinju, Ferdinando, and January - on every little figure! Aside from the leading lady – Oh, no, wait! The top statue carries Lilia's mug, blowing a bugle to the heavens. Now, the fountain often is used as a small kiddy pool for the children and the occasional adult, with the upper fountain working as a wishing well. The water is clean for the most part and replaced regularly, though one should smell before they try to drink. To help stop any wildlife from using this as their bathing spot, the water running through here is from the ocean itself, filtered free of any grime and algae. Still, the birds seem to enjoy it in the early mornings, there even seems to be a bluebird nest at the very top layer.

The fountain should have been a place of beauty. A calm, serene area that people could relax in. People liked to relax. They wanted to enjoy a nice day. June wanted to enjoy a nice day. But, there was just something bugging him. Could it have been the divorce still fresh in his mind? The crazy ex-wife that lived on this very island? The fact that he was a single father of two? Or maybe even that his children were off at the beach and could drown? All these incredible reasons for the man to feel unbearable amounts of stress- and yet, June hadn't thought of any of these circumstances all day. Instead, he stood looking up at the statues of the fountain, near sickened by the arrogant pieces of rock before him. They were not even art. June didn't fancy himself a pretentious artist, but he knew very well the "art" commissioned by the Sonata family, and it was definitely not artistic in any way. Granted, thanks to them he had been making a decent living through his paintings. But, it left June with a whole for artistic expression he needed to fill. One that painting bratty kids or crazed psycho-paths couldn't fill.
The artist turned his head from the abomination that was the fountain and began to set up shop. We laid down a tarp on the grass in front of him and set up an easel pointing away from the statues. He set up his canvas, a newly stretched one that he got ready just for today, and a small stole to sit on while he worked. It had been awhile since he decided to do any kind of portrait. He picked up a couple of cans of spray paint and some paint brushes from his bag. Normally you wouldn't paint a portrait with spray paint, but June was feeling adventurous. Plus he was just painting a random person who would hopefully accept his request. It really was a pain that June couldn't work up any kind of artistic idea to work on. Though, with taking care of two children on a daily basis, could you blame him? This was his first chance in awhile to throw his creative side into over drive, and he wasn't going to waste it. His model for the day would have to be ready to truly inspire him. If not... Well he'd see what would happen. June sat on his stool and looked at his watch, "Now to play the waiting game..."

Izzy had planned to go stake out at the beach and reel in some gorgeous girls, but a little request caught her eye. This June lady was in need of a model? Well, Izzy was perfect for that! Maybe, they could even have a little nude shot and little painterly fun together. Hohoho. Plus, she was in need of a quick buck too. But... the beach. Swimsuits. No! Izzy was going to focus on this gorgeous June. As she jogged her way over to the fountain, her imagination was going crazy. Was this June going to be to have a nice rack? a**? All the curves in the world? Either way, Izzy was going to snag all of them. Unless it turned out to be an old lady or something. Ew. That mental image didn't need to stay in her head.
She shook her head in an attempt to get rid of the icky nastiness. Saggy boobs. Ew. Well, she loved all sorts of chests, but that was going a little too far. Okay! Izzy needed to focus now. No more wrinkles! It was time to find the hot June. She glanced around the fountain, trying to locate this gorgeous babe, but she only caught sight of some old geezer (June) with some artsy farty stuff. Maybe.... Just maybe... He was holding her stuff for her? Yeah! That could be right. “Hey, geezer!” Izzy greeted with a grin and a energetic wave. “Have you seen a really hot babe? Like, I think her name’s supposed to be June and stuff. Sounds super cute right? But yeah, are you her gramps or something? Do you know when she’s going to get back?”

June was actually kind of having fun relaxing by himself. He even had a small passing thought that maybe it would be better if no one showed up. But, that would be lazy. He had to get the creative juices out somehow... Yet... The sun was pretty comfortable. This island wasn't really so bad. The people pretty much sucked, but June had learned to kind of appreciate the small town atmosphere. He wondered if he should have just escaped to the city when he had the chance though. Maybe that would have been easier. His eyes met with a girl who had been blabbing on to him about some hot chick that was supposed to be him. Maybe the city would have been easier... June lifted himself from his stole and moved towards the teen. He didn't say a word, patience being one of his better strong suits now that he was older. He grinned at the girl, "Just sit over here." He pulled Izzy by her shirt sleeve to a chair he set up for the helped position. June then went back to his bag of paints and brought out a green spray-paint can and shook it up. He stood up and wondered 'if it still worked' as he pressed down on the nozzle letting a mist of green fly towards his new assistant. "Ah sorry," June let out in monotone, "Geezers like me don't really pay attention~" Did I say patient? June was a young, good-looking man with everything in the world going for him. No brat was gonna' get away with a comment like that.

Oh, wow. This was awkward. As Izzy was made to sit down by the old man, she raised a brow. "Gramps, you do know this is illegal right? I mean, if you swing for amazing people like me and all, that can be your thing. I know I'm just too awesome to resist, but you're not my type. I'm fine with the cougars, but you're not one. Hm... I think the right term is ***** right?!" She looked over at the dude with a hope that she did indeed answer correctly. Of course, she was right! She... just needed some affirmation on whether or not the man was really called a ***** course, her question completely slipped from her mind when her attention was now focused on a new matter. It was safe to say that being green was a much more important matter. Oh, gawd. She just turned into the Hulk. How awesome was that! "Gramps! Dude! That was epic! I guess going senile and blindness is a good thing for you old folk then!" She exclaimed in her excitement, already attempting to flash off her muscles in showy poses.

Junes teeth started to grind together, an old habit he always tried to fix, but never quite got there. But, how could he? Everyone on this island was so... June took a deep breath and then sighed. It was fine. Besides, the blonde could appreciate a comic book reference. And, this chick being happy would mean he couldn't get in trouble for bullying a kid. He turned back to her and sat back down on his chair. The artist eyed her up for a second, deciding if she would even make good material. She was young, sure, but she was also green. Well that was his fault. But still, she should be less green... Or... More green. June jolted up from his seat and slapped his easel to the ground. He marched up to this strange girl and began to speak, "I'm the one your lookin' for by the way." He crossed his arms and gave a small smirk, "June King, and since you've already made your way here, you'll be workin' with me today." This girl could make a perfect piece for June's latest project idea. "Now," the blonde's hands moved out of position and grabbed a brush from his pocket, then pointed it at the girl, "Your job is to sit there while I paint you." Not your traditional art project... This would be more fun though.

It took a moment for that to register into Izzy's brain. After all, it was pretty difficult for anything to get through that intelligent brain of hers, especially when she was so pumped up about her Hulk transformation. When it finally got through, she dramatically flopped onto the chair, smacked a hand to her face, and sighed with all of her disappointment. "Awwwww! But June's a girl's name! A hot girl's name!" Izzy whined through her hand. This wasn't fair! Izzy was supposed to have her romantic adventure with a babe and end up with some amazing harem, but no, this old coot just had to ruin her dreams. Well, Ol' King here did make his point though. She was already here, and an awesome person like her couldn't give up just because her dreams were crushed! Deep breaths. She could handle this! All she had to do was make small talk to clear away her glorious mistake. "Fine! I'll just pretend that you're like my grandpa. If I had one. I never met the old fart because he keeled over, but I'll pretend that he's just like you. I don't think you should keel over though. Oh! I'm Izzy by the way." She prattled.

June began to wonder if there was something weird in the water here. Where people just poisoned into acting this way? Or was this cosmic retribution for him being unbearable when he was a child. No, couldn't be. Little June was awesome, everyone loved him. June loved him. Though, if he ever met with his younger self, young June would have probably called his twenty-nine year old single father self a geezer too... God, why did kids exist? Why did he have his own?
June's mouth open slightly as to clench down on his teeth once more, but he was over that. "Just sit there and look pretty would ya?" He looked over at Izzy with a pretty neutral expression not knowing whether he should be mad or just apathetic to the situation. While he thought though, he picked up a bucked of paint and a brush and headed in front of the girl to begin his latest work. He popped the lid of a crisp scarlet paint and mixed it thoroughly with a small wood plank. He wasn't sure if other artists dabbled in house paints when working, but, hey, he thought they were cool. Plus they were way cheaper than buying that artsy stuff in bulk. "Actually, just sit their and don't do anything, your a canvas now," June commanded in order to get the young miss to shut her trap. He picked up the brush he brought and dipped it into the paint then raised it to her forehead and began painting over the green he had previously colored her with. Maybe she would be a good canvas and not talk, or move, or live. June would like that. Canvases didn't insult the painter.

xoxoxoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox Leda sighed. She had decided that walking around Nirvani would be better then sitting around home doing nothing. She could mess with all the makeup she had stuffed into her black bag under the sink. But what would be the point of getting all dolled up just to sit at home or to go on a walk. She could have taken Melisa out to dinner afterwards but Melisa's attitude about other people could be a little too much for her sometimes. It also wouldn't be a good idea since she got the feeling Melisa actually liked her. Or maybe she was just being full of herself... No, they were just friends of course. Melisa just like Leda more then she liked most people. Or that's how it would stay unless Hogarth some how became a human. Which wasn't possible but she was still pretty sure the toy dinosaur would take her place as Melisa's best friend then. She sighed again before letting out a little huff. She was so distracted that she had almost slipped on something. Looking down the girl tried to see what the cause of her almost fall was. A tarp with art supplies? Hmm? Who would just leave that lying around. Looking up she noticed two others close by. It must have belonged to the man who was painting the young girl. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to knock into your things. I wasn't paying attention.." She stopped talking for a minute. Wait he was actually painting her. Putting paint on her skin. Biting her lip she tried not to ask what they were doing. But she really couldn't help it, "Are you painting that girl?"

Oooh. Izzy could definitely work "pretty." Well, she was the epitome of awesomeness here, so there was never any doubt that she could be "pretty." She immediately went for a fish face by sucking in her cheeks and pouting her lips. Not to mention, she even went cross-eyed to add to her lovely charm. Unfortunately, it seemed to be too much for the old man to handle since he didn't want her to do anything at all. "Fiiiiiiine." She reluctantly whined as she settled into a-- Oooooh. It was definitely a leer now. After all, a babe came into the picture here. Well, it was more like she had tripped, but still, this is what Izzy came for. She gave a low whistle and grinned. "Oh, it's no problem at all. You're always welcome to knock into my things anytime."

xoxoxoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox Leda giggled at the girl. She had to be at least ten years older then her. But it was cute that she was trying to whistle at her. Carefully walking around the art supplies. Just because she didn't want to ruin anything the man had set up for his work. She stood to the right of Izzy and the man. Taking a closer look. "Are you sure your friend doesn't mind?" She asked softly. "I wouldn't want to ruin his work."This was the reason that she still stayed a bit away from the two. But from here though she could see that he was indeed putting paint on her forehead. It was a nice scarlet tone that she could see came from a bucket of paint. She usually only saw house paint when people where painting walls. Not something that they would use for working on their art. Maybe she should offer the two hair pins? Just in case he needed to get the girl's hair out of her face. Leda always carried her own with her. Mainly because she preferred to pin everyone's hair back and taking a good look at their face before she put makeup on it.

~NEW DAY~ Gus hadn't done much at all since he arrived to the island, spending most of his time 'working' at the store, hanging around with Juno, and taking walks around town to get a general feel of the place. But, those peaceful days were over – yes, Gus was going to do something no man had ever done. He was going to climb the hell out of that fountain and video tape it. Maybe he could even play with the footage a bit and play it in the store later for the entertainment of their patrons! He could just envision the awestruck customers as they look to Gus in the isle of Platypus Pond and think wow, there's that daredevil, putting instant cake mix on the shelf like he's just another guy. But he wasn't – he was a guy who climbed fountains and not slip and crack his head. ..Though, those ledges were pretty slippery and he was sure the probability of him needing to be run to the clinic for stitches afterward were preeetttyy high.
It made his blood pump just thinking about it! He grinned as he fit the camcorder to a tripod, angling it at the fountain as he prepped for his first dangerous stunt of the day~

What exactly had brought Mitsukai to the fountains, not even she knew. It generally wasn't the most thrilling spot in town, and yet somehow on her quest to get out of the house and find some excitement she ended up there. Well, at least it was pretty, right? To be honest the little statue people of the Sonatas kind of creeped her out. Who thought that was a good idea? Well creepy statues aside, she'd at least give the place a chance before wondering off to another spot in town. She scanned the area, and a green haired man quickly got her attention. The color of his hair was enough to provide reason to approach him, but in addition to that he was a adjusting a camera. Were there weird things going on around the fountain? Was he going to try to catch it on video? So cool! "Hey!" she called out and quickly headed in his direction. "What are you filming?" someone with hair that cool had to be filming something awesome!

Gus had just been gauging from what angle he should approach the fountain before he started to scale it. It should probably be the coolest angle, but he guessed maybe he should take into account the ice built up – which wasn't much. Flowing water, Spring basically a day away, and staff to maintain the fountain's upkeep and probably keep it salted or whatever – it all added up to a significantly untouched fountain despite the patches of snow around the area. Still, that probably would just add to the slipperiness of it and oh he was getting so excited for this! He cracked his neck and decided to just go at it hazardously as he usually did anyway, but, just as he was preparing to launch himself forward, a voice broke his concentration.
“What?” Oh. Pretty girl. He raised his brows at her as he glanced her over before breaking out into a big, toothy grin. “The raddest stunt you've ever seen! This guy,” He popped his collar and leaned back, pointing off to the fountain behind him, “is about to show that fountain who's boss. Yeah, it's going to be pretty cool. You wanna watch?” He snapped his eyes back to her eagerly, his gaze having trailed off toward the fountain as he spoke his challenge to it. She was going to watch, right? He loved having an audience!
