After roughly an hour and a half's worth of target practice in the forest not too far from where she was walking, Anna decided to wander around a bit. Why not? She didn't feel like going back to the dorm. Being in close quarters to others made her slightly uncomfortable. Especially with that one male... What was his name? Ken? Jen? Ten? ... Ren? Well, it was not like it mattered to her anyway--she never bothered to remember or even acknowledge debaucherous people and that one male in particular happened to display such behaviors. So, wandering it was. Anything to stay away from the smell of tobacco that lingered in the dorm room because of his smoking habits.

I wish it was always this nice outside... She thought to herself as she hiked up the grassy hill. The grass got higher as Anna marched through it. She never liked tall grass very much, it always made her legs itc-- "What?" She interrupted her own thought process as she felt something hit her foot. Or, rather, the other way around. Anna looked down at her feet, seeing a young blonde girl, laying on her back. Her own foot had pressed up against the girl's side. Thankfully, she didn't step on her. The young lady looked like she was a fragile one--although Anna knew better than to judge based on first impressions such as that. "Oh! My apologies, I didn't see you there. I'm afraid I wasn't paying attention to my own feet. I didn't hurt you, did I?" She apologized, looking down at the girl with a faint smile.

Anna gave a quiet sigh of relief when the girl said she was alright. Not that she would have cared for her safety, she just didn't want to be seen as rude. She watched as the younger one stood, observing her movements with slight curiosity. Anna wanted to guess her age and seeing as she didn't look to be any older than 14, she wanted to say that she was at most 13. Perhaps 12. Somewhere within that range. Her thought process stopped in its tracks when she posed a question.

Anna gave it some thought. Why wasn't she out and about at a mall or something? Well... There was always just the fact that she had to practice her archery stunts. But it was also a little more than that. "I was practicing my archery in the forest not too far from here--I prefer a woodland setting than simple circle-boards standing on sticks." Anna replied, deciding that just saying she had practice would suffice. She didn't want to gossip about other students to a young-one. Then she wouldn't be setting a very good example, would she? "And, might I ask, what is your name?"

Anna tilted her head to the side with curiosity. "Oh? I am sorry, I suppose I misunderstood your inquiry. What did you mean, then?" She asked, slightly embarrassed at her misunderstanding the question. She was a bit out of sorts today, what with all of the new dorm mates and people around. ... Especially that one boy--darn his smoking--whom she made a point to avoid. Him and his stupid little mutant of a pet. Such a strange thing it was. Then again, she shouldn't be one to judge. This place was called Carnival of the Strange for a reason and it was true to its title. Anna shook the hand that was offered to her and smiled upon hearing the girl's name. "Good to meet you, Mackenzie. I am Anna. Again, my apologies for nearly stepping on you. It's tough to see through the tall grass." She said before letting go of the girl's hand.

Anna was only slightly ticked off when Mackenzie rolled her eyes but she would let it slide. She understood why there would be some frustration with her confusion. Anna nodded in understanding. So they kicked her out? Well, that was lame and rather strange. If they needed help so desperately, why couldn't they have accepted Mackenzie's? The whole thing seemed odd to her but perhaps that was because she was a) only hearing one side of the story and b) from a village that took whatever help they knew they could get their hands on, even if it meant putting the little ones who knew how to fight in danger.

When Mackenzie asked why Anna was here and not there. "As I said before, I do not like practicing with the bullseye targets they have in the archery field. So I came out to the forest since it is a more natural setting. I was just passing through here." She explained and was quiet for a moment before she continued speaking. "I am not very fond of balls and dinner parties, I'll admit. I did not hear that it erupted into such violence until I approached the Manor to see what the ruckus was only to find that its entrance had been blocked off..." She shrugged. "So that is when I came to the forest and practiced, thus winding up here on my way back from practice."
