I don't think it's incorrect, I just think, like most things, it's an oversimplified way of thinking about things.
For the record, I am in full support of those who identify as queer, and I myself identify as queer. And on that note, I really don't think that the reason Christians should love and accept us is because we're "God's solution to overpopulation" - Christians should love us because we're people and many of us are ourselves Christian.
On a larger scale, yeah. While I don't presume to ever know exactly what God intended, it seems a reasonable assumption that in general, greater diversity leads to greater success - on an individual scale, it's great to be a doctor, but in the scale of the world, a society with only doctors and no plumbers would be a very messy society indeed. It stands to reason that this diversity includes the brilliant, wonderful diversity of culture, ethnic heritage, sexual orientation, gender identity, and a whole host of other characteristics that make up the human population. And it stands to reason that, by and large, a greater diversity and a greater acceptance of that diversity would yield a stronger and more vibrant world. And since that seems to be what God was trying to get at, it does stand to reason that lifting up people and their individuality is certainly a worthy goal.
But, in the scheme of pithy sentences, this one falls into the same trap as the rest - it's pretty on paper, but doesn't fully capture the reality. At least, that's my opinion.

I do not mind it as long as homosexuals realize their sins and turn from it, whatever sins they have. Same thing for a heterosexual.

I'm on the fence about the gay marriage thing but there is nothing in the Bible that says that they cant adopt a child. Besides all children need a home and being in the system is a scary thing that no child deserves.

I agree with the basic sentiment, i.e. let homosexual couples adopt, but the overall message is bizarre. Why would god need a solution to something? Why not just prevent unwanted children? If they're unwanted, surely they're unwanted for a reason?
Unless god's solution to gay couples not being able to adopt is to provide unwanted children, which makes a lot more sense to me logically.

I agree that's kind of an over-simplified statement, but I think the sentiment is spot-on.
Babies is a side effect of having straight sex, and sometimes babies happen even when it's hugely inconvenient for the birth parents. This is not God's problem, it's a human problem. When God creates homosexual people who are called to become parents, the disadvantaged children they adopt are given another chance at having a loving family and a bright future. I look at that and see a really beautiful gift.
