[The Post Cast]

Greetings fellow WHY members! We would like to informally introduce you to the brand spanking new Post Cast! This is a 'newspaper' of sorts that will give updates about what's going on around the guild, gaia, and more. This is an unbiased and certainly unofficial post that is really just for kicks, but can be very informative. We'll have special articles featuring a member of the month, an RPC of the month, perhaps an interview or two, and much more. There will be polls and questions for the readers to participate in as well. Check in here every week for the latest happenings! Mind you, this is all OC. It is meant to keep people updated with the story so nobody falls behind and has to muck through countless posts to see what is going on.
[Grand Opening]
We here at WHY would like to personally welcome you into our guild. Yes, it is yet another Naruto Guild, but it runs differently. We have a slew of systems dedicated to making the roleplay run smoothly and interestingly. All we need is the member power, and that's where you come in. Come, create a character. Check out our bloodlines, clans, demons, summonings, or whatever it is that floats your boat. Make customs, roleplay, climb the rank ladders, invite your friends, but most importantly: Have fun doing it.
[Around the Villages]
Yukigakure
The Yukikage has little attention divided to the other villages. The storms rage on, and he can be seen constantly watching over his village, steeling out newer, fresher, stronger shinobi every day. As per the norm, he is in a seeming state of indifference towards the other kage, but nonetheless he has a plan set to start soon.
Tsukigakure
The Village within the Moon has welcomed back their Tsukikage from a summit meeting of the World Leaders. She was welcomed warmly and the people are happy to have her home. So far her Jounin, the White Wolf of Tsuki, Aeden Nagamo has been seen about the village as well. It seems that the Lady Jade is planning trips to the other villages to further establish political standpoints!
Soragakure
The Training Begins! Kaisen, the Sorakage, is giving his Genin an early head-start in training methods and procedures to get a militaristic head-start over the other villages. Other than that, his personal motives remain unknown at this point, whether they be that of peace or conquest.
[Interviews]
Jade 'The Goddess of Flash' Shihōin
When I traveled to Tsukigakure, I was first alarmed to see that nothing was there. However, the village rose to welcome me like an atlantean city, and I was greeted inside with warm embraces. When I reached Lady Jade's office, the lights were dimmed to a mysterious dimmer, and only ten rose-scented candles gave light to the room. For a short time, I couldn't help but feel as though she were coming onto me, but once the interview started, I knew that wasn't the case.
Q: Jade, why is it necessary to wear such revealing clothing?
A: Everybody knows I like to move fast. Clothing only serves to drag me down. I am not ashamed of my body anyway, I work hard to keep it like this.
Q: If you weren't a shinobi, what would you be doing?
A: There is a question I have never asked myself. Though without a doubt I would certainly be a brewer of alcoholic beverages.
Q: What's your favorite weapon?
A: My favorite weapon is my body. I can be very effective in battle with it alone. There is even a cannon of chakra I can shoot out of my- *interrupted by Aeden* What do you mean I can't say that in an interview?
Q: Besides the battle we heard about from Kaisen, what's some other juicy details about yourself that you don't mind sharing?
A: If I took the time to tell you everything you would have enough material for a series of books. There are many things I do not care to remember, but I can tell you I have been the Kage of three different villages so far. I have filled many roles in this world, some for better and some for worse.
Q: One of the more peculiar questions with our fanbase was...how quickly can you run a mile?
A: How quick can I run a mile? *Two flashes of light* Does that answer your question?
Kaiser "The Frozen Tree" Shiro-Kame
I recently took a trip to the Village hidden in the Snow, better known as Yukigakure. The trip there was grueling, I'm sure I can still feel the frost lingering on my eyelashes. I nearly shouted with joy when the Yukikage opened his doors for me, warm tea on hand. He was quite amiable as we joked and made our introductions by a fireplace in his office. Without wanting to waste more time, I began going through my list of questions.
Q: Where did you get the name from?
A: My parents, bless their souls, named me of course. I'm not sure where they got the name itself from, they just told me I was named after a man of great power. Go figure.
Q: There are whispers of your history, dark ones. Do you have any comments about them?
A: I don't like that question. Anyone who knows even a fraction of the truth behind my past would be careful not to whisper at all.
At this point I felt an odd cold settle into the room. Even though the fire was warm and blazing it felt as if a morning frost settled onto everything. My tea had even gone cold. I shivered, though I'm sure it was not from the temperature. Wanting to move on from that question I hastily asked the next.
Q: How did you make it to Yukikage?
A: Eh, that's another iffy question. There was a lot of infighting between a lot of groups who wanted to vie for power within the divided nations. There were three warring kingdoms, and I was apart of none of them. Suffice it to say that their peace treaty went horribly awry when things came out of the dark about each of them, and there was only a single frozen tree in it's wake. Again, go figure.
Q: What are your intentions for Yuki?
A: What are anyone's intention for their village? Prosperity, strength and a set future.
Q: What do you think of the other Kages?
A: I don't have an honest opinion of them. Yuki is on the fringe of society, and we don't often go out to mingle, but in my opinion a marriage is just as easily broken as a diamond. Find a good spot, or use hard enough material, and anything would crash and burn. I'm sure they are fine people however. Yes indeed.
It was clear to me that the Yukikage had come to a close for this interview. There were still more questions to be asked, but perhaps those were for a less dangerous time. He suddenly seemed reserve, as if he was hiding behind a sheet of ice. Not wanting to find out just how frozen trees could get I thanked him, bid my adieus, and made like a banana and split.
Kaisen "Quickdraw" Uchiha
Taking the ride up in the cage to the wondrous floating village was definitely a sight to see. The technology was absolutely amazing, wondrous machines moving past and something that can lift thousands and thousands of pounds without the slightest creak or groan. Being above the clouds was at first incredibly terrifying. Getting near the edge made me feel the full effects of vertigo, and had it not been for a young ninja zipping by on the skylines I would have been a little crater in the ground. They escorted me to the Sorakage's office where I met the mysterious man and began the interview.
Q: Could you give us a bit of insight into your history with the Tsukikage Jade Uchiha?
A: Jade and I have quite the history, as you can tell. Really, we started off as childhood rivals; we essentially grew up together. This would lead into that well-known fight, but I'll get into that later.
Q: Tell me a bit about you're eyes, comrade.
A: My eyes are...special. I think that's all I am gonna say at this point in time.
Q: Where on Earth did the name "Quickdraw' come from?
A: The nickname came from a special kind of sealing that I use. And we're going to end that there as well.
Q: What is it like living in the sky?
A: Living in the sky is peaceful, and I prefer the detachment from the rest of the world's affairs.
Q: I remember you're famous fight with the lady Jade Uchiha. In snow country we call it the battle of the sun and moon, though along with it come a slew of things you wouldn't understand. Can we get any juicy details about the fight? What was it like to face her head on?
A: The fight with Jade was honestly nothing special. We fought, destroyed some landscape and altered maps, but that happens all the time. Not much more needs to be said on that subject.
Q: Any thoughts on your cousin's somewhat sketchy relationship with the White Wolf?
A: Jade is a flirtatious woman. Her relationship might be questionable, but who she allows to shove what in her where is her decision.
[Upcoming Events]
• Inter-Village Training Contests
Each Village will have the option to participate in inter-village contests. These will be objective based games, possibly a capture the flag game or some sort of scavenger hunt. The ninja of each village will enter with a squad and must compete as a team against the squads of other villages. The winners will win Ryo for themselves and their village, as well as fame and pride!
• First Arc: We Refuse!
The First Arc for W.H.Y. will be arriving shortly! We here tell of anarchists spreading chaos throughout the lands. Riots have broken out and bands of thuggish travelers have been spotted outside of the new major villages. The people grow nervous and restless, what will happen?
• The Chuunin Exams will be open after a month or so, once all new Genin have had a chance to learn what they want to and get a chance to get some missions. We know that most guilds have the standard tourney ladder matches or some variant of that. The crew does not want to do something dull like that. We've got some special events planned for the exams, so prepare yourselves!
[Monthly Poll]
If a war was to break out between the three legendary Kages, which do you think would survive the free for all?
