Occupation: Whatever random odd job he can land. He keeps getting fired for being lazy though.
Physical Appearance: He has dark brown hair bordering black that looks like more of a messy mop on top of his head than anything else. His bangs falls below bright baby blue eyes. His face is covered with stubble and he has quite a muscular physique. If it wasn't for the fact he looked like such a slob, the guy could probably be good looking. Sometimes he's accused of wearing the same clothes for over a week without washing them. It's actually pretty gross.
Personality: Jonah is a pretty passive guy. He has a difficult time showing his emotions; his facial expression is permanently stuck to a blank and his tone of voice is forever dull and even. He's grossly dedicated to his brother, who although MIA, Jonah does not seem to show any signs of worry. The only time he seems to show any signs of enthusiasm is when listening to his brother, otherwise he's ridiculously lazy about just about everything. Which is the main reason why he can't keep a job. Ever.
Jonah likes to crack random jokes from time to time because his brother mentioned once that he's way too serious. However, because he is rather cynical, his 'jokes' are actually pretty dry and morbid rather than funny. Actually, most of these 'jokes' is just him being sarcastic, or well, trying to be sarcastic. Because his facial expression and tone of voice never changes, it's hard to tell when he's actually being serious.
Unless directed by his brother, this guy really means no harm. Even though he's entirely capable, he rarely bothers resorting to violence even if it means not protecting himself from harm. He's not totally a bad guy as he'll rescue people he sees that are in trouble. But still he's actually pretty cynical.
Flaws: Firstly, this guy is ridiculous lazy about just about everything aside from listening to his brother. He's a slob, his apartment is basically a gross garbage dump. It's a mystery how he even lives there. This combined with his lack of facial expression makes it hard for him to make friends. Along with his big statue, he might seem kind of scary to approach even when he means no harm. His laziness is also the reason why he can't even keep a menial job.
Also, Jonah is easily misunderstood because of his lack of emotional expression and his shitty jokes. He doesn't even make much of an effort to approach people, even though sometimes he feels kind of lonely.
Lastly, he's delusional. About what you ask? Well, we'll just have to wait and see~
Back Story: Growing up in a good engineer family alongside a his genius twin brother, Jonah didn't necessarily have an easy time as he had basically about 0 competence with engineering. He appeared to care little about anything or anyone and it made him pretty hard to get along with even as a child. Coupled with his difficult personality, Jonah was almost disbanded by his family at one point. But his genius brother stood up for him. Their close relationship is probably the only reason Jonah ever managed to officially receive an Engineering license in the first place. But the license mattered little to him. His brother, Daved is his one and only best friend and also his image of hope and admiration. He followed every word of his brother.
Strangely, seven years ago, Daved went MIA but Jonah seems to show no distress towards the situation. Despite his closeness with his twin, he cut loose most family ties after moving out. Now he seems to be just leisurely enjoying life...just barely making the monthly bills with all the menial jobs he's worked at and gotten fired from.
His dream job is to become a wealthy beggar... Whatever that even means.
Talents and Skills: His lack of facial expression could possibly be considered a skill. It's really hard to tell if he's lying because of that. He's also learned in martial arts and can put up a damned good fight if he tries. IF he tries. Also, he seems to have a strange gift for finding lost items.
Research: N/A Despite having an Engineer's license, this guy as 0 competence as an engineer.
Hobbies: Feeding the pigeons, taking a smoke, sleeping, wasting time
Likes: Telling 'jokes', free food, rain(because it washes away some of his grim without him actually having to take a bath)
Dislikes: Difficult women, working, being forced to smile, the police, pointless squabbling between engineers and alchemists
