Name: Lucille Hendrix. Most common nickname is Lucy only if they're generally close friends or acquaintances and rarely is ever called Lace.
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Height: 5'5''
Weight: 140
Sexuality: Bi-curious, but all in all she never really has loved before, but merely had crushes on boys as a child.
Faction: Engineer
Occupation: Engineer Trinket Shop Owner
Physical Appearance: Red, short, naturally messy hair that ends at the nape of her neck as she has somewhat of a bang that hands over her brown eyes. A pair of goggles always sits comfortably at the top of her head. Normally wears a blue striped dress shirt with some sort of vest that goes over. As she's a tomboy she usually completes her outfit of trousers that match some times the olive color of her vest or in some instances a shade of brown with boots that she finds lying around.
She cares somewhat about her appearance as she doesn't let herself fall behind and look like a "slob." Although, she does at times go a day or two without changing clothing if she's up all night trying to meet the deadline in the next 6-12 hours. Some instances she'll surprise those who take notice with a skirt or leggings or something more classy/dressy for a change. Other than eye liner she wears no makeup whatsoever.
Personality: Lucille has perfected her front of being a master of crude British humor. She smiles at any customer that comes her way; cutting off the more rude jokes for she does that for the sake of survival of her shop. She argues with the council about petty things about the deadlines that hadn't been warned very much in advance. Even if they were, she still enjoys to put up a fight to try to fix her rather obvious procrastination. Despite all of her humor and at times dominance, she's hurting inside. Hurting of her lack of communication and most of all the stress of day-to-day living.
In the on and off state of depression she's in, every day is different. She usually treats others with that rude, but loving sense of love that a big sister would give to the younger. She doesn't talk about her personal life as she doesn't enjoy bringing tension to herself, thus she easily lies as she has adapted to her habit of compulsive lying saying how she grew from royalty and so on and so forth. She also has a tendency to become difficult at times.
Flaws: First of all, there is such a thing as faction pride, and well, Lucille has a LOT of it. She's an Engineer elitist and proud, but where that tends to offend most causing them to take more and more business as she's going to lose it soon if she doesn't keep up her act. On top of her elitist flaw, she has also a rather bad deal with procrastination. She often procrastinates trying to keep up with the Engineer's guild's deadlines and rushes it the night before leaving her functioning without an ounce of sleep. Such leaves her sleeping for days on end and it soon detaches her from society.
People, ideas, friends, the shop.. everything starts to drift away as she her sleep schedule shuts her away as she slips slowly into a state of depression. The deadline for a creation is at the beginning of each month and days leading to such she's stressed out of her mind where tends her to show rudeness to customers. The income just keeps getting smaller and smaller by the month.. Sad, isn't it? During her sleeping periods, she receives many threats from the guild in letters piled at her doorstep. To keep the council off of her back, she has unfortunately picked up the habit of lying. Compulsive lying, but only at her benefit, of course.
Back Story: Lucille was an orphan and grew up in an orphanage from childhood and then into adulthood. Playing with the boys most of her days foretold that she would soon be molded into a tomboy and she would indeed have that life-style until the day she died. Their influence didn't fully affect her fine aspects, but her style of dressing at least was. The orphanage willingly kept her well into adult-hood until the chance that she had waited for her whole life the day she discovered Engineering. It would be common that she'd help the rest of the men that were still in the orphanage that she had grown up with help tinker and fix that needed fixing.
She was roughly good at it learning from the boys as she didn't receive enough education to get a logical engineering job. On her 20th year, she attended a college for Engineering, in which it was paid for through the orphanage somehow and plus a bit of everyone's pay as they were willing to help out. She had only been in the college one year before she was kidnapped in a sense. When she finally awoke she was in a field surrounded by men, telling her that you had passed the test. What test? ..It felt like she had been asleep for days on end. She didn't question it until years later where she finally found the crude answers one by one passively.
Talents and Skills: A well hidden ability. In other words, it's a secret.
Research: Lucille is proud of her countless prototypes that she has rushed to present for the Guild. She has yet to perfect most of them, but she takes much pride in a steam-powered model bird named XYC-0825. She has been leaning towards perfecting it for a long time now as she cherishes it more than any creation she has made or come across. Along with his steam producing mechanism, she has tried to make a personality chip, but it soon melts under the high temperatures of the steam mechanism overheating.
Hobbies: Spending time with her artificial bird model. As lonely as it seems, she wishes to give him artificial life too.
Likes: Sour foods, relaxing, compliments on her inventions or personality, different types of music (Trance, classical..)
Dislikes: Being pestered with questions after giving her definite answer, having to pay Jonah for him doing close to nothing, being criticized for her way of going about things (ex: her dressing style, humor), the obliviousness of newcomers that happen to appear in the city, and most importantly, sleeping.
