These words echoed throughout the area around them.
"Why do you insignificant being's feel the right to take my belongings?"
With that the area seemed to grow cold, the chakra from the seal as well as the Genin seeming to literally get sucked out, the beast then letting out an ear splitting roar.

Takeo skidded to a stop in front of Naomi, nodding about the seal. She looked exhausted and he was pretty fresh from his rest. He lightly graced his eyes over the man from earlier, stabbed through several times with glowing spears. Something wasn't right with this picture.
Before Takeo could step onto the seal, a voice boomed out and Takeo shivered as the area seemed to chill around them. Takeo turned around, preparing himself to protect the girls. "Your belongings?", Takeo replied loudly. "This man was the creator of the forest, not you. Though it sounds like you two know each other since you both seem to like talking from the shadows!" Takeo second thought his action of calling this being out. It hadn't worked well in the past, after all.

How many more things could go wrong before this seal could even finish? She just wanted this whole thing to be done and over with. "Takeo! There is a whole lot about this situation you don't know. The man told us about it. Be careful about what you say." She looked to Mitsuko. "You think this is the guy the man was talking about earlier? The one who gave out all the beasts who destroyed the villages?" She asked with a strained look on her face. The seal was getting harder for her to hold. Beads of sweat were trickling down her forehead. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mitsuko nodded in response to Naomi, trying to ignore the screech from the beast, "More than likely, yeah it's probably him. He keeps going on about 'his belongings' and such." She opened one eye to gaze around the scene. It tugged on her heart to see everyone in such a bad situation. "If you need to take a break, do so now. I'll see how long I can last cycling chakra with this thing." She closed her eye again, more in fear that any of them could be shot down like the man before them at any moment.

Takeo was confused, and he didn't understand what was going on. He did see that Naomi looked ready to fall over from exhaustion. He stepped over next to her and began to focus his chakra, feeling the drain from the seal immediately. "Whew! Naomi, take a break. You look like your spent. I've got this for now."
He focused his chakra and slowly allowed it to flow into the seal. He looked over at Naomi, intent on getting some answers."Short version, but what's going on and why does Mitsuko look like that?" He was worried and it showed in his tone. Mitsuko looked worse off than Naomi and the way she was barely able to open her eyes had him concerned.

As that was said a shadowy figure appeared directly in between the Genin. It almost didn't look like it was really there, you couldn't see through it but it appeared to be made of condensed shadows; one would think it was a Nara clan technique if they had ever seen them before.
"But I was talking about my little... pet"
With that the beast let out a roar; only to be quickly cut off as the figure lifted his arm up to the beast; the creature suddenly stopping its roar as though something had started to strangle it halfway through.
"Now then, I won't be getting cut off again...."

As the figure said that it turned to the two girls who had been attempting the Jutsu with the now impaled man; its shadowy head seemingly locked onto the two.
"Everything in this world is my plaything; lets see.... if you two can be of any entertainment"

With a exasperated grunt, Mitsuko focused on the beast that had been draining her chakra for too long now. Alright big guy, time you gave back what you've been taking. She thought to herself. If she can find a way to focus on the...thing's chakra and try pulling it back into her, she could easily get herself back up and fight. The only problem was figuring out how she was gonna do that.
"Takeo, protect Naomi and yourself...if you need to move and get away do so without haste." Speaking at this point was taking too much effort as is, so she decided to end it at that and just lay there. Constantly focusing on the chakra flow...Takeo to her, from her to the creature, and the creature to her? She couldn't grasp all this seal nonsense right now anyway.
