May I make a suggestion?
Perhaps for these "other rps," we could do "flashbacks" like a serious point in time with two or more of the chars? For example, say my char "Kitten" knew your char "Jinx" back when they were twelve. There can be a thread dedicated to that time that they knew each and it can be moved on as a separate role-play.
It could possibly give more char depth than the rest of the role-play?
