Welcome to Ileavyan, a small rustic Kingdom of elves. Shaynea'lann is of course, the commanding Prince, and will soon be King when he marries and decides to take up the title. There are many paths leading off from the main castle to smaller village settlements, as well as natural pieces of beauty. The Fields of Elsyium lay in a coveted part of the valley and are considered to be sacred, while there are more places such as Dhall's Stair that are more for sight seeing and romance. The Color Caves are also beneath the main castle and in the valley, contributing another beautiful place in the kingdom.
Addressing the castle itself, one of the first things to come across is the Grand Foyer. The palace is a mix of traditional and modern architecture with a homey charm. Upon furher walking and exploring, one may come across a small Living room. There is also a Music room at easy access for traveler's and guests. There are more Stairsways leading to sitting rooms or more levels in the palace. The Kitchen is also found with easy acess, although it is towards the back so that the servants may not be seen if it chosen to be as such. And being a palace, ther eare several rooms including the kitchen that hold Hideaways so that servants and royals may escape quickly if the palace ever came under siege.
In the more personal parts of the palace can the chambers be found. There are several guest rooms, but they all are rather identical and boring, even though they are well maintained. Shay's Chamber as well as his Bathroom are often neat and tidy, given his like for travel and sepdning time elsewhere. The Princess' Chamber and Bath are quite close to Shay's own chambers which is something that makes him quite pleased, even though he would not intrude on a lady's privacy.
The room on the highest level of the palace is an enclosed sun room that has a live tree growing into it's ceiling. The largest room in the entiritey of the palace is the Cathedral which is large enough to hold all the citizens of Ileavyan as well as several foreign dinitaries that may be visiting, even if the proximity may not be very comfortable. There are also several water tributes to the palace, such as the balcony spa and the undrground lounge which is quite closer to the ground then the rest of the castle. There are also many servant passages so that servants may get around from place to place quickly. Overall, it's a very airy kingdom with tons of happy people and beautiful landscaping.

Ellie was beginning to become quite fond of the man standing in front of her. He was so incredible kind and gentle... Someone who wished nothing more than to free her of this room and possibly call her his friend. Friend... The rabbit demon honestly loved the sound of that. Back at the palace, she didn't get to socialize very much with others, and when she did get to talk to people, Ellie knew that it was all for show. They were just being kind to her because of who she was, and more importantly, because of who her father was. It was never very wise to anger any king, and the people at the palace made sure they stayed on her father's good side. The young woman wasn't trying to make her father out to be tyrannical or incredibly cruel, because the man was gentle and very kind and fair to his people. Royal or not. However, with the threat of war and Ellie was sure that her disappearance had upset him even more. It made her incredibly worried and even more determined to speak with the man. She had to tell him that she was alive and well. That she was happy with where she was at.
Of course she had no idea where she would be going, or what was going to happen to her in the near future, but Ellie was one-hundred percent sure that she would be happy with Shay. Looking up at him with a friendly smile, the rabbit demoness had made a promise to help him out in whatever way was possible. Though she had no experience in a kitchen or how to clean anything properly, Ellie was willing to learn if it meant helping Shay out. A small pout formed when the handsome man told her that there was no need for her to do such tasks, that he only wanted her as a companion."Well... you must promise me that if there is anything that I can do to help you, then you will ask me first. I wish to help you as much as I can... I don't want to be a burden to you..."Giving him a warm smile, she squeezed his hand gently once more. Ellie hoped that he understood that she only wished to help him, after all... he was doing her such a big favor. He was taking her away and even letting her speak to her father! When he pressed a gentle kiss to her knuckles, her tail started to twitch and her cheeks to warm. Did everyone get so excited from such a small, gentle action, or was it just herself?
When Shay mentioned getting her belongings, Ellie's smile brightened and her tail began to twitch excitedly."I won't be long!"Giving him another grin, Ellie ran over to the small closest, her tail still twitching, and grabbed a small stuffed cream rabbit and a small star ruby necklace. It was amazing she had managed to hide the expensive piece of jewelry, but the princess was determined to keep it. It was the last present that her father had gave her, and it just meant all the more now that she would no longer see him. When she was finished, she walked back over to the man and smiled warmly at him, holding the stuffed animal close to her chest while the necklace was tied around her wrist."I am ready to go. May we go home now?"A new home... thought the idea of it was a tad frightening, the young woman couldn't help but be excited by the idea of a new place. As long as that place had Shay in it then she would be happy. Ellie was going to make sure that she would make the man happy. It would be her new life goal! As they walked out of the room and down the hall, Ellie made sure to stay close to Shay, even holding onto his arm as she moved closer to his side.
She knew that no one would bother her, but the rabbit demon didn't want to take any chances. The rabbit was ready to leave this place and end this chapter of her life. Ellie was ready to move on. After all the papers where signed and they were outside, Ellie moved to the grassy area and wiggled her toes. Closing her eyes and inhaling a deep breath, the woman exhaled slowly and looked back at Shay when he told her that she was free. Running over, the princess wrapped her arms around his waist. Looking up at him with a bright blush, her ears fell back and down."Even though you say I am free, is it still okay to bind myself to you? I don't want to be separated from you Mr. O'Hara. I wish to make you happy and be a good friend to you."Stepping away from him and looking down at her feet, Ellie blushed brightly. She hoped that Shay didn't like her too forward but she wanted to stay with him. She would be safe and happy with this man. She was sure of it.
This Princess was quite interesting and unlike any he had ever met. She wasn’t haughty with thh air that princesses usually had. She was her own person, and she thought only of others. It seemed as though others came before even thoughts of herself, which made Shay even more happy. She didn’t realize what an asset she would be. What an asset she already was. He smiled gently, hearing her tell him that he must promise to let her know if she could do anything for him. She didn’t realize what she was doing for him by agreeing to come home with him. Shay did feel slightly bad about not being straight forward with what he wanted from her, but he couldn’t tell her. Not yet. He didn’t want to ruin it, She didn’t need to know he was royalty. No one did. Of course, all his people did, so it would be harder to hide once he took Ellie back to his kingdom, but he had instructed many to keep it low key, as he did not want the position and strategy he was building to be compromised. Instead, he waited for her to gather her belongings; a stuffed rabbit and a necklace. Both must have been of great importance to her, as they were the only things she took with her. When she came to him, he smiled, taking her hand and leading her out of the room and eventually, into the ait outside of the estate. It was not that he resented the estate, but there was a heaviness in the air that hung about and made it slightly unpleasant to be in the place for very long. Now that he was out, and with his companion, they would be able to experience so many more things. He would be able to share much more with her.
When he was suddenly hugged around the middle, Shay was shocked. The emotion crossed over his face as he looked down at Ellie, his lips parted in momentary confusion before a smile came across his face. He was even more surprised when she asked to bind herself to him. His deception was weighing more heavily upon him now. He hadn’t even gotten her home and she wanted to bind herself to him. However would he manage such a request? He smiled and stroked her head tenderly, lifting her chin and placed a tender kiss to her cheek. ”Darling Princess, I would love nothing more, but I will caution you to wait. I cannot so freely bind myself to you yet. And you should not bind yourself to me. Not when you do not know everything. You may not like your new home…I would be saddened, but I do not wish for you to take one a bond that cannot be so easily broken. So I ask that you wait just a little before making such bonds set in stone.” He smiled gently and kissed her hand before looking at her bare toes in the grass and gave a small chuckle. He knelt down in front of her, fishing in his bag until he felt what he was looking for. With a smile and a flourish of his hands, he drew out two small silk slippers that he hoped would fit his princess’s feet. They looked to be big enough. ”Princess? If you would do me the honor? The path to my home may be filled with things that could be painful to your graceful feet. I wish not to have them harmed.” He smiled tenderly, waiting for her acceptance before slipping her feet into the slippers and drawing her closer to him, starting the trip to their point of convergence.
Once they had cleared the boundary of the estate, he drew Ellie into the surrounding woods, drawing her farther into the greenery until they came to a place where two tree’s branches overlapped, looking as if they formed an arch. He stopped them both carefully and drew her hand up to the place the branches met and drew his hand down in a straight line quickly, parting the air. In doing so, a ripple formed, looking almost as if the scenery in between the arches was an illusionary curtain. He smiled and pulled it apart, offering his hand to Ellie. ”Come Ellie. I will grant passage to my home. But you must come. I promise no harm will come to you.” He smiled gently, waiting for her to take his hand. After, he would guide her through the rift in the veil and bring her about to the entry to a long bridge. In the distance could be seen a great tree, housing castle turrets and free flowing water. He smiled gently, his hair lighting a bit in the glow of the lights on the bridge as he sealed the veil behind them. With an excited smile, he bowed and gestured towards the castle. ”Welcome to Ileavyan, Princess. This is my home, and now I open it up to you. I hope you will grow to love it here.” He smiled tenderly, leading her down the bridge path towards the castle. He hoped it would not seem to foreboding. The last thing he wanted to do was scare off his princess before showing her around, and letting her meet some of his people. That would be a great tradgedy. He could not let it come to pass.
As they drew closer to the castle, he could see some of his servants milling around, as well as some of his guard. He gave a wave and they all seemed to straighten up. He smiled and nodded, letting them know it would be much better for them to be at ease. They seemed confused for a moment before relaxing. Shay smiled warmly and led Ellie into the Great Foyer of the castle. He smiled at the warmth that came from the lights adorning the walls from their sconces, as well as the natural light coming in from the ceiling. He looked down the halls, smiling at the quiet sounds coming from the foyer. It meant that all was well in his time away. That was good. It meant there had been no attacks, and he would have more time to show his Princess around, and get her adjusted to his new home. He would be able tot put off work without worrying about catching up. That was, until he saw a shock of red flame coming at him. He carefully pushed Ellie behind him as the flame stopped in front of him, looking up at him with goden eyes. A frown was plastered on the female’s face as she looked up at Shay with a frown. ”Shayne’alann O’Hara, you may be the Pr…” The female stopped, looking confused as she looked up at Shay, and then to Ellie behind him. A look of surprise passed over her face, and she bowed low, letting her fiery tresses touch the floor. When she rose again she smiled. ”Is this your new companion? Shall I take her to her room? You have an important visitor waiting for you, Sir. He insisted he shall not be kept waiting. I can show the Lady to her room.” The woman smiled gently, and Shay turned to Ellie.
So soon he would have to leave her. And so soon his secret had almost been spiled. He frowned deeply, looking at Magdelyne, knowing the fiery woman would do just as she had said. He looked to Ellie with a sad smile. ”Would you mind if Magdelyne showed you to your room? I am so sorry Princess. But this man, insistent as he is, if it is who I am thinking of, will not rest until I see him. Wouldn’t you mind terribly? I promise I will make it up to you.” He felt awful, but looked to Ellie, awaiting her answer. He would do everything in his power to make the meeting fast so he could return to his Princess and her adjustment. It had to be scary for her to deal with this on her own, but he had to meet this dignitary before he shouted war, or came and ruined the peace he was trying to maintain. He only hoped it wouldn’t be such a terrible disposition to his Princess. He would make it up to her. That, he swore to the sun.

The pink haired rabbit couldn't be any happier! Closing her eyes and lifting her face up to the sky, Ellie closed her eyes as she inhaled deeply, breathing in the smells of nature as her toes wiggled in the grass. Yes.. this was much better than being stuck inside. Outside is where she belonged. Looking over at Shay, she smiled gently and ran over, hugging him tightly. She would do anything to help this man who granted her freedom, whatever he wished of her, then Ellie would gladly do. The princess just wished to make him happy. Hearing his response to her question, Ellie blushed lightly and nodded her head in understanding. The demoness had thought that slaves were meant to stay with the people who had made their purchase, but this kind man was going to allow her to go back home if she was miserable at his home... It made her heart swell and flutter at the idea, which worried her because it had never done that before. Feeling the gentle touch of his lips on her hand caused her to blush lightly as her tail wiggled. Not only was he kind and gentle, but he was the perfect gentleman as well! If only the princes she had met before she ran away had acted like this.. maybe she would have been married and able to help her kingdom. No.. she couldn't think about that. Things happened for a reason and Ellie believed that maybe she this was meant to happen. Maybe she was brought here to meet this man? Now that thought made her smile gently as her blush turned half a shade darker.
Seeing the man kneel before her made her frown. She didn't want him to get his clothes dirty! Seeing the slippers and his handsome smile, Ellie simply nodded her head. He didn't have to put her shoes on for her!! She didn't want him to think of her a spoiled little princess. As he straightened up and pulled her close she looked back up at him and smiled at the thought of seeing his home. She was curious as to where this man lived and what his home looked like. Following him as they walked into the woods, her ears twitched as she listened to the animals running and chattering about. Looking up in the branches to find some squirrels watching them, the demoness couldn't help but smile as she listened in to their conversation on why they were in the woods, and where to store their acorns for the winter. Such busy little animals they were! When they came to a stop, Ellie looked at the arching branching and her eyes widened in wonder as he did some wonderful magic. The veil seemed to ripple and wave, making her curiosity only soar. Looking up and then to his hand, she took it and marveled at the warmth and comfort it offered her. Hearing him promise that no harm would come to her only made her smile."Yes... I know that you wouldn't let that happen... I trust you..."Blushing and walking with him through the veil, the young woman's eyes only widened as she was greeted with the sight of a beautiful castle. Letting go of his hand and taking a step closer, Ellie smiled brightly as she looked over her new home. This was so beautiful!
"It's so beautiful... Thank you for bringing me here with you."Flashing him a bright, excited smile, the princess followed him closely, looking around as they walked down the long bridge, admiring the enteric arches above them. How could one not love this place? The nature that surrounded it and the beautiful cascading falls.. Oh it just made the rabbit itching to explore. Maybe if her new master wasn't busy, he would indeed do that very thing. She could wait patiently until he mentioned it. Walking into the large foyer, ruby colored eyes took in the new sights, until she was pulled behind the man's back. Frowning and putting her hands on his shoulders, the small woman peeked over his shoulder to catch a glimpse of a a woman with lovely red hair. Hearing something about a guest and feeling Shay start to turn around, Ellie moved away and looked up at his sad smile. There was no reason to be sorry. He must be a busy man to live in such a place."Please do not look so sad Mr. O'hara! You do not need to put off your work because of me. I understand that you are busy."Smiling warmly at him she took his hand squeezing it gently."If Miss Magdelyne isn't too terribly busy to show me around, then I do not mind going with her."Smiling at him once more, she squeezed his hand once more before watching him walk away. He was a good man... She could tell that she would like him very much.
Looking over at Magdelyne she smiled warmly at her, hoping that she wasn't putting off her work just to take her to her room. Ellie would hate for her to get behind!"I hope that I'm not interrupting your work. Thank you for taking time to show me to my room."Smiling and giving her a small curtsy, Ellie straightened up and felt her tail wiggle with excitement."My name is Elouera but you can call me Ellie if you wish!"She had hoped that she could become friends with Miss Magdelyne! Following her to the room that was meant to be hers, Ellie walked inside and started to play with her fingers. Was it really okay for her to have this room? Looking over at Magdelyne nervously, Ellie felt her ears droop a little."Is Mr. O'hara sure he wants to put me in such a lovely room? I don't mind being placed somewhere else. I would hate from him to go out of his way to do this..."Looking towards the window, Ellie couldn't help but walk over to look out. The view from her window was beautiful and a gentle smile appeared on her face. Looking back to Magdelyne, the demoness curstied once more, bowing her head."Thank you for helping me Miss Magdelyne. If you should ever need any help then please find me? I admit that I don't know how to a whole lot, but I am willing to learn."Ellie smiled once more at her and put her hands in front of her as she looked towards the bathroom."Is it okay if I take a quick bath?"Walking into the bathroom, Ellie did away with her ears and tail, and pulled her hair up as she slipped into the water once it finished running. Dipping down lower to her water to where it was level with her chin, the demoness sighed softly. Yes... she believed she would definitely come to love it here..
With a sigh, Sahy left his Princess in the hands of her new hand maiden. Of course, Magdelyne was much more than a simple hand maiden. She was practically his right hand. A better advisor by far than the ones appointed to him, but she preferred not to have an officiated title. She said it allowed her to move around more freely without the weight of eyes and ears turning form her. And of course, Shay trusted that Magdelyne was right. He needed to extra pair of ears and eyes to survey things he missed. When his Princess said that she would be fine going with Magdelyne, he nodded and kissed her hand tenderly, letting his fingertips trace over her cheek gently. ”You are in excellent hands, I promise you Princess. If you need anything that you don’t have, ask Magdelyne and she will get it for you. Once you’re settled and this business is handled, perhaps we could have dinner and I could show you some of my favorite places in Ileavyan?” He smiled and bowed once quickly before turning on his heel and hurrying down a corridor, knowing it would lead him into the Western side of the palace. He mounted a set of stairs and ended up on a secondary floor. Soon he would have to face these men. He worked on composing himself. Straightening his hair and coat, leveling out his walk into measured steps instead of the dancing he’d been doing around his princess. That was the carefree side of him. The part he wanted to share with Ellie. His beautiful, gorgeous Ellie. But now, he was going into a room of men waiting to eat him and steal his kingdom. In here, he had to be a prince. And he would, to protect his new companion and his people.
As he opened the door, the Ambassadors hushed and looked him over. He nodded his head carefully, striding in purposefully to his own advisor and sat at the head of the table. The other men around the room took that as a sign to be seated as well, making their way into chairs and starting the soft shuffling of papers that signaled the beginning of their meeting. Shay eyed the other man in the room. Of course, it was a dignitary from one of the villages. One Shay himself believed to be harboring illegal relations with their enemies. He was also a major sign of dissent among Shay’s people; constantly claiming that since the Prince had no wife, he was not truly a King and could not govern the people of Ileavyan, birthright or not. It was this sort of dissent that was causing rifts in the political system Shay was trying so hard to maintain. It was not early. He was not a political person, and despite the tutelage of his advisors, Shay was making no further strides in running the kingdom in the way of his parents. He looked over his major political opponent and the men he had brought with him. These were men of import from the surrounding villages. This was not going to be a good meeting. It would take up so much of his time and he needed to get back to his Princess. She didn’t know her way around, and he wanted to be the one to show her about. This was his home, and now it would be hers. Why couldn’t these men pick a more opportune time to speak with him? For instance, after he was married and his Princess coronated as Queen? Instead, he looked to the men. ”How can I help you gentlemen?”

Magdelyne did just as her Prince ordered her and gently guided his new companion towards her bedroom. ”This way please, princess.” She slowed her pace slightly so the pretty pink haired female wouldn’t have to run to catch up. The red haired elf wondered if the pink haired rabbit knew about Shay’s secret. If she knew that he was indeed the prince and sole ruler of Ieavyan, but somehow, the red head figured that little detail had not yet come up. She would not be the one to spill the beans. Shay would surely not appreciate that. ”You are my work, Princess. Have no worry. I will be here to get anything you need… Princess Elouera.” The red head smiled gently and brought the pink haired Princes to the Queen’s suite, as she had been instructed, showing the girl inside. It seemed to registered on this Pricness that the room was indeed rather spacious. The Princess began playing with her fingers, something Magdelyne took into note rather quickly. Was she nervous? No harm would come to her. Magdelyne would make sure of that. When Elouera asked about the accommodations, Magdelyne shook her hand and tenderly took Ellie’s hands. ”Princess, I do not think you understand how important you are yet. These rooms are quite befitting for you. There is simply nowhere else that could house you. Besides, you will be close to his Ma….I mean, Shay. You will be close to Shay.” She smiled and began airing out some of the beeding. She even went to the armoire to see if there would be clothes to do for the Princess while they were waiting on the tailor to prepare gowns and other clothing.
When Ellie offered her own services, Magdlyne looked at her, surprised. This girl truly didn’t know anything about what was to be expected of her. That was almost the worst part. She’d curse at Shay later for his ignorance. He couldn’t simply choose a girl and let her flounder. He would definitely be receiving an earful. Instead, she moved to the bathroom. Hearing that the Princess wanted a bath, Magdelyne nodded quickly and began running the bath. She heard a few maids enter the room with fresh linens. They spoke in hushed voices about the prince’s return and his dashing good looks. Magdelyne quickly sent them away, afraid that their speaking of his description would reach the princess’s ears. She didn’t want there. It would be far too much work to keep this secret hidden for long. She was hoping that her prince would indeed come about and tell this poor girl what would be expected of her. Instead, Magdelyne told Ellie that the bath was ready for her. Once she was inside, Magdelyne prepared a gown she thought would fit, hoping that it would be to the taste of the Princess. She even took the skirting and made a small hole for Ellie’s tale. It was quick work, but it would have to suffice. She moved to the bathroom door. ”Princess. When you are finished, there is a gown for you. I will go fetch Shay for you. If you need anything there should be another maid in here to help you dress. I will return as soon as possible.” With that, she mad a mad dash from the Princess’s chambers, heading for the council rooms on the other side of the palace. She would not let Shay’s ignorance ruin the tentative peace hey had in the Castle. She was about to rip him a new one.
~ >,,> ~ >,,< ~ <,,< ~
Shay was beyond exhausted as he walked from his meeting, just on pretenses alone. It had been another bout of shaming his name and his position. He had been so frustrated with the subtly veiled threats that he had told the men there was indeed a Princess in the castle awaiting his return, and that he intended to make her his queen quite shortly. Wheer ethat decision had come form, he wasn’t sure, but now he regretted it. Once the men had left, his own advisor had given him a scolding and started the preparations for the wedding and the coronations. It would happen fast, but he wasn’t even certain that his Pricness wanted to be married. What if he had just made a huge mistake? He was horrified that he was pushing things far too fast. It was his mistake, and now, his Pricness was wrapped up in it too, not even knowing her true role yet. Instead of heading for his room on the main route, he took the back staircases, even using the servant passages to avoid detection. He just wanted to clean himself and be presentable for when he took out his Princess that evening. Making his way for his rooms, he entered them quickly, dismissing the servants that were cleaning with gentle movements.
After a shower and getting redressed, Shay moved quickly to the queen’s chambers. A disgruntled looking Magdelyne awaited him. She was cross with him, and he knew it. He looked at her sheepishly and watched as her finger moved right into his face as she cured him, chastising him for not telling his Ellie that she would be his Princess, and that he was actually a Prince. That the name he called her was not just a name, but an official title. He looked at her warily and told her of the meeting, and watched her grow stiff. ”You did something very foolish, my Prince. You need to be careful with her. What if that’s not what she wants? You’ll plunge all of Ileavyan into war…. You may have war coming now…..of… Shay…..” He frowned deeply, shaking his head and brushing past her, promising that everything would be alright, but even he knew the words sounded empty. With a sigh, he knocked gently on Ellie’s door, not wanting to intrude if she was asleep or changing. He had been taught manners after all. ”Princess? May I come in? Or, would you care to join me out here to discuss a tour and some food?” He hoped she wouldn’t turn him down. He wanted his princess to see all that his kingdom had to offer. And then, he would tell her the truth.

The Rabbit Princess didn't know what to do with herself! Ellie knew that she was incredibly lucky that such a man as Mr. Shay had found her. Smiling gently at the thought of the man, Ellie continued to follow the woman in front of her, observing the palace as they walked. It was a beautiful castle and it made the young woman itch to explore its walls, and even outside of them.. She wanted to feel the grass beneath her feet, smell wild flowers, and hopefully lay out underneath the sun on a warm day. She only hoped that Shay would be able to join her. Ellie wanted to learn more about this wealthy man, who obviously held quite a bit of power in order to have such a large and opulent palace. Was he a high ranking general who won the King and Queen's favor in battle, or was he possibly a royal? One of high birth and station? Thinking quietly to herself, Ellie soon blinked her thoughts away when the lovely red head stopped. Walking into the room behind her, the rabbit demoness started to look around the room. It was beautiful but Shay didn't have to give her such a grand room! Turning to Magdelyne and voicing her concerns, the princess looked down as she grabbed her hands and then back to her face as she began to speak. Her words calmed her, even bringing a smile to her face. This woman was so incredibly kind to her and they had just met! Smiling warmly at her, Ellie squeezed her hands affectionately and nodded her head in understanding. "Then I will take very good care of this room Miss Magdelyne, and thank you for your kind words. Though I do not think that I as important you think that I am, I would really like to live up to those expectations and to be able to help Mr. Shay. I would like to do something to repay the kindness that he has shown me."
Giving those soft and warm hands a last squeeze, Ellie let go and begin to walk around the room, and stopped out the window in order to enjoy the view for a few moments. After all, Shay did say that he would like to have dinner and walk around the palace, and Ellie needed to take a bath. She wanted to look nice for the man! Watching as the female elf began to air out the bedding, Ellie asked if there was anyway that she could take a bath. Smiling and following her into the bathroom, Ellie looked around the bathroom, wondering if all the rooms, even the closets, in the palace were all beautiful! As soon as Magdelyne began running the water, she walked out, leaving the rabbit demoness alone. As she began removing her clothes, her ears twitched at the sounds of more footsteps and... hushed voices? Looking towards the door, nose wiggling in thought, Ellie tried to catch a little bit of their conversation, but they were soon sent away. Someone handsome had returned to the palace? Thinking about it quietly as she continued disrobing, the young woman slipped into the tub, pulling her hair up and getting rid of her ears. Could they possibly be talking about Shay? After all... he was handsome and they had just arrived, but he did have some visitors? Shaking her head at the thought, knowing that couldn't be right. The others would have been talking about it when they arrived, so it had to be Shay. Smiling at the thought, happy with thinking she was right about it, Ellie began her bath, enjoying the relaxing warm water, and the lovely scents of the bath soaps and oils.
After rinsing and relaxing for a moment or two longer, the rabbit princess decided that it was time to get out of the bath, and soon started draining the tub before reaching out and grabbing a fluffy towel. Closing her eyes and sniffing the towel, smiling at its soft floral fragrance, Ellie wrapped it around her and walked into her new room, soon finding a gown that was laying out for her. Running her fingers along the soft and silken fabric, the princess smiled and soon began drying herself off when another maid entered her room. "I'm here to help you dress Princess. I promise that I will make you look lovely for your dinner tonight." Nodding her head in understanding, Ellie let the maid help her dress and fix her, deciding it was best to leave it down in loose but still bouncy curls. "You are absolutely beautiful Princess!! Now, I will leave you to rest before dinner. Have a good night your highness." Watching the other woman bow and leave the room, Ellie couldn't help but smile at her kindness. Everyone in the palace was just so nice to her! How could one not love this wonderful place? Sighing happily and moving to sit at her window once more, simply enjoying the beautiful trees and stars. However.. that peace was soon short lived. Having her ears out after the young maid had fixed her hair, Ellie felt them twitch again at the sound of voices. Voices that were right outside of her door. Standing up and walking over to the bed, the demoness listened carefully, making sure to remain quiet. Closing her eyes and focusing only on the voices outside of the door, the princess soon realized that it was Shay and Magdelyne talking!
Nibbling on her bottom lip, knowing that she probably shouldn't listen, Ellie couldn't help but be curious! After all... her father was the one to say that sometimes being quiet and just listening can reveal a lot about a person. It was at this moment that her father couldn't have been anymore correct. After listening to everything, Ellie closed her eyes as her mind began to process all of the information that she had just overheard. So Shay was a Prince after all and one that needed to marry as well.... feeling her chest tighten as her heart thundered against her chest, the rabbit princess looked towards the door and frowned. Why did he not tell her that he was a prince?! She would have treated him just the same! Sighing deeply and moving to sit back at her window. The Prince said that he had needed to marry... was that why she was brought here? To help him find the perfect bride? Looking up at the stars, a determined expression crossing her features, Ellie knew that she would try her best to do that very thing! Shay only deserved not only the most beautiful princess, but the most caring one as well. Smiling gently as she decided to remain quiet about everything, knowing that it was best if he told her. Jumping at the sound of a knock, she quickly stood up as her tail wiggled nervously."Please come in Mr. Shay! I've been waiting for you."Once the handsome prince entered her room, Ellie gave him a warm smile as her heart skipped a beat.
The demoness decided that she would do whatever she could to make this man happy.
In the seconds it took for Ellie to respond to his question of entrance, Shay’s heart skipped a beat. He was nervous. Magdelyne was a very good advisor. She brought him the best information he could ask for. That was why she so often acted as a palace staff member. The staff of his palace always had the best gossip from other lands. Magdelyne was quite good at sorting out what was useful and what was simply gossip to occupy the lady maids. When she was cross with him, as she was now, there was good reason. Perhaps he had gone about the situation wrong. Perhaps he should have been honest with Ellie. It would not suit him to start such an important relationship with lies. Especially if they were to rule this land, and had to trust each other inexplicably. No. Magdelyne had every right to be angry with him. She was right. He should have been honest with his Princess, and he should have thought more about her safety. With such little time, he would have to catch her up on politics and make sure she was safe. It might not have been wise to announce an engagement so soon. Not when the other Lords were practically tearing down the walls of his kingdom to invade and plunder. If any other them brought harm to his princess… he feared what the result would be. He would be merciless. War would be inevitable. Life in Ileavyan would change drastically. However, he wanted to think on more carefree things that suited his mood. Such as his lovely princess, dressed in a beautiful gown that much better suited her than anything the esteemed Pallas estate could give her, even if they were much better than other establishments.
With the invitation to enter, Shay moved in carefully, shutting the door behind him. He gave her a bow and when he stood, he drank her in. Her long pink hair fell in gentle curls, cascading down her silk clad body. He was so happy that he had found her. It was a miracle no one had taken this lovely gem from him before he had the chance. How long had she been in that market? How long had she been alone? On second thought, he didn’t want to know. The injustice of her imprisonment, even if it had meant he got to spring her, made him enraged beyond pleasantness. She was with him now and that was all that mattered. A warm smile was painted across her serene face, and he felt bad that he had had to leave her behind to deal with the insufferable Lords who wanted nothing more than to see them marry one of their stuffy daughters, so they could control his kingdom. His parents had wanted him to choose someone he loved. They had trusted his judgments. He would not ruin that trust by taking a way that would put another Lord in charge. His father had always been wary of them. It was reasonable that Shay had every right to be just as wary. After all, if they threatened the arrangement with his princess, they were no good to deal with on business levels. He would make sure they paid dearly if they threatened the engagement that he hadn’t even had the nerve to announce yet. However, when he had said he’d found someone… that put Ellie at risk. He would be watched, and he worrie that he had made his princess a target.
He returned her smile and offered his arm, hoping she would take it. ”Well, lovely Princess, I hope you are more comfortable now. How about I show you a bit around the palace, and then we can have dinner somewhere that will make you feel more at home. Maybe outside, instead of in the walls of the castle? The Fields will be lovely this time of night, I would very much like to show them to you if you feel up to the walk.” There were so many things to show her. So many places he wanted to take her, so she would know just what Ileavyan had to offer those who lived within. Especially considering, as Shay desperately hoped, Ellie would one day be his queen. He wanted her to feel at home here. To know it’s beauty as he did. To see the wonders she would rule over. To meet the people. He wanted to many things for her, but they would be impossible to complete all in one day. He felt awful about it in truth, but there was only so much he could do. Instead of pouting further, if Ellie had taken his arm, he started out of the room and down the corridors explaining where the guest wings were, where the throne room was, near the grand foyer, and how Ileavyan was worried about its instability with some of the other kingdoms encroaching. He also shared that the prince of the land was doing the best he could to maintain calm and steady his lands, but he explicitly left out that he was the prince. Another lie to add to the list. Yet, he pushed on and led her out from the palace and towards the Fields of Elysium. A meal would be awaiting them there, tasted by a tester he had already had assigned for Ellie, as well as his own.
As they reached the picnic, painstakingly laid out on a plush blanket with the sun setting behind them, Shay helped his Princess down. Sooner or later he would have to tell her the truth, but for now he just wanted them to be friends and get to know one another. He didn’t want to spoil things between them. Not when they had just begun. He lowered himself next to his princess and passed her a smile. ”Bon apetit, Princess.”

Hear heart was beating so fast in just the short moments of waiting for the Prince to enter her new room. It was quite curious was to why Shay felt the need to keep her real identity from her. Maybe he did it out of safety? Maybe someone was threatening his life who lived outside of the palace walls? Whatever his reason may be, Ellie would wait patiently until the man felt like telling her. That seemed like the best idea! After all, there could be the chance that he thought she would treat him differently if she knew he was a Prince. When the man walked into her room, the demoness gave him a serene smile and curtsied as he bowed. Ruby colored eyes brightened as his eyes looked over her, causing the princess to blush softly and turn her face form him. Ellie wasn't very used to having people looking so closely at her, seeing as her father kept her hidden from other men. The King just didn't want to take the chance of having some untrustworthy man taking advantage of his beautiful and innocent daughter. Seeing his warm smile made her feel relaxed and as he offered her his arm, the rabbit princess took his arm and looked up at him.
"Yes, Miss Magdelyne is very kind and helped me get a bath earlier. I just hope that I didn't take her away from anything important. I would hate to be an inconvenience."The woman smiled warmly at him as she walked by his side. The idea of seeing more of the palace was exciting and the rabbit wiggled her nose in excitement."Oh that just sounds wonderful!! I'd love to see more of your home and having dinner outside sounds very lovely! I hope that I won't be interrupting your schedule. If you have other things to do, we can always postpone my tour."After all she was brought here to make his like easier and to possibly find a bride. Ellie didn't want to make his life harder or be a burden to him. As they walked down the halls, Ellie listened and paid attention to every detail, not wanting to miss anything.
She couldn't help but admire the beautiful palace and all the lovely decor. Shay's home was absolutely magical and she found herself beginning to fall in love. Looking up at him with a frown as he furthered explained that the kingdom was on the brink of war, and that the prince was having a hard time keeping the peace. What a terrible thing! The woman understood how it felt to have your home threatened with war. She could only hope that her father was doing okay with keeping the peace at home. Looking ahead, Ellie couldn't help but wonder if Shay had been in a meeting with other the other men that were wanting to take his home."I can understand how the prince feels. My father was very much in the same position. While I did my best to help him with the politics behind the scenes, the best way I saw to help him was by forming an alliance with another kingdom..."
Giving him a sad smile she then let out a soft sigh as she gave his arm a reassuring squeeze."Of course, it didn't work out the way that I had originally planned, but it did let me meet you Mr. Shay which I am very grateful for. You have been incredibly kind to me."Smiling warmly at him once more, she gave his arm another squeeze. He was such a good man."If there is anything that I can do to help your prince, will you let me know? I would hate to see such a beautiful place plunge into war."Smiling once more, she walked with him outside and let out a deep sigh. She had always loved being outside."Your home is just as beautiful outside as it is in. Thank you for bringing me here Mr. Shay."
Making their way towards the nice picnic that was spread out for them, Ellie wiggled her nose as she caught the delicious aroma that was to be their dinner. Giggling excitedly as he helped her down onto the waiting blanket, the rabbit princess looked over everything with eager eyes. Not only did everything smell delicious, it looked just as appetizing. When the handsome man took a seat in front of her, she smiled at him."Everything looks so good... I don't know what to start with first."Flashing him a bit of an embarrassed smile, Ellie picked up a plate and she soon began to fill it with things to try."As we eat, will you tell me more about yourself Mr. Shay? I'd like to learn more about you."Smiling once more, she took a bite from her plate causing her eyes to close as a happy moan escaped her. Though the food served to her at the Pallas Estate was quite good, the dinner she was having now was far much better.
Yes, the rabbit was very, very happy to come to such a wonderful place.
