Yukigakure is surrounded by mountains on all sides, and there is only a single safe entrance through them. Located in a valley between two mountains are two giant pillars that reach skyward, marking the entrance. There are always guards present. Even if one cannot see them, they can rest assured they are being watched.

Suou stood solo midst great rock formations; results of millions of years of nature at work. And as is natural with the creation of these rock formations, there would have to be a large amount of erosion taking place over this long period of time. Suou was here to extort this fact of nature in his training.
The boy has had his clan's gift for quite some time at this point; in his palms were the openings of metal rods that stretched all the way back down his forearms. They were a part of him and allowed him to better use ninjutsu that were tied to the element of wind. Suou, using his clan's gift, would lift both of his arm up in front of him, his palms facing down, and his fingers limp, but still stretched outward slightly as if he were a master puppeteer. The chakra would emanate from the openings in his palms, releasing wind chakra into the air around him and then swirling with the small particles of dust, stone, and sand. Suou would tilt his hands so that his palms faces upward and bring his arms in closer. This motion caused all of the particles he had affected to be pulled up from the earth and then converge around Suou, swirling around in a tempest of sand.

As the sands swirled around his body, Suou would hold his chakra in the air and swirling with the particles. He would then forcefully shut his palms and cause every particles to cease movement. In just about a second from this, he would quickly cross his arms and the particles would all rush inward towards him at once, clinging to his body. Every visible part of his body was then plastered with these sand particles, which then would begin to harden on him, creating what was almost like a shell of sand on his body. This shell was heavy and difficult to move in, but Suou managed to move back to a casual position. He turned his head left, then to the right. He was checking the movement capabilities of his neck. They were there, but it was difficult. This was a durable armor and would later probably save his life in many situations.

Now, to complete this part of his training, Suou knew he would have to get offensive with his techniques. Suou would push himself to move his arms out to how he had them when he was practicing the manipulation of the particles. His arms were extended outward with his fingers limp, but still a bit stretched. After a moment, the chakra was leaked out of his palms and then it would swirl around his body. The particles of sand would begin to loosen themselves from his body and then the armor would begin to break apart. As it slowly broke apart, Suou grew impatient and simply forced out more chakra, smashing the armor into particles. He would then pull in his arms and aim his palms at each other. All of the particles would converge again, but in between his palms this time. The particles would swirl around in a sphere violently. Suou, once all the particles had gathered, would push his palms forward and launch the sphere of sand forward toward a wall of stone. When the sand sphere collided with the wall, it would explode. The force was enough to launch somebody back quite a bit. Suou's eyes then caught something. Using his enhance vision and perception, he scanned the impact area. He noticed some deep lacerations in the wall of stone. The particles of sand had enough force to cut down into the stone. The technique was simple, but would definitely be effective in a fight.
