I read this, and had to do a take back, realizing what was written: P-C Because everyone has "maternal instinct" and the moment their pweeeshush baaybeee is born they'll just fall hopelessly in love with it... never resenting it for all the pain and suffering it has caused because she was forced to remain pregnant. rolleyes Okay, you might be scratching your head as well, but we all have seen something like this being said. Two points I want to make: 1. Is that it can do stuff now, like cause pain and anguish to the mother. I'm sure a non-person isn't capable of such feats as human action *gasp*. And 2. The mother resents the child because 'it caused' her pain...... IT CAUSED!? The mother is becoming spiteful of the child because it is only trying to live. You think the child wants to cause anyone pain? Not anyone that comes to my mind. Just a little to chew on.

I just read that a few minutes ago while browsing around in there, and, yes, even though it's incapable of doing anything, they think it caused her pain. xd

yes, how stupid of them... i also notice one stuck up jackhole said on the "debate" that he "PREDICTS" that ALL unwanted pregnancy ALWAYS leads to unhappiness, and thus the child should be killed- he admited that it is not always the case, but still, it is a horrible argument because 1- things aren't supposed to be judged by what the might be, and 2- it's a prediction HE MADE and had the nads to say that it was always right and until it wasn't the unborn should be killed- i wonder how the cyanide air of tralfamadore is treating him?
another said that "the mother is worth more than the fetus"- and, if it is life for life, i agree, the mother should have a choice. however, that is not the case, the REALITY is, it's a life for about 5 months of discomfort (for the other 4, the pregnancy would hardly be noticable- 5 months is a stretch too, isn't it?) the are trying to pass it off as one versus another, when really it's one's comfort for another's life.
how stupid and blind they can be

But don't worry all the elements met up and decided to kill the human race. Sodium was behind it all. So our tralfamadorian unstuck choicer will go down with the rest of civilization.

So our tralfamadorian unstuck choicer will go down with the rest of civilization. ...yeah, i was being sarcastic again, saying that the only way his argument of prophetic visions could ever be realistic was if he happened to be able to see the future... which as we all know is, at this time, impossible.

Oh I know. I just got excited by the Vanagaut reference. I heart him, even though he is severly pessimisstic...actually he is slightly less pessimistic than usual in Timequake. He even talks about his wife's early pregnancy and pregnancy in general in terms of "Preganancy is the begining of life, not the end"...of course, he then goes on to talk about a crazy convict bombing abortion clinics but such is his crazy mind.

i love those pictures in your sig.
and yes, it is true- i notice their arm-long excuse for why abortion is good, every possible thing that could ever go wrong with pregnancy, justifying what the do by what might happen ( a taboo for lifers to do though, judge by what can happen) the list is depression, twelve other names for depression, hemmoraging of every place that could ever hemorage (didn't spell it right, i know), basically every stretch they could make of anything that could go wrong. the thing they forget though, is that pregnancy is part of abortion- you have to be pregnant to have one. so, all of those sympotms also apply to abortion, assuming late-term abortions are included. plus, a** a slip of the knife, rusted tools, guilt-related mental disorder... so, even by the double-standard logic they like to use, abortion is STILL more dangerous than giving birth....
