Cody looked at her when she spoke after having looked him over but he knew that he wasn't going to do anything but soon he got up and looked at Brittany when he heard Rayne ask if she wanted to come which he couldn't believe that he found himself glad that she wasn't joining them. Soon he then nodded to Rayne as he grabbed his own bag and after stopping by the store to pick up some equipment, he lead her through the campus till they came to the larger dorms that were more like actual apartments. He lead her to his apartment but once inside, he looked at her, "You can let Spier out if you want, their shouldn't be anything in here that can hurt him... and I don't have any pets or open windows." He said reassuringly because he didn't have anything that could hurt the bat but he had plenty of places it seemed for Spier to hang around.

Rayne said as she promptly removed the rather large bat from his bag and placed him on her shoulder where her long, dark hair could shield him from the light, then seated herself comfortably on his bed, her back against the wall. "Well, it seems the dorms are pretty nice." She said, looking around absently.

Cody saw that she got the bat out of her bag but he dimmed the lights to keep the bat from being blinded but soon he thought about it as he walked into his little work room that had a computer, desk and what looked like a clump of metal and wires but looking closer, it looked like an arm, a robotic arm. He looked at her when he came back, "Can I get either of you anything?" He asked kindly to her.

▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬"Water would be lovely." Rayne said, laying back on his bed. "Preferably with-" She started before sitting up. With that, she placed Speir in her bag quickly and stood, going for the door. "Hey, thanks for the hospitality, but I just remembered this assignment I've got to complete by tomorrow, so...Ciao!" She said, giving him a two-fingered salute and rushing out the door.

(Sorry for not posting...) Cody looked at her when she said that but when she began to seem still, he noticed her put Speir in her bag but watched her leave, "Um... okay..." He said softly but when he thought it over, he looked around as he thought over what just happened but soon he just shrugged guessing that it was nothing but he got a call from the school and began to walk to the school again. Cody was walking home when he thought that he heard some yelling coming from inside of a jewelry store but when he walked inside, he was grabbed and thrown to the floor, a gun pointed to his face. He had just walked into a jewelry store that was being robbed and he just put his hands behind his head, laying on the floor but kept calm.

from the pale-haired faeries above,▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬NightWind sighed as she sat atop a building with a rather good view into the jewelry store. She crossed her legs elegantly as she pulled back her bowstring. Could the glass withstand bullets? Of course, it was a jewelry store. Could it withstand her arrows? Not a chance. Really she was just rather irked. She didn't generally like dealing with petty human crime, but she had a reputation to uphold, so... "Let 'er rip." She said to no one in particular as she pulled her string back a tad more and let it fly, going after it as it shot into the store and through one assailant's knee, burying itself in the cashier's desk and quivering there as she landed, sending broken glass skittering across the floor. She held her hand out and the arrow returned to it, even as she swiped her hand across her pendants and her sword was freed. "Look guys, we all know how this is going to go." She said, letting her accent become much more prominent, as par usual when she was in her NightWind persona. "So why don't yeh just set down yer guns and come along quietly." She spun her blade in her hand like a baton. "I don' particularly enjoy killin' you lot, but I will if I have to. Not to mention yer friend should probably see a doctor about that busted kneecap." She said with a cute grin. ▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬They dance on the flowers at dusktime
and sing haunting songs of love.
And if you just believe wholly
and stay always purehearted and true
the faeries will be there always
to keep careful watch over you.
