Nahumar heard her question...then looked around.
"To be frankly honest, I was surprised by a house appearing in the forest so I sent a few Parasites to investigate. However, they were actually afraid to enter. Then the one, I believe you called Thimble, ran from us after Sogno decided to toss him and see if he could fly. So after it ran in, I had to see it for myself." Nahumar approached Mary once again, patting her head with his hand.
"So my first reason was just out of Curiosity. Now my reason is to get you situated with the area you are living in now." Nahumar then had an idea come to him. He knew Mary could not leave this house but the energy outside of her home might do the trick.
"Mary. You say you do not care about Gensokyo when you have not seen it yet. What is the point of caring about something you have not seen or been with?" he held a hand out to her, wondering if she would really accept it. Though it would possibly be hard.
"Do you really want to be alone forever? This home is nice but without any friends or someone to care for you it could end in your own demise. Gensokyo has limitless possibilities. There are mountains that reach the white clouds, rivers of crystal blue, fields of golden wheat, a mansion of red and a bamboo forest of green. The world you are living in now is nothing but black." Nahumar tried to guilt trip her on her art in some odd way, explaining that there are colors of all kinds throughout the land outside her home. Would she be that submissive though on the first talk? She was still a child at heart and it might take more convincing to get her moving.
Nahumar did see her outer appearance being unique, but what he truly saw was a girl who was trapped and wanted someone to free her. In his mind, one that could guide her through that door and into the world he lives.

"I told you... I can't leave." Mary didn't move as Nahumar petted her head. She didn't move much at all, only staring at the wooden floor between them. Even as Nahumar offered his hand, she didn't move, her gaze fixed.
"I'm... stuck here. It doesn't matter, the colors of your world." The objects around her began to dance again, this time in a somewhat erratic and almost threatening manner. Things in other rooms could be heard moving as well, the entire first floor seemingly coming alive in a parade without life. "It's a world I'll never see, unless..." One of the objects happened to be Mary's knife; it hopped around on its blade's tip, circling her chair and cutting small wedges of wood from the floor boards. "I'm hungry. I want something to eat. You're the only one left..."
Despite her threats, Mary didn't appear as though she wanted to move at all. This man could potentially free her, though certainly not in the way he proposed, but this man, ah, this man looked like he could defend himself, very much unlike the others. Not that defending himself would be a threat to Mary.
On the other paw, this man was the first... what was the word? Ah, 'friend'... He was the first friendly face she had seen in... well, ever. She had given others chances, but they always betrayed Mary. One even tried to harm her, having found out how... Mary saw to his demise quickly.
"I'm hungry." Mary repeated, finally meeting Nahumar's eyes, a look of apprehension and instinct in her own. The objects suddenly froze in place, and the house became very quiet. Silence. How fragile...

"A being who requires a body to leave. How unfortunate for her. there is no other choice I believe then." Nahumar did not budge at her actions.
"Hungry for flesh...I do not think you would enjoy mine at all." Nahumar stared back at Mary and with a cold voice spoke to her.
"I see nothing but a beast who's gluttony will only cause downfall. Seeing through your childish actions, voice and behavior...I see nothing but a beast." He didn't lash out to attack nor did he even try to move. Instead, his manipulation of Fear itself started to go to work. Altering his eyes to look more blood shot. Every time she tried to harm his shell, the wound would appear to open up and release spiders, worms, and such creepy crawling insects to frighten her to no end. His tendons even changed into a more bone like wing with the tips dripping blood and certain parts holding the flesh or muscle of the bodies. As much as it was illusions, he tried to get his point across.
"And like any beast, you are like me. Scary, horrifying, deadly and most of all...hungry for flesh. Hungry for human bones. The taste of their blood is just delectable isn't it?" though deep down he was vomiting in his mouth at how he acted. It was all to a means.
"Face it. You are not as pretty as your pictures...you are like me." if she was to look into a mirror, Nahumar would alter it to show her face, though with sharper teeth, blood dripping from her mouth as well as her horn having a human head impaled on it. Her eyes black as the void and to top it all off...bleeding from said holes.
"Welcome to Gensokyo. Where beings like yourself are called...Youkai."
His laughing was near chaotic, a mixture of various voices all at once. A greeting fit for her way. Even from afar, the parasites, Incubo and Sogno felt a large chill run up and down their spine.
"Master is at it again..."
"How does he live on knowing he can do this?"
"I thought she could be saved...but I doubt it now. It harms my soul to do this to a young one but this kind of beast should never escape her home. If she does...I will kill her if she even tries to harm the denizens of the forest before she gets within viewing distance."

Mary laughed joyously, moving first to kneel then stand on her chair, further increasing her height to closer meet Nahumar's gaze.
"Pretty! You look pretty!" She laughed, the ruckus from the objects around her slowly dying into a soft clamour. The change to Nahumar's appearance didn't seem to bother her, nor did the distorted visage of her own. The mirrors in her home had long since broken, shattered by the force of the mere existance of the abomination that might have once peered into them.
"But I don't care what the taste is like. It never even crossed my mind! I don't care what I eat, but eat I must!"
With the avatar of Fear so close, Mary lashed out at him with the abnormally pawed hand, its claws as real as any steel. She became confused when her attack didn't seem to effect the man at all, and even more so what her claws brought back bits of bugs instead of flesh and bone.
"Ah..? What's wrong, you rotten inside mister? You've gone bad!" Another swipe, another handful of bug parts. She shook out her hand furiously, as they began to crawl up her arm. "Hey, get your bits off me! I...Ah!" In her confusion, Mary tripped over her own feet, sending herself over the back of the chair, and toppling it over with her. She landed with a soft thud with tears welling in her eyes.
"O...Oouuw...!" She rubbed the back of her head, completely forgetting about the insects that may or may not be there. "G.. Go away! Meanie!"

Nahumar settled his visions back down until they were no longer there. Only now his body seem to actually show the inside with a weird black moving tendon in the holes. They would slowly regenerate in time.
"It is now clear to me. You are beyond help, demon..." Nahumar turned his back on her as he began taking a step out of the door.
"You are not worth keeping around at this rate nor do you seem to understand what is at steak. Your sadistic little self can only be satisfied when you consume flesh or humans..." Nahumar looked down at his chest. It was a small wound in his eyes.
"In any case, you will learn how to consume food of a variety in due time. Though from the way you act you can not adapt so easily. I will leave a small sample of items in you doorway. You can choose to eat them or rot yourself whenever. I already did my part..." Nahumar pulled up a tendon from the ground that soon dropped forth an apple and some fruit, some carrots and other vegetables, raw meat fish and even milk. A pallet of every kind of taste but no human flesh at all.
"You know, there are stories of a Youkai of Darkness who has been subdued long ago. I should go look into it myself." He said to himself as he left.
A few parasites looked around the corner. Frightened and scared to be eaten by her. They knew they were expendable but could easily sense danger miles away and avoid it at all cost. So they stood at the door entrance, afraid of being the next meal themselves. Hard Love for a newcomer indeed.
One even tried to approach her but the second her eyes beamed onto it, the parasite would dash off back outside. Even now, Incubo and Sogno were tasked with keeping a close eye on the Parasites as well as check in to see if she decided to eat anything.
"This is weird. She isn't that scared of Master's power..."
"That is because she is a creature herself. You saw her yourself Incubo. She is a construct. A patchwork being of sorts..."
